Today i have noticed that there is now some play in the buttons below the keyboard, that makes it feel like the touch sensitive area is becomming loose. If the lightly press on the down button or surrounding area below the centre 'ok' button , i feel and hear a click. Pressing harder then obviously activates the tactile button. It feels as if the plastic sensitive panel has become unstuck......????
Also there is slight movement top to bottom - ie i can slightly move the pad up towards the screen.
Anyone else have this?

Can anyone else press the screen semi hard with one finger and distort the LCD screen too?
I know it is not normal for anyone to be pressing that hard, but I just want to make sure I do not have a defect before my 14 days return window closes.

ive done it before and that happens. It seems to have the same effect on all lcd/led screens with a bit of pressure. IMHO totally normal.

Thanks for the response. I know LCD screens do that, I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't an issue with the glass flexing and pushing on the LCD screen.
So if yours is doing it, then I'm OK with mine doing it too. It's not like we are going to be pressing that hard anyway.

You do know the L in LCD means liquid? If you press hard on any LCD screen this will happen. you are displacing the liquid under the screen. You aren't hurting anything. It corrects itelf in a matter of seconds.
The xoom has a really thin glass panel, this is most likely the reason you can distort the liquid easily
How this distortion looks? It could help discern what type of LCD Xoom is using. (for example pressing my PVA screen show a dark smudge)

I returned mine, as the first one I have doesn't exhibit this. Yes, if you press if really hard, any LCD would show this, but this is barely a tap. I'm using my Wacom stylus here, but it's the same with just my finger. It's actually worst in person, but you can clearly see it happening on the video. And it's only on the right hand side of the screen also, so it's definitely a defect. On mine anyway.

Actually, if you look it up on youtube, there are some videos showing how tough it is that also show how surprisingly flexible it is. It's pretty impressive stuff.

Yeah...mine is mostly on the right side into the center. Center to the left, it gets really hard to do it.
it's easier on the right side than the left on mine too but i still kinda have to push a bit. if you push in on the back panel on the right side it does it too.
Without going into a long story I just bought another 300 yesterday after returning the previous one. Upon opening and inspecting it I noticed what looks like a crack along the bezel trim in the upper left corner (in landscape) Between the power and volume buttons. Its right along the bend from the side the to the top. Ive had other 300's and never saw this on any of the others. But Im not 100% sure its a crack. It might just be a joint spot that wasnt aligned right and therefore the paint doesnt cover it. Using my thumbnail I pried slightly to see if the crack opened but it doesnt. Its still secure. So can anyone else verify that they can tell that this is a joint spot?
I also noticed a few things underneath the screen, and normally this would drive me crazy, but after all these returns and exchanges Ive gotten to the point where Im accepting flaws that just shouldnt be there. Its charging now from being totally dead so Ive only gotten a glance at the powered on screen to look for light bleed, and there is one pretty noticeable spot, but it looks like it might be a keeper as far as that goes. As long as I cant see the few particles under the screen when its powered on it wont bother me too much. But if that spot is indeed a crack its definitely going back. Thanks guys
Definitely a joint spot. Holding the tablet in landscape, the bottom two corners also have similar, though less defined, "cracks", but the top right corner does not. Is it the same with yours?

No just the power button corner for me. Pic attached.
After closer inspection I can see that all 4 corners are like that. But the one in the pic is worse. I think they just joined the pieces unevenly, and that caused the line to show up. Im just glad its not a crack.

Are you sure you have seams in all 4 corners? Like I said, I only have seams in 3 corners (I've checked the 4th corner many times).

Yea there there in all 4. But only on the edge visible from the front. Very hard to see but there. I cant believe how soft the plastic is. I can see small dents where I pushed down with my fingernail trying to see if the "crack" would move. Wont be doing that anymore.
Anyone else have a somewhat wobbly phone button? Mine just doesn't feel very study, and I can wiggle it if I want to. It's so mildly irritating that it's driving the perfectionist in me insane.
Thinking about getting a replacement.
Mine a little wobbly and if you shake phone it rattles a bit don't know if this is normal

Every one I've seen is the same so I'm guessing its normal
No it shouldn't be, unfortunately it is. Most devices have this problem, mine has too. I have seen another S6 that had not the Problem, but chances to get a S6 with perfect homebutton is probably very low now.

