dear friend i found solution!!!!!!!!U DONT NEED EPO FOR YOUR GPS!!!!
this solution is for all mtk6592 phones with or without EPO functionality.!!!! LISTEN CAREFULLY.
1st download gps.conf files for your country from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...vatives/cwm-gps-conf-files-countries-t1233256
2nd : extract the files in the sdcard of your phone and
a) paste gps.conf in: /system/etc (and give permission: rw-r-r)
b) paste META.INF folder in /(and replace the old folder that is empty.
3rd: then download mobileuncletools, open it, go to POWER GPS SEARCH and press "SET"
4th: reboot your phone, and then open GPS in "high accuracy" mode.
5th: download and install "GPS Status Test & Fix", open it and download extra data.
6th: go outside and u'll get a very fast fix......
Then for 2-3 days ull have a great gps even without any Internet connection!!!!!But once in 2 3 days you should have internet access to download extra data for the app........TEST IT!!IT WORKS!!!!

People who have a problem when installing Google Play by using apk, for example: Error processing purchase [DF-BPA-13]

Download ADB driver if you have not installed it ( Tested on Windows 7 )
You must have debug usb active in your phone. this driver need for use adb command example for root script or use MTP function.
2. Download firmware + flashing tool + drivers from here: May 7 Firmware With New System.img
OR Only Driver For Haipai I9220: Drivers
3. Unrar the firmware, turn off your phone and take the out battery, then plug the phone into your PC.
4. Install the driver from the firmware folder that you unrar before, then plug out the phone.
5. a) Go to Flashtool folder and run SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe
b) Choose Factory Database --> Setup data source file: "MTK_DATABASE.mdb"

6. Make sure the phone turned off and the battery was taken out. Click Start All and plug your phone into the PC then wait about 5-10 minutes for the flashing process to finish ( Write OK ! ).
7. After it is done, we are good to change the IMEI. However, before that try to turn on the phone to see whether the phone is working or not.
8. If everything is ok, excepted IMEI was missing, download IMEI Changer Tool from here: IMEI Changer For Mtk6575
9. Unrar, install the program and run SN_STATION, which can be found on your desktop. Follow the instruction in the Chinese manual, but we only need to follow the picture in that manual.
The file "Modem Database" and "AP Database" is in firmware folder. You need to choose exactly the file that you see in the picture.
10. Write down two IMEIs on the back of your phone ( you need to take the battery out to see it ).
11. Again turn off your phone and take the battery out, then plug the phone into your PC, but this time we need to put the battery back in very quickly as soon as we see:
"COM port searching and preloader handshake ok" on SN Writer Log.
11. Wait until "Write Result Indicator" becomes green, then the IMEI has changed successfully.
OR you can try to change your IMEIs by using ZOPO IMEI ( Thanks to colouriste )
1. REMOVE SIM CARD(S) FIRST !
2. Check "Dual Imei"
3. Type in original IMEI #'s 1 & 2 and then
4. Click "Write"
Enjoy the new firmware with GPS working, wifi improved, front camera working, beautiful font and more...

If you are stuck at Booting Screen, please try those tips below ( For UPDATE 4 Only ): by zBeYuz
1. Did you forget to extract your system.zip in firmware stock 05 June folder ?
I just found out earlier that I totally forgot about it .
Just extract that file you will get system.bin then delete system.zip and start to flash the firmware normally. ( Booting up will take about 3-5 minutes after it is done ).
If the phone is still stuck please consider the next step...
2. One more thing to take note, I am using different flash tool from angelobiz:
You can refer how to flash with this flash tool here:
0. Driver must be installed: http://www.4shared.com/rar/9onOaDl5/Driver_New.html? ( Please refer to UPDATE 2 for more details )

Tips + Tricks:
1. Thanks mikeysteele: "One thing I noticed after installing Set CPU is the kernel defaults to the Performance Governor. This means the CPU is always running at the maximum frequency so that might explain the poor battery life. I changed it to the On Demand governor and my battery life has improved."

