Hi everyone,
Does anyone have a custom ROM installed on his Cloudmobile? I would really like to have Cyanogenmod 10.1 installed on my phone. Or at least 10.0
The supported device list doesn't show my phone tough...
My phone is rooted now, and the program i've used is Acer Tool S500 0.3a
In the menu of that program is an option to unlock the bootloader, so i think it would be possible to install custom ROM's.
Thanks in advance for all the information!
no one cares about us haha
Heres a build but gps doesnt work and seems to reboot randomly :/ other than that its a great rom SOOO many options. Kind of upsets me that i cannot use it indefinitely. This is a great phone though, honestly can go against the nexus 4, install this rom and youll see how quick it can go.

Indeed, the hardware is the best value for money you can get, with Cyanogenmod it would be the best, i've found that ROM also , but the random reboots bother me...

Thank you so much!!
You seem like you know what your doing so I have a crazy question you might be able to answer
I have recently bought a xperia z2 tablet (SGP511 - 17.1.2.A.0.314) that came with 4.4 kitkat. Do you think it would be possible to put 4.3 on that and if so would you know which one would it have to be?

Thank you
My first android experience was my xperia m2. With a bit of playing about I rooted it (using towelroot), installed super user, xposed, donkey guard and a bunch of other modules. As you can imagine for someone who is a novice and has no clue about coding, flashing, roms, ftf's, bootloaders, fastboots, anything like that. So I was quite pleased with myself that I could block permissons with donkey guard, and the look of my phone with gravity etc....
All was going well when I kept getting a "You have a system update" message telling me that a system update to 4.4 is now availible. So I allow it to install but it wouldn't work. So I figured that its because the phone is rooted, so I did a factory reinstall, flash whateveryou call it using sony pc companion. Once finished I tried to root again using towelroot but that didn't work, so I hunted all over the net to find a way of routing the m2 with 4.4 but wanted to avoid unlocking the bootloader as everything pointed towards that not being a good idea if you don't know what your doing. Nothing that I have found so far I can understand. So thats why I am wanting my old 4.3 back. I Was happy with it, but when I use pc companion to flash, it keeps putting the latest 4.4 software on.
As far as the tablet goes, I bought it a few weeks ago and as you know they come with 4.4 as standard. i quickly found a 1 click root method, rooted the tablet the installed superuser, busybox, then xposed and donkey guard etc.
I activated donkey guard and other modules in xposed and restarted etc.
I found that donkey guard would not work, nor would most of the other modules. One more thing that I found was that whenever I would shut down the tablet it would boot straight back up again and had to use the force off button next to the sd card to turn it off. So I flashed it again and went through the whole procedure again thinking that maybe I hade done something wrong, but got the same result. I did find out though through ellimination that the shut down issue was being caused by donkey guard being active, so if I deactivated it in xposed no more reboots. I thought that theproblem was with donkey guard and went though the donkey guard forum, but later dicovered that other modules are not working too. So I am not sure if the problems the tablet, 4.4 software, xposed, or something totally different, but all I know is that I was happy when everything worked on the m2 with 4.3, hence why the downgrade (if I can do it) of the M2 and not sure what the hell to do with the tablet.

I can't help you with your tablet.
For your phone download 4.3 CE as recommended above, it's a good one. I did that a couple of weeks ago and I will be sticking to it. The main disadvantage is the 4.3 camera.
Get xperifirm. Download any rom you like for your phone to your hearts content. It's really very easy.
Secondly, regarding root for 4.4, has anyone tried rooting on 4.3 then just letting update centre update the phone ota? It has worked for me on every Xperia I've had.

Oh god guys!
It's going to hell!!! Why I decided to update from 8.0 to 8.9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying::crying::crying:
Firstly I just made an update - I couldn't sign in to Google Acount! NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!! :crying:
Then I decided to make full wipe, clean install.... now I can sign in in google account, but!!!!!!!!!!!! but SU doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's wrong with this rom? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Man there should be a best of XDA. Cause for a first post this qualifies for the hall of shame.
Nothing is wrong with the ROM. I've flashed it dozens of times and never lost root or access to any of my accounts.

because he did a wipe and forgot to turn root on again in settings.
No issues.... But lots of icons.
Everything seems to be working on for me. Had a bit of a hard time getting it loaded but once I did it booted up.
I got a lot of icons going on up in the top right. LTE always showing. location always on and WiFi has the exclamation point but it's all working.
Why do i keep getting can't update device message? Someone please explain

What recovery? It's probably a recovery message about the update-binary being out of date, If so, it doesn't affect anything. It's just a warning.

Nexus 4 with slimkat receiving OTA update?
Hello,

I have a Nexus 4 with slimkat 4.4.4 and I just received a notification to download lollipop by google.
Is it normal? If I do the download, what would happen?
Really hope you can help me because I though I wouldn't receive more OTA updates since my custom rom.
Thank you all!

I think your gonna be stuck to Lollipop!! Dont know about the root.....
But i thinks it weird that you receive OTA with a Custom Rom.
Just downloaded Slim LP Alpha build (sorry i checked only nexus 5) so be patience!!
You can also download Lollipop en maybe root again until Slim LP is ready
helpp
Hey guys great rom it's running soo smooth awesome job on the latest lollipop alpha but there's only one thing I found that irritates me. When I charge my phone when it's powered off it always goes to recovery (twrp) About 15 seconds after showing the battery icon it just jumps straight to recovery...why??? Does not having the latest bootloader have anything to do with it cuz I don't have the latest lollipop one but I'm up to date with everything else like twrp, radio, supersu, gapps, etc . Or could it be the rom being in early stages and all...?
Dialer fc on alpha 0.6
Im facing dialer fc on 0.6 alpha
I have clean flashed and have tried to clear the dialer data in settings.
But nothing seems to have fixed this issue.

HI guys, I have alredy installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 everything looks very good, but when I tried to open camera I see just black screen when I try to use "selfie" cam app crash with info app not found camera
I tried app which check if camera is OK and everything looks good, app get info about camera HW but somewhere in SW is problem ...
I seen some scripts to root phone will fix this problem at stock firmware, but It bricks my phone when I tried it install on CM version.
Camera is not so much important for me but familly sometimes like when I take a photo ... now they asking why I cant
sorry for my bad english
So ... I just wana ask .. is there any solution for this ? or whatever what could help me in investigation to fix this ?
I rly enjoying CM 12 but without camera I feel like a driving 3 wheels car ...
Camera stop work after CM install, unlock bootloader so I dont think this is HW caused.

Today I return everything to original stock ROM and it work like before, but thats not solution
If anyone get idea pls tell us

Relocking the bootloader works for me. This isn't related to the Cyanogen image either. It will happen with stock ROM if the bootloader is unlocked. I never figured out why.
