Try leaving it plugged in over night and then unplug it and try turning it on. You can edit the title and your first post in this thread.

No i can't, maybe because my tab is very running low battery so when i turned on, after 5 seconds it turned off again. Same when plugged in, i tried to turn on and battery icon appeared, but after 5 seconds it turned off again

After charging it, try to boot into download or recovery mode.

The same happend to me. My tab seems to be dead, no backlight, no sound when the charger is plugged, no reaction to any push button code like ON + VOL- at the same time. But I've detected already several weeks ago that the background light was a litte bit flickering. This seems to be an indication that there's something with the hardware or battery.
I belive, but I'm not sure, that the internal battery connection is loose. This is a logical reason due to the behavior of all circumstances that happend so far. I saw this at this video "Android tablet not switching on not charging" from alwaysafix (may not post a link) on youtube and read something about that issue somewhere on the web. So this would be a possible reason.
Please let me/us know if this is a solution to your issue. I've few month warranty left so I will at first find out if there's really warranty left when I rooted the tab. Perhaps theres a chance to set it back to factory default. The USB connetion seems to be working.

Sometime when I was flashing different kernels I noticed my phone now thinks my charger is USB and is going VERY slow to charge, I've wiped my phone and switched kernels/roms over and over but it won't go back to AC when it's charging is there something I'm missing to fix this?

Maybe charger going bad try another, maybe bent pin or trash in port.

It's an issue with some kernels, restore a backup or do a full wrote and it should clear it up.
If it still won't work then it's hardware related
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk
It seems really random, I restored my AOKP ICS harsh kernel backup last night and at first it was switching back and forth between USB/AC then after a minute stayed on USB, today I restored Cm7 backup to use the camcorder then I restored the same backup from last night and now it's staying on AC
- just to test, it's been plugged in for 20 minutes and on AC, I unplugged it and plugged it right back in and it's only staying on USB, tried a different charger still USB
Is it safe to assume it's my phone at this point?
E: If I only push the charger cable in VERY slowly, stop halfway, it will go to AC then if I push it in completely it will stay but if I just pop it in 9/10 it goes to USB
-It does this with the two chargers I've tried, one an actual removal USB cable and one that can't be removed
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-6
Sounds like the Charge/USB port may be going bad.
Well that sucks, no chance to get a refurbished one then either since I can't connect it to my computer to remove the nvflash? Lol

you could try, if your still in the warranted time, just flash a 2.3.3 rom and try removing the superuser.apk file using a file explorer program (i think its in /system/apps or something close to that). it cant hurt to give it a shot right?
I'm sure they'd figure it out just by the second LG screen with the blue background popping up right?

You'd be apprised how little they actually check for this stuff. Allot of them only check for superuser.apk

Hi, My phone suddenly went into a bootloop one day a couple of weeks back. The Samsung logo would come on for a couple of seconds and then disappear. Then I tried to plug the phone in via USB and then it gave me a weird loop where the battery icon would appear with a loading sign and then disappear.
I searched a lot of threads and some of them pointed towards a solution via a USB Jig. I ordered one and plugged it in following instructions.
On the screen, I could see the downloading sign with "Do Not Turn Off Target" under it. But this screen would also just flash for a couple of seconds and then go on a loop.
Any advice will be much appreciated! It's kind of a desperate situation because the phone is no longer under warranty.
Thank you!
I made a video because the problem is kind of hard to visualize but I'm not allowed to post it here yet.
Jig is used to put the phone to DL once u see the triangle sclcreen u have to remove the jig from the port u don't have to leave it in.
U have jig just put the phone in download mode and flash it with Odin or heimdall.
Download the paakge from here which fits ur needs and flash.

Yep, if it keeps looping even in download mode, this is likely to be a hardware issue.
Sent from my SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
Its looping coz op did not removed the jig once the phone is in DL mode.

Not always the case. It was looping before, and there have been other cases when a faulty power button (or dirty contact) was the cause. So, as mg posted, let's wait and hear back from the OP to know for sure.

Yep, that def sounds like a hardware problem:crying:
Thanks for your response guys.
I inserted the USB Jig and removed it as soon as the 'Downloading' screen came on but it did not help. It went into a bootloop where it flashed the Samsung sign over and over again.
At this point I'm thinking it's just a hardware problem too. I did not flash anything on it, bought it on craigslist and everything woked fine for 5 months and then the phone just went kaput.
Any place I could buy an Infuse for parts on the cheap? Or am I just waging a lost battle?

Could be a power button stuck.

I wonder how many of those power button issues are just dirty contacts. I bet that some of them could be fixed by opening the case and using compressed air to clean the contact.

Are these batteries you've used before? Have you tried going back to the first battery already? Is there any sign of life? Any led when charging? Can you boot into Odin mode? Recovery mode?
Did you do anything differenlty after your last successful boot?

nothing really... i just bought it and used it, i did not mod it..
I was able to turn it on, just one time... and it get to samsung and the sound from the booting screen made a strange noise, after that im not able to turn it on but it still looping on battery like the video
Then its not likely a software brick.
Its extremely possible that the battery is bad or that a wire may be loose inside

I have a gt-p3100 and it takes about five hours to fully charged not really 100% but just 99% and from 99% to 100% it takes about an hour.
Is it normal or it doesn't,and If it doesn't what is the problem?

My Tab is 8 months old and never had that issue. Maybe it's software, maybe it's hardware.
You could try a different charger, too.
I borrowed my friend's USB cable and I changed my tab with my charger but using my friend's USB cable.
It took 2 minutes / 1% and when I using my cable it took about 3 minutes / 1% so I I think the cable is the problem.
BTW thanks bro for helping me