FIGHTING !!!
Hi I would like to update some information about this phone,
1. The resolution of the screen is 800x480.
2. The original battery with 2800mAH capacity is so so, normal usage about 1 -2 days. On the battery stated that the cell made in Japan, yet finished in China.
3. The phone comes with the case with Samsung logo on it, together with a screen protector (not really good).
4. Additional infomation:
a) The front camera is on the left hand side, which is quite bad, because the Galaxy Note's is on the right side.
b) 3.5mm audio port is very depth, I have no idea why, so normal headphone or earphone like Beats Monster, for example, will be loose. But we still can use the one comes with the phone.
c) Camera is 8Mp and the picture looks quite nice if there is enough light.
d) It runs very smooth without any issues.
e) There is no touch pen.
f) Android 4.0.3 without Google Play or Market, Youtube, Google Map.
g) The camera sometime has a noise, like tac tac, when the apps need to use it ?!
At the end ? I still like it and I will try to update other good and bad points later if I can find any
*Update on 17/05/12*
h) After a long usage, the phone using original rom sometime can't rotate the screen even the "auto rotate option" was on.
--> Solution: Remove the battery and put in back in 30s, the phone will be functional as normal.

Please share this with us!
I received this same device today. It is not dual core, see: http://dualsim-smartphone.com/img/smartphone/i9220_mtk6575_dualsim_8.jpg
If any vendor claims it is so, what they are referring to is that it has both a 'normal' cpu plus a graphics chip. This is normal and its not the same as dual core!
Neither is the display qHD, as that would be 960x540. This device is 800x480. The display is... mediocre. I don't find the low density to be an issue, but a grainy texture is visible on light areas, e.g. the background in the Messaging app. Colour accuracy is also pretty bad: you get what you pay for.
FWIW I arrived here by googling DF-BPA-13 as I have the same issue. My temporary solution is to load apks onto the microsd on my old phone, then install those through "File Manager"
Thank you, guys. I will update my post above.
Btw, Does anybody hear anything about customised and rooted rom for this phone ?
To richardkemp, can you teach me how to recognize a dual-core phone ?
I thought all the mtk6575 phones were the dual-core phone.
Thanks in advanced.
@zbeyuz: The picture I linked above is from the link you provided in your first post. The first line of the results on the left hand screen shows "Number of cores: 1". Further the vendor correctly lists the chipset as the Mediatek MTK6575. Googling this might bring you (eventually!) to Mediatek's product page for this chipset. You can be sure that if it were actually dual core, the manufacturer would want to tell you about it: they mention no such thing.
Something I noticed while browsing chinese phone websites was that different sellers would provide different specifications for the same devices. Some would claim that a chip was dual core, by counting the presence of a separate main processor and graphics processor as if it was 'dual core'), and some would claim higher chip speed, e.g. 1GHz main processor + 500mhz graphics processor = 1.5GHz total. This is misleading and nothing more than a sales tactic.
It's a shame there's so much misinformation, the vendor I purchased my Haipad from marketed it as having an AMOLED screen, which it plainly doesn't.
As for ROMs, I'm gonna get stuck in to some ROM cooking once my exams are over, but that won't be for another month. In the mean time, I sure would appreciate any tips on getting root. To save anyone checking, SuperOneClick doesn't work.
Additional info on the device:
- Screen is capable of detecting 5 simultaneous multitouch points
- (In the UK at least) Network location does not work. Google maps cannot find my location from cell towers, or from my Wifi. GPS does work however.
- My device came without Android market installed, and as mentioned above, does not work once it is installed.
- Either the proximity sensor or the light sensor (top left by the front camera) flashes faint red constantly when the screen is on. Not a big issue but slightly distracting. The values reported by the prox sensor are just 0 and 1, no middle ground.
- The light sensor reports only 3 light levels: 160, 1200 and 2600. This makes automatic backlight pretty rubbish.
- The speed of the phone is fine - I will add some benchmarks later. Right now it's a pain in the butt since I can't get the benchmark apps from the market.
- WiFi signal seems weaker than I'm used to - my reference devices are my desktop PC, my Fujitsu ST5112 Win7 tablet, my (retired) HTC Desire, and my girl's Samsung Galaxy Y Pro and Asus Win7 Ultrabook. These all received moderate to good WiFi signal in my room from my WNDR3700 N router, all capable of streaming video at this distance. The Haipad on the other hand shows weak signal in the notification bar, and subjectively it is much slower than when it is downstairs nearer the router, a bit of a disappointment here.
- Lots of info on the device is available by starting the "EngineerMode" activity belonging to the "EngineerMode" package. This can be done by making a homescreen shortcut with a third party launcher (eg Nova), and choosing to add an activity shortcut. I recommend only look, don't modify any settings in case you break something!
- I don't know if it's just me but I find the overscroll elasticity way too 'loose'. If I flick a list hard and it hits the end, it takes a long time for the list to settle into the correct position. I look forward to being able to tweak this...
- The battery seems to charge quite slowly. I know it's large so getting to full charge would take longer than with a standard battery, but I am used to large batteies - I used a 2200mAh battery in my HTC Desire and I'm pretty sure it charged faster (using the same charger). Of course a factor in this will be that I have had the device active with the screen on almost constantly, so a lot of power is being diverted to that.
- My phone is capable of connecting to my network (t-mobile)'s proper 3G service, but seems to sometimes choose a 2G service instead, even when there is just as good 3G signal.
Will update this with more as I think of them.
zbeyuz, you say your camera is on the left, I presume you mean the front camera? the main/rear camera is right in the middle.
@richardkemp: Thank you for your quick reply. I did mean the camera in the front is on the left. The main camera is right in the middle, yes.
However, last time, when I tried to put on the Galaxy Note's case, the main camera didn't fit in the right position of the case. Maybe, because the screen was bigger than the real Galaxy Note's, I think ?
Update: The default browser of phone ran quite fast even there was a low wireless signal, but the browser didn't have back and forward button, is that right ?

