i know this isnt really the proper forum for an iphone, but i dont know where else to ask.
is it possible to add the android on screen nav keys (home open apps and back) to an iphone? the iphone has all these things, so is there an on screen control for the three of them?

so there is the gscroll program but im really not interested in it as it breaks the scroll wheel and of course isnt free plus i dont want some of the other features it has
but i really would like the ability to scroll using the capacitive area at the bottom as it allows
has anyone made programs that do this yet besides gscroll?
Anyone know how to do the following:
1. Change the color of the mouse pointer. I can only see it if the screen brightness is turned all the way up.
2. Is there way to map a key to the recent programs screen?
3. Is there anyway to "Alt+Tab" through open programs? I know the concept of open programs is different than in Windows but even a single key to cycle through would be awesome.
Thanks
as of right now, no no and no.
sorry.
You could possibly change the mouse pointer color if you root and could find the image extract it, edit it and then replace it, but as far as i know no one has tried.
there is noway to remap keys so for now you have to actually touch the screen for this. and yes i find it annoying too.
honeycomb dosn't support a function like that. maybe ice cream this fall.
Apps and recent apps are two glaring omissions to the keyboard considering all the crap shortcut keys I'll most likely never go near. A long press on the home key would be nice to bring up recent apps. Control x/c/p would be nice shortcuts as well.

Click to collapse
I know Ctrl+p works. Does ctrl+c/x not work?
I think im just starting to realize how much i used keyboard shortcuts on my laptop. I love the shortcuts listed in the general information thread, but imo there are still a number of missing ones...
I wonder whether that's something that could be developed? Right now the most annoying one I miss is switching tabs in the browser, and I suppose that one would be difficult to add in. But other than that things like shortcuts to specific apps or to switch between them (a la alt+tab) or for copy paste...
Any devs looking app ideas...
theres nothing made yet, but i seriously think that it's possible.
If you look at the emulators you can bind any key on the keyboard (with certain exceptions) to anything.
so i don't see any reason why it's not possible. someone just has to figure out how.
personally i'd bind the FN key to the recent apps popup.
i didnt think apple would do the same htc feature like opining directly from lock and the screen pinch like in htc android phones at home screen to show the whole pages although they made it for albums .... and android top curtain notification specially after she sent samsaung to court but ofcourse open source will not ask for stealer
but respect to apple who didnt force their user to buy a new phone just to get ios update.. camera button is the volume button in iphone 4
no need to buy anew phone to have wp7 because we dont have three buttons HTC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi
My mother's S7 phone on stock Android 8, Samsung Experience v9.0 is missing this option and she finds her ihome screen cons are constantly moving or disappearing, presumably because she is long pressing the icons by mistake and then swiping them.
Is there an app (or less preferably ROM) which provides this functionality? All the ones on Play just lock the screen and not the icons.
I asked on the Samsung forum and someone just said to upgrade the phone - doh!
Is there a way to use a different home screen UI is the Samsung one is not modifiable by apps?
It's frustrating that developers are not catering to more senior members who are much more prone to doing this thing. Not everyone has young nimble fingers!
