Just got the 3g reception and its gone again. Did not face the issue with my old HTC one min, got the 2 or 3 bars. I think its due to bad reception of N5, any solution? and yes I have full 2g reception.

Sorry to start another thread about this but i've looked and searched.. I flashed Android Revolution HD last week, and I've only have been able to get 3g on my status bar since. I've tried flashing different roms to no avail. I did a quick speedtest and got 1.4 down 1.2 up. If I remember correctly you have to flash back to completely unrooted stock. ?? is this the only way ?
Maybe if you flashed a new radio it would fix it.
I tried it before and it didn't work but I just tried it again through bootloader and it's back.. weird.. 3.0 down and 1 up Thanks
Any help with this, stayed on hspa for a bit then switched to 3g.. do i have to go back to stock then re-root? Thanks in advance.

I've noticed that sometimes my connection will be 3G, then switch to H once a data session starts (many other users have reported this also, regardless of the ROM being used). Is this the case with you? I assume you normally have HSDPA (or HSPA+)? If your speeds aren't affected, I wouldn't mess with anything. If so, try and reflash the radio, as the OP tried. Give it 20 minutes or so before testing again.
No I completely lost hspa, I think my speeds dropped. Tried flashing a new radio a couple of times, tried everything. I was on 3g for a month or so. RUU'd back to stock, now its fine. Thanks though.

Hey Omario. Did you're other rom says 4g? I was a little dissapointed to find out that doesn't mean jack cause att lies about 4g. It really isn't lte.
http://www.att.com/network/?
Hit the coverage button to make sure you have it in your area?
If you do? Maybe try the lte switch app in the playstore, and mess with the APN a little more.

@grim yes I always do clean wipes
@suburadroid(or however u spell it) I know that they lie I actually enjoy seeing my signal up....but even with this I have every thing set... It just acts like I have no mobile network anymore I had to call att and have them activate lte last time this happened but that was right when I got the phone
Update : I guess for twenty mins my phone wanted to act up than start being normal again..... Thanks for the responses though!
1) I'm not from US but if I get US version of nexus 5, is the only thing not working 4G?? or is there any problem with other connections??
2) If 4G is the only thing not working ,will flashing baseband fix it?? just wondering

1. Only 4G will not work, no other connection problems.
2. That will not help, LTE bands are pre-determined (hardware) and cannot be changed.

Is your Preferred Signal on LTE/GSM (auto)? Check *#*#4636#*#* into phone.
Doesn't matter. I've tried too. It's a little better but the problem still exists. The phone fails to drop to 2G when a call is incoming.

Let's all complain at OnePlus. Something might happen. Something good too...
Any change for any of you on the new ota update
The latest color os radio has fixed the signal issue. I downloaded and installed and can confirm it fixes it. Here is the radio. Flash with fast boot

Thanks for sharing, but you might want to include the actual fastboot command that needs to be issued in your post too.

Don't think it fixes it for me its better i didnt switch to 2g on my daily commute to work which it usually would, but it still drops but not as bad
Same here too. Less troublesome after flashing the ColorOS radio.. My Moto G is leagues ahead...
Hope it's not an hardware issue

I think is my bands or antenna, so sad, but 2g and LTE worls very good.
Perhaps the 3G network has not yet been fully recovered after the hurricanes?