My GS6 flat in white has this issue too. The left side of the home button rattles a little when tapped on it. Is it normal?

There's the exact same amount of movement on both my wife's and my S6. But I'm not certain how much of a wobble is considered a defect. How much wobble is too much wobble? When you hear a noise upon pressing or moving around the device?
I think the home button needs to have a slight wobble to help form to the finger for the fingerprint scanner. If it was so stiff with no wobble or movement, then you user would need to adjust slightly more their finger to get the print just right. But I'm thinking it was designed to have a slight wobble so that it will help conform and read the fingerprint better. Of course I could be wrong, and just speculating.
I'd still be curious to see someone's S6 homebutton wobble. I'd like to compare my wobble with your wobble.
My white s6 has a loose home button also. I had an edge for a little while so could compare the two. The one on my s6 is loose in comparison. By this I mean if you lightly tap it you can hear it...didn't have this on the edge. I've also noticed that on some occasions when I go to wake the phone up the first press on the home button does not always register.

i've just noticed the same rattling sound ? it doesn't really bother me that much but you could always try to get a replacement from your carrier

This is happening to me as well. It really bothers me, I've checked with Note 4 and SGs5, the home button is firm. It doesn't soppuse to be loose as there are many S6 with a firm home button.

I returned 2 Galaxy S6 already... 1st had bad signal second had awful home button felt so cheap.
. Im on my 3rd now it's better but I think the rattle is starting to come back... Also when waking the phone with home button first press does nothing... Very strange
I think the wobbling is because of the fingerprint scanner but I don't remember it on the other S6's I had. I did try some in the store and it seemed the same. I'm hoping it's normal.

I also have the issue. There isn't any wobble on my girlfriends edge, it feels rock solid, it's also a little more extruded from the device.
Very very slight movement but nothing to shout home about!

My GS6 has wobbly button, but my brother has AT&T GS6 edge and his button is sturdy. So generally speaking my GS6 has defective home button
So, it is worth to replace it, or the chance to get a perfect one is very little?
On previous S phones, there was an option to turn on sensitive screen. In my s7, there is no such option but it seems like it's turned on. It registers touch even if I don't touch screen (from 1-2 millimeters away). It's so annoying.
Plus, it registers my nails as touch, s6 wasn't like this.
Anyone find this annoying as well?
I'm rooted, maybe there is a way to adjust it.. Please let me know if so.

I'm having the same issue. If I put the phone in my pocket with the screen on it registers touches from the fabric of my pocket. I've never had a phone register touches to that extreme. Screen is very sensitive. I keep hitting the back button also which is really easy to fix and pisses me off Samsung hasn't done it yet.
It took a few days for me to get use to the extra sensitivity vs Nexus5x. Keep using it and you won't notice after few days.
I have the regular s7 and the sensitivity is driving me nuts too. I keep bursting photos since the camera thinks I'm still pressing down when I lift my finger up. Using the phone in general makes the phone have a seizure. I hold the phone with my left hand and scroll with my right, but I can't grip the phone without the fleshy palm bit under my thumb and my fingertips touching the screen since the bezel is so thin. This makes the phone go crazy since so many parts are being touched at the same time. If I change the way I hold my phone in any way, I know I will drop the phone, especially since my hands are small.
I'm waiting for a case to be shipped to me, so hopefully that will help stop my fingertips and palms from touching the screen during general use.

I'm finding that when my thumb isn't even touching it, but just hovering over it, that it activates the back button. Also, when scrolling through pages, I've noticed ghost button presses of the back button.
The only thing I agree with here in touching the screen while gripping it.
None of the other stuff at all. Not even a tiny bit.
If you can press buttons and control the screen without touching it you are part way through your padawan training.

Capacitive buttons are OK, only screen sensitivity is too high for me. Strange.
I am having problem with my touch screen it is not sensitive enough. Any idea how to make it more sensitive?
I feel like it is way too sensitive. I can't even hold my phone in one hand without activating apps that are on the right and left sides of the screen.

Get a case, same was happening to me, the bezel is too thin along the sides of the screen, I got this one, never had the problem since