This is from my seller and it works.
1.Please download root file on
www.t-kstore.com/4.0root.rar
2.Go to*setting-developer options-click USB debugging
3.Connect the phone with computer, turn on usb device.
4.Click the file you download from the link TPSparkyRoot.bat*
5.Your phone will restart first time, after the phone start finish(until you see the unlock),click enter in the window of TPSparkyRoot.bat.
6.The phone will restart second time, still the same as first time we did. Then start third time, same as we did in last two*times.Click enter, then phone was rooted.
7.You will see two more app was installed in your phone, that mean root phone successfully.
After successfully rooted, it will install rootexplorer.apk Chinese version which is rather useless for installing Market because it's all in Chinese. You should be able to find Filexpert.apk from the web, and install it.
Here is how to install Google Play Store:
1. Download Vending.apk from http://downloads.androidadvices.com/apks/Vending.3.3.12.apk
2. copy Vending.apk to \system\app\ folder in your phone by using Filexpert in RW mode
3. change permission of Vending.apk file to Read/Write for Owner; Read for others
4. shutdown your phone.
5. switch on your phone, you will see Google Play Store app, and enjoy!
Did anyone mange to get GPS working ? I tried with Google Maps, but fail.
Thanks a bunch bthoven. I took the liberty of tidying up the script a bit, and including the latest Google Play Store and an English root file manager (Filexpert, as you suggested).
I put it on mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?qnmvebaa3k8usjw
Same instructions as before, just extract the archive and run TPSparkyRoot.bat with your phone connected by usb cable, and USB debugging mode enabled. If you wish you can disable USB debugging mode once this process is done.
Beware that the play store I included is the mod version from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1582422, to allow you to access apps without region restrictions. In future we can properly set the phone's region in build.prop should remove the need for this temporary fix. That's for another day..

