Thanks for the info. Since I installed the CN Mod V4 ROM on my F350S I can not enter hard/factory reset. I followed your instructions and arrived at a white screen with Chinese writing, no options to choose, and my IMEI # at the bottom of the screen. Last step for installing the ROM was to preform a hard reset. Withe no recovery I'm screwed.

From the screen with the Android/Exclamation mark and 'No Command' dialogue press volume up and power button simultaneously to access Stock Recovery menu options. Then it's volume up/down to scroll, power to select.

It didn't work man.
Hi,
I've just seen another post quoting instructions from moto tech support for that stage so maybe it's not a simultaneous press (that is what I thought I'd done to get into it )- says
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key

It worked perfectly!!!!! thanks so much man!
Hi, I'm hoping i'm just being stupid but i can't get my moto go to boot into recovery.
i powered it off, changed sim cards and now it boot loops.
so boot into fastboot menu and choose any option(except barcode and the one that changes codepages or whatever) and it just goes back into boot loop. any bright ideas anyone? not been a good day so far today, my number just got ported over to OVIVO today. but they stopped operating yesterday - the joys... :crying:
cheers!
What did you else do with your phone? Is it stock? Or did you flash anything? Are you pressing volume up to select option? Did you try a factory reset?

nothing!
it's completely stock. i think i installed 1 app (philips hue). was working fine. powered off normally, took the sim out, put new one in - boot loops!
i can't do a factory reset as it when you choose anything out of the fastboot it reboots. and that's using the volume up to select options.
i think i'll just take it back to the shop. but it's a pain in the neck
Yeah 2 options fiddling around yourself or going to the shop.
I would go back to the shop and ask there as it is untouched.
Maybe it has seriously some problems.
If you want to try it yourself i would reccomend you to reflash.

Are you sure you are pressing volume up?
Last days somebody had security case for the phone.
When he pressed the gum layerd buttons he accidently pressd the power button.
Once he took off the case it worked for him.
Maybe restore firmware

hopefully this helps restoring your phone back to factory settings
I think this will help
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release.
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to select
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
Try to perform a wipe data. In my case it works.

Nobis Tablet
Model – NB09
Android Version – 4.1.1
Kernel Version – 3.0.8
Build # - NB09.2013929.V005
This tablet says it has insufficient storage space and I am unable to install or move any apps. It also keeps factory resetting every time I turn it off. Is there anyway to fix this?
You have to reboot into recovery mode, wipe everything/factory reset because your tablet may have errors in the system and to boot into recovery mode, turn it off and press & hold power button + vol up at the same time until you see the nobis logo/or it vibrates and after that release the power button, but continue to hold the vol up button until the android recovery pops up.
Then its straightforward from there.

Since mine had a warranty, all I had to do was email the manufacturer to get a return maintenance RMA number, ship it to them, and wait for them to ship it back fixed. I'm trying to find their website for ya.

I fixed the problem by shipping it back to Nobis and having them do whatever they did to fix it. When they shipped it back to me, it was working perfectly. But now, it’s doing the same darn thing, lol… Busybox was never installed on that tablet.
I have support email address

The correct method on my Nobis NB09 was to hold down on the minus (-) volume button and the power on simultaneously. Once the boot screen appears,
you will see a plain screen similar to the old DOS screens. Use the volume up and down to select the menu choice. Use the power on/off button as the "enter" key.
how to make hard reset on lg g pro 2?
Turn off your phone; if you can’t do it as usual, then press power button for about 15 seconds.
After shutting down your device, press volume down button and power button together and at the same time until the LG logo appears on the screen.
When the LG logo is displayed, let go of the power button, but keep pressing the volume down key.
Now press once more power button.
Once you do that, on your LG G Pro 2 the factory reset menu will be displayed.
Press power button in order to agree and wait while the hard reset is being completed.
Then, if you want you can enter recovery mode for clearing cache and for performing other operations.
Go back to Android OS by selecting „reboot system now”.

The phone is on stock rom and is the D83810f 16 GB version. After I took out and reinserted the battery again, the phone started normaly.

actually, this worked for me...
Turn off the LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838)
Make sure the battery LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) already full or more than 50%
Press together and hold the Power Button + Volume Down Button
If the Logo appear, then release all button, after that continue with press again Volume Up Button + Volume Down Button together then we are already at Recovery mode
Choose wipe data/factory reset using Volume Button, and press Power Button to Enter or OK
The LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) will continue master reset, wait for several minutes until the the phone start like new again.

BUT, instead of restarting, it takes me to philz touch recovery that I had installed after rooting. THen when I restart from there, it goes into the LG splansh screen and stays there forever. Can anyone help me with this?
Also, Philz touch recovey asks me to fix root before restarting. Is is necessary? I think selecting that option is causing the soft-brick.
Anybody have a clue?
You better keep a copy of workable ROM in your root directory, so that you can flash anytime to rescue your phone.
