okay so i had my Samsung galaxy s4 i337 4.4.2 running fine with root and superuser installed but i tried to install a custom recovery specifically im un able to link it at this time
i did this using recovery tools now i'm getting a message when my phone starts up with a big exclamation mark saying software not authorized by at&t has been found on your phone is there any way to fix this please help me i don't care if i loose root access or anything i just need/ want my phone to work again

Hello everyone new and I just really found out about xda and have a major problem ok I have us cellular sch r530u s3 and I rooted then I unrooted to get kitkat update...so once I unrooted I lost root but rooted Alps that I use are still usable like root explorer and adaway and when I try to get ota it says sorry device modified so I went and got root checker and it says device doesnt have root access..so I went and got odin 3.07 and flashed some kind of recovery called cf autoroot d2usc schr530u tar well anyway now I cannot boot into any recovery and when I try to the samsung logo comes up but it turns red then screen fades to black and nothing happens....so as of right now I am begging for help to unroot fully and restore stock recovery and be able to ota kitkat...also I've been trying to find the firmware official for this model and no luck I dont know what is wrong but im so stressed trying to figure it out...someone please help!!! EDIT i attempted to flash it using Odin back to stock but that failed now i get the message firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies and try again when i try to upgrade the firmware in kies it say this devices firmware cannot be upgraded
p.s. Knox warranty void is at the value 0x1

Hi there. I am trying to flash a stock rom to my gs5 900a with heimdall on my mac. the device is detected but i cant seem to download the pitfile it says claimed interface error. I think its because i system wiped my phone with safestrap when i was trying to intall a custim rom. anyhow I am softbrick state now. i cant get passed samsung galaxy window with the lock. myphone was also unlocked to use metropcs and it was also rooted. any information out there could that would help would be appreacited. thank you very much.
I'm looking for help rooting my galaxy s5 SG-M900W8 running 5.1.1, I ran cf auto root with Odin it flashed an said passed, when I unplug ed the phone it was in a boot loop, I put it into recovery mode it was still saying I had no root access an that it was the original recovery, I flashed the original rogers room to get out of the bootloop as a factory reset didn't help, is there a way to root my modle on andriod 5.1.1 kingroot dose not support nor dose kingo app, I heard for the s6 running 5.1.1 you need to flash a custom kernal before rooting it this true? Can someone point my to the right place plz! This isn't my first time rooting but my first time with issues!

I want to enable the multi-users functionality on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It runs Android version 5.0.1, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I need to root my phone in order to edit my build.prop file.
Problem is, I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 sgh-m1919v, which is a phone from Videotron in Quebec, Canada.
I've tried Kingroot and Towelroot, but neither will support this phone.
Another common way to root an android phone seems to be by using Odin and going into download mode, but since this exact phone isn't on the list of "approved" devices, I am reluctant to try it... I really don't want to break it.
I've checked on this forum and haven't found an answer to my problem yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