Hi gargamelxda,
I've got the same phone and noticed the same thing with certain apps on the play store. Basically what I found was the device was missing a bunch of Google support files that were in GAPPS zip. Now I wasn't able to flash the GAPPS.zip file through the built in recovery as it wasn't signed correctly for this phone and there is no custom recovery available yet.
What I ended up doing is extracting the GAPPS zip file to my SD card then used the root explorer function in ES File Explorer to mount /system as RW and move the majority of the extracted /system files to the same location in the device root /system folder. Couple of things to remember though:
1) Don't overwrite anything that's already there (there was only 2 or 3 files already there by memory)
2) If the folder already exists don't copy the whole folder but rather all the files under that folder as you may either stuff up the folder permissions or create a new folder as the android file are case sensative (eg the folder "Apps" is different to "apps")
3) There are some apk files you won't want to copy like the "onetimeinitializer.apk" file as it will run the google first time initialization next time you reboot which may stuff up your settings (although if you're planning on doing a factory reset after doing this it should be OK and all the changes you've made will stick as they're in the /system folder). I also found that if I copied "LatinIMEDictionaryPack.apk" and "GoogleTTS.apk" they would constantly crash after the reboot.
4)Make sure you set the permissions after you're done copying to "-rw-r-r--" for the files and "drwxr-xr-x" for any new folders you create. you can do this individually with ES File Explorer but if you're ok with linuix command line you can do it in batches (eg all files with the apk extension) via the Android Terminal Emulator app or ADB Shell over a USB connection to a PC. I don't remember the exact command lines I used but if you do some searching on this forum you'll find them easy enough.
After a reboot the apps should now be available to install (at least they were for me) via the Play Store.
Usual disclaimer - If you stuff this up you may brick your device and I'm in no way responsible for it.
Hope that helps
Cheers

I spent a few days trying to install Google Play the cyanogenmod way, following instruction on a spanish site similar to what other's have posted here. The idea is to mount the readonly systemfolder using the bootloader and insert/write systemapps into system/apps
I succeeded but for some reason launching google play was killed instantly by some resident app on the phone.
On the MIUI forum somebody called Eric Xiang built a google play apk that kills the resident blocker and installs googleplay !
xttp://en.miui.com/thread-3998-1-1.html
I now have a fully operational V975 (4.2.2) with the latest official build B06 and google play.
Out of the box the phone is unlocked but not rooted.
To root it, install xttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15286951/update.zip using the bootloader (vol+ and power on, when v975 wakes up release power but keep vol+ pressed for a few seconds more, then browse to update.zip. Obviously you preloaded the zip on a sdcard.
If ZTE release firmware B08, you'll have to root it again.
Battery life is excellent, as well as speed, camera, GPS fix is instant. I had a iocean X7 that i killed trying to get the gps working, but v975 feels a lot faster vs the X7's MTK 6589 quadcore 1.5ghz. Granted there's less pixels to move around.
One caveat : iCoyote does not install because of binary incompatibility ? This is an x86 device.
I also discovered the existence of AmazonMarket. Not as complete as GAPPS, but a nice fallback market. And most of the google stuff is installable by apk anyway, so living without GAPPS was not as bad as it looked.
Thx to Eric Xiang, his app prolly opens up all androidphones to googleplay, chinese phones can flood the rest of the world now
the above was two days of research guys, enjoy it !

[Q] KatKiss on TFT101G

Hi to everybody, thanks the suggestion of Federuco, I installed the ROM modifified by ShevT fo TFT101G; even if it asked the PIN for the Sim inside, when I try to navigate with the 3G it doesn't works.
Also I noticed that GPS it doesn't fix at all (the signal blincking for a while, but no fix).
This is what I installed :
Rom KatKiss 4.3.1 _29 for TFT101G (thank to ShevT)
KatKiss-4.3_AddOn_TF101G_Kernel_01
gapps-KatKiss-4.3_20130914
What I can do ?
I'de like to wrote this thread on the developpers section, but I'm a newbie so I can't wrote in that section
Thanks a lot in advance

