[Q] Lockscreen text message display - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am running the stock OPO lockscreen. Trying to figure out how to stop it from displaying text messages on the lockscreen and I just don't see the option. I like the unread count. I noticed if I only have one text message it displays the text right on the cyan part of the lockscreen. Is there a setting I am not seeing to keep the unread count, but not show the actual text message on there?

[Q] Messages Question

One thing that has bugged me with nodo/pre-nodo is that if you have mutliple unread text messages, and you use the notification bar to jump into one of them, you cant go back to the messages screen without hitting the menu button first, and then the messages tile. Is there a fix for this in Mango?

Remove badge after read text message

After I read a text message in notifications and clear it, the text messages icon still has a badge showing a red one. So I have to open my text messages and read the text message again before the badge goes away. Is there any way I can get the badge to go away after I have cleared the text message notification?

[Marshmallow] Prevent SMS lockscreen preview from combining texts

Is this possible without 3rd party apps? I can't find an option to change this behavior. I often get two SMS from the same person before I look at my lockscreen and so it combines to say "2 new messages" instead of showing me the message preview for each message. I'd love to have a separate preview notification for each message or have one multi-line notification that shows one line from each message.

Another Nougat Question

I'm using chomp on the new Nougat update. I can't seem to figure out how to turn off the notification to prevent my text messages to show who and what the message content is on the lock screen. I have it set to private in chomp, which it acts correctly when the screen is unlocked. I also looked in the notifications and lock screen options under settings. The options I've found is to either block all notifications of chomp, which obviously I don't want to do. And block all notifications to the lock screen which I also don't want to do, as I can quickly look at emails or who has called. All I want it to say with a text message notification on the lock screen is that I have text messages like it was with the previous os. Anyone have any ideas?

Notifications

I wonder if visual notifications can be made to show up on the Colour screen. For example, if there is a message in my mail box, should a circle with a number in it appear above my e-mail icons (the yellow envelope note coming out of an envelope)? The number of messages etc shows up on the Always On Screen - but not in the colour screen . Also, is there a way to make a light flash when a message or e-mail has arrived - like Blackberry had always done.
