Volume button - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HI
I changed my screen but I did not see how was placed the volume button ....
Could anyone send me a picture or give me a tip ?
thx a lot

Yep, it's easy. The buttons are not specular, they have a rounded side and a sharp side, you have to put the sharp side to the screen direction and the rounded side will be in the back cover direction. Look at this video and this pic:good:

touchpad/buttons below screen lose?

Today i have noticed that there is now some play in the buttons below the keyboard, that makes it feel like the touch sensitive area is becomming loose. If the lightly press on the down button or surrounding area below the centre 'ok' button , i feel and hear a click. Pressing harder then obviously activates the tactile button. It feels as if the plastic sensitive panel has become unstuck......????
Also there is slight movement top to bottom - ie i can slightly move the pad up towards the screen.
Anyone else have this?
I'm having the same 'problem'. I can move the bottom panel a small bit

I guess that must be normal, but do you have the first issue described in the first post?

No I don't have that problem. It feels solid.

bezel sensor

Hi, sorry if this is an obvious question. I know the top of the bezel contains the camera, and I assume the top left is the light sensor...what is the hole in the bottom left for? My description assumes that you are holding the tablet in landscape of course: )
Thanks!

[Q] Back Cover

I am having trouble with my back cover on my Triumph... under the camera to the right, it is raised up a little bit like its loose...but i cant get it to stay down! any tips?
This happens sometimes when I put the cover back on. Usually I can just press it and it will stay down, or remove it and slide it back on while holding that corner down.

Pretty sure you just don't have all of the securing tabs engaged correctly. Remove the battery cover, line it up with the bottom of the battery compartment and make sure it's pushed all the way down on all four corners, then carefully slide upward toward the camera. Everything should line up and fit perfectly.

Removing case mate barely there?

I just got the barely there case and put it on. How do I get it off? I tried grabbing one side with my nails but can already see it digging into the plastic. How does everyone else take it off?
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
use 2 hands, one hand on the left, one hand on the right, then use your nails to pull both tops sides off..
Haha now that someone else has posted something about this, I'm not as embarassed to admit that I can't get my barely-there off.
Maybe you can try prying it open a hair with your nail and then wedging a credit card in the gap. Then just run it up the side to dislodge the entire thing.
got it off with no problem

Would you mind sharing as to how you did it?

To get the case off, I start by working on the bottom right portion of the case. I hold it in a landscape orientation with the front facing camera on the left. Left hand holds the top left and my right hand sort of cradles the right side of the phone. (Top left/right side via your own point of view, aka left hand holds top right of actual phone while right hand holds bottom of the phone)
From that position, I slowly nudge the edge of the case off the top right with my two thumbs and using my middle and fourth fingers to push off the phone's speakers through the holes as leverage.
Once you've gotten that corner edge off, it's a simple matter of pushing along the edge until the whole side is off and the phone is free.
Hope that helps!

start from the top, pull both side outwards, so both top sides are off, then put a finger between the case so it doesnt snap back on then work on a bottom side, then walla
hold it facing out camera at the top facing you. grip it pressing the middle with your thumb while pulling back on the ends. you should be able to pop it off then

[Q] Screen Gap On Corners

Over time, the corners of my screen have become more loose, especially the top right corner. When I press down on it, the screen goes down and feels spongy. It feels like there is a gap or something.
Anyone else experience this problem? I worry about the waterproof ability now.
Thanks