if it is taking a long time to get a lock or no lock, follow this:
Install the latest K.A.T app
Then follow precisely this procedure:
1) Location Settings
- Go to Settings => Location => turn OFF Access to my location
- Turn Access to my location back ON
- Make sure you agree to let google access the location.
Now you should have :
- GPS satellites: checked
- Wifi & mobile networks location: checked
2) Launch the new K.A.T app
- make sure you grant it root access
- make sure you have internet access
- go to the install menu, Check the "Install GPS quicker fix + Assistance
- Click the Install button
- Make sure it says "Install Finished"
3) Reboot
4) Wait that it has finished booting and launching all the stuff you have starting at boot
5) Start your GPS app outside with a clear sky line, to speed things up stay in range of the wifi / internet connection.
Do not let the gps app loose focus when it is trying to get a fix.
Do not let your tablet sleep / turn off the screen either.
Doing that here, the first time and with a cold gps start, and even staying in my house,
I get a 6 sat fix within 30 seconds and 11 sat fix in 1min 15seconds.
From there subsequent fixes takes about 3 seconds to grab 7 sats and about 10 seconds to reach the 10-11 sat fix
(you still want to let it sit outside for a bit after the 1st fix, so that the ephemeris data gets consolidated and updated to help faster fix later on)

For 3G module functionality have you tried last ShevT KatKiss_3g-4.3.1-20131227-029 release?
Also I have a TF101G and as soon as possible i switch from stock to KatKiss, maybe we could exchange tips and opinions.
Greetings

Look up any of ShevT's posts and the links for his builds are in his signature.
Found it. Thanks. Just one question. I have 2 camera apps and one seems to be related to the gallery app. Any idea how to "solve" this? I want to remove that one -maybe to reflash the gallery app???

Kingzone K1 Turbo Tweaks & Fixes

Hi guys,
I wanted to post this here in case it helps anyone else enjoy their device while we wait for kitkat for our device :silly:
There are a few things that I had issues with with the K1T to start off with:
ROOT!
Install Custom Recovery
Slow and inaccurate GPS
Inability to install Xposed Framework
Lack of useful Cyanogenmod features like advanced reboot menu
Expandable volume settings
Volume too loud at lowest setting
Gyroscope not working
GPS being constantly on!
Navigation buttons going dark while screen is on
Auto brightness too bright in dark
Outdated GPS EPO files
OK so to start off with I'm going to assume that you have adb tools installed on your PC and has some idea of how to use it.
I have tested this for the Kingzone K1 Turbo only. Regardless use this guide at your own risk.
All these changes were made on Stock ROM (0502L009_20140815)
1. Root:
This is quite straightforward. Download the attached RootGenius program and follow the simple instructions HERE
2. Install Custom Recovery:
Download my TWRP-based recovery HERE and place it on the root of your SD-Card.
Install MobileUncle from Play Store and choose Recovery Update in the menu after accepting root prompt.
Select the recovery.img file that you have on your SD-Card and follow the prompts.
Done.
3. Fix GPS Issues(could be used for other MTK devices too)
First of all, depending on were you live, you should change the NTP values and additional server values in the gps.conf file since they are set up for China(unless you live in China of course)
Since I live in Europe, I chose the European NTP entries.
I would suggest that you find the entries for your region HERE
This is what my gps.conf looks like(/system/etc/gps.conf):
Code:
NTP_SERVER=europe.pool.ntp.org
XTRA_SERVER_1=0.europe.pool.ntp.org
XTRA_SERVER_2=1.europe.pool.ntp.org
XTRA_SERVER_3=2.europe.pool.ntp.org
DEFAULT_AGPS_ENABLE=TRUE
INTERMEDIATE_POS=1
ACCURACY_THRES=4000
SUPL_PORT=7276
SUPL_HOST=supl.google.com
To you see yours type in adb shell:
Code:
cat /system/etc/gps.conf
To edit yours use something like ES File Explorer and only edit the first 4 lines to match the servers for your region.
Then delete files /data/misc/mtkgps.dat & /data/misc/EPO.DAT
Reboot your device and go outside.
With internet access and some maps application or something open... wait until it gets a fix. It can take a few minutes this first time because it has to regenerate the files that was deleted.
From now on your GPS fix should be quicker but your accuracy still might not be 100% this will be much improved once you DeOdex your ROM in a later step below which I HIGHLY recommend doing.
4. Inability to install Xposed Framework:(could be used for other MTK devices too)
The reason for this is that you need to DeOdex the stock ROM before this would work.
I found an excellent article HERE by @superstone to deodex our device.
I've slightly simplified the steps though since they are not all required.
DO A FULL BACKUP in recovery ...... just in case...
Ensure you are able to use adb. If not google for a guide that shows you how to install adb tools.
Download the attached customized MTK deodex tool from the Unreal Odexer guys as can be seen in THIS thread and extract onto your PC.
Use the tool as per the included instructions to extract and deodex the files from your phone.
Then copy the files from the app and framework folders on your PC to your SD-CARD to /sdcard/done_app & /sdcard/done_framework
Next in command prompt on your PC:
Code:
adb remount
adb shell
stop
cp /sdcard/done_app/* /system/app/
rm /system/app/*.odex
rm /system/app/*.jex
cp /sdcard/done_framework/* /system/framework/
rm /system/framework/*.odex
rm /system/framework/*.jex
echo dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:fast >> /system/build.prop
reboot recovery
In recovery wipe Cache and Dalvik-Cache.
Reboot and wait for the first boot to complete. It will take some extra time while recreating the cache.
After this you should be able to install Xposed framework without issues AND much improved GPS accuracy and fix time.
5, 6, 10, 11:(could be used for other MTK devices too)
Install the Gravitybox xposed module after you installed the framework as described above and you will be able to customize ALL of these items so that it is very Cyanogenmod-like.
Go through the options in Gravitybox to find what you would like, I promise you you will like the stock ROM much more after
7. Media volume to high on lowest setting through loudspeaker.(could be used for other MTK devices too)
in mobileuncle tools go to the Engineering Mode(MTK)>Hardware>Audio>LoudSpeaker Mode
Choose Type = Media & Level = 0
Then set the value to something lower.... I chose 120 but this is up to you... you can change the other volume steps here as well but I left it.
8. Gyroscope not working.
This needs to be fixed in the source... I'm still hoping that I'll be able to do this one day
9. GPS constantly being on.
Under the All Apps menu, force-close and disable the weather apps that came with the phone, they are hogging the GPS.
12. Outdated GPS EPO files
I've made a simple app EPO Tools which will when run download the newest EPO.DAT and EPO.MD5 files from epodownload.mediatek.com instead of the under resourced FTP location to a temporary location under /data/data and then copy it to the /data/misc directory where needed.
It also has the ability to automatically and silently download the EPO files on a daily schedule as set by you.
Because you are copying to /data/misc, you need to have root.
It does nothing apart from telling you "EPO updated" when its one.
Would most likely also work for other Mediatek devices that use EPO files.
If there is any interest in a lean ROM based on a DUMP of the changes above, I can see if I can produce something like that.
Anyway I hope this helps someone. If you have any questions then please feel free to ask. :good::good:
How can i see if my gps is always on?
You will see the gps indicator in the status bar when you are not using any Gps related applications.
I don't have a gps logo when i have gps disabled..
Of course you wouldn't because it is then disabled.
Congratulation to your custom recovery! Im still trying/learning to make one myself. I'm currently following the Cyanogen porting guide, but I fear a successful outcome is impossible for the time being with the mtk6592 chipset. Nevertheless I'm learning a lot, so I'll keep trying.
The GPS-Fix can be done without rooting:
Go to your folder where you have adb.exe installed, create a file gps.conf with the content in the first post.
Then open a Terminal in this folder. Type:
Code:
adb shell
mount -o rw,remount -t yaffs2 /sys /system
exit
adb push /system/etc/ gps.conf (<- note the space between /etc/ and gps.conf)
cheeers
Added ad-free EPO DL app.
Nice effort, thank you! I am still hesitating to apply this since I haven't given up hope on the elusive Kitkat update. Will wait until the end of the year and then go for a custom ROM.
gyro not fixed still?
hi I received my k1 turbo today as I wanted a big screen good phone and to use it for google cardboard VR BUT my gyro does not seem to work, ive tried all the sensor test apps and it only seems to work in 1 of them but the rest and most used apps don't find it, BUT I downloaded a few games that require ou to move the phone to play the game and that works, also I downloaded a gyro 3 space planted thing where you move your phone to move around the planted to make it look 3D and that works
google cardboard does not work and non of the apps for that done as when you move your head the game or apps don't move as the gyro does not work, so is there definatly no fix for it that I can do? if not then im going to return it and get my money back as the phone is basically faulty, I really love the build and the screen the camera though is really bad lol there is no way in hell this is a true sony 14mp sensor, all pics look bad, even in good daylight and then when you take one and zoom in a tiny tiny bit to see the details the quality is horrid lol, also in video mode you can not choose the res of the video it only says low or high quality, also every spec list for this phone says it can do 1080p at 60fps or 720p at 120 fps lol which is a lie, though I have a nokia 1020 which is pretty much the best camera phone around so that could be why this k1 camera looks bad to me
I would live with crappy camera if the gyro was working
ALSO did this phone have a gyro problem when it was the android 4.2 or has it always had the problem
You bought the phone for the same reason I did, VR...
Unfortunately no the gyroscope doesn't work and never has in any rom [emoji20]
I will be getting a refund and posting it back then, I have messaged the seller, its obviously a big fault with all the phones so its not acceptable
also I think I may have a battery problem with mine as well, it was 10% so I put it on charge and after about 10-15 mins it was at 95% I took it off charge and it dropped back to 8% within 5 mins, I then left it for 2 hrs and just does the same
this is what you get for buying cheap phones I guess, this is the last time I do it, think I will just pay the extra for a big brand, ive never had problems with big brand phones before lol, it a big shame though as the screen and built is fantastic and id say the best build phone ive every had :/

4.4.2 Kit Kat
Now that the KitKat update has come along, do you think you could help me out a little bit with that process? I thought it would be way easier than this. If I at least had an idea of what went where, that would be pretty helpful. I just want to go to the regular Stock 4.4.2 and I'm not sure really if it's done differently than a custom firmware or what.. Thanks!!
Off to a good start with the K1-T
Hi
I just ordered a K1-T last week and am waiting for it to get hear and I want to I guess get off on the right foot, so ware do I start ? Root it, put on recovery and back it up ?
And then move on to a custom ROM ?
I have never had grate luck backing up phones in the past seems that once you wipe it there never the same. and on one S4 I had I did not know that if I updated it that I could not us a custom Roms
and it was realty tough to UN-update it.
and I it looks like on (Need-ROM) a lot of Roms are pre-rooted and recovery I don't know how that works? You need root and recovery to install any thing don't you?
my last PH was a note 3 and it went for a ride on the roof of my truck.
I have been wanting a K1 scene it first came out, and now I just don't want to brick it
my wife is not to understanding about that sort of thing.
So can you please get me on the right track with it thanks –Rick
I have been following all the threads I can about the K1-T on XDA but I don't know my way around
and of if I need to contact any one else. hake, i don't even know ware to look for this reply.
( i am clueless i guess )
Sorry I am a vary poor speller
and if you can email me that this not got though.
Do not update to KitKat, do not flash a custom ROM. Just root. Phone runs best as is. You may miss XPosed at first, but there's a lot can be done with root alone. Just clean China apps.

OK , so you are saying if it is not broke don't fix it, once it is rooted uninstall the bloatware ?
what about auto on-line updates, shoud i prevent it from updating its self ?
from what i have seen i looks like a nice OS out of the box, a little plain maybe but nice.
If it comes with JB it will not update itself to KK. Run any updates from OTA, though.
Yes OTA updates are the last thing to worry about when it comes to kingzone [emoji16]
