I'm running the Gnabo V6 on my rooted Note 10.1 and notice that System Data is over 5GB!! Is this normal and if not what can I do to reduce it because I haven't got that much on the Note 10.1 in terms of music photos etc. and from 12GB of free space only have about 3GB free!!
Thanks

Hi,I've got some problem with taken movies. Recorded videos on my LG O3D dont go smooth. Doesnt matter do I record video on internal or external SD videos dont go smooth. here you can see how does it works>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=688IB2t0YFA
does anyone have similary issue?
I have only tried filming 3D footage but on that I had occasional stuttering though nothing as noticeable as you are experiencing.
There are two probable causes. If you are recording, as I do, to an external SD card check what class it is as for HD recording you really need a class 6 or better card (the higher the class the higher its writing speed, basically).
A second cause is if you have a number of apps or services running in the background as this could eat up your phones 512 Mb memory. You can check this by going to the settings menu and in the applications section see what is running, kill things you don't need and then record another video and see if it helps.

I've got 10 class memory card installed in phone.Problem still exist when I record videos on internal memory, however on clear, new rom I didn't noticed any lag. If more apps I have videos are less smooth. Now I've got 244app and 50MB free RAM. Propably that is proof that this phone has not got enough RAM.
sent from LG OPTIMUS 3D
Well it's not your sd card then
Surprised you only have 50 Mb ram free, I have lots of apps I have downloaded and usually have between 100 and 150 Mb free even with a number of those working in the background. Have you tried force closing the ones you don't need running and then recording to see if that helps?
As for 512 Mb ram I agree it should have been more, 1 Gigabyte would have been great, it would make the phone so much more enjoyable but aside from a couple of HD games not wanting to run I haven't had any problems caused by lack of memory so it is fine for now but I can see it becoming an issue for some as some high end games can eat up that much memory now.

Same issue in videos.... optimus 3d seems to be a very lagging phone :\
Videos lose smoothness even if you record on internal memory (fortunately not often).
For now it seems I resolved installing the AcuraTeam rom, which lets you record smoother videos, even on a class 4 SD card.
I suppose the problem is the stock LG kernel...
Hey guys,
I have a query about the file-size of apps from moving them from the internal storage to the USB storage. How come it increases in size?
For instance, take Angry Birds Star Wars
When it's in internal memory (Move to Phone) , it's 48mb
When it's in USB Storage, the total filesize is 51.18mb
That's not a big difference, sure.
But when I transfer small file-sizes, it increases big-time.
For instance, take Camera ZOOM FX Composites,
It's filesize on internal memory is only 368KB, but when I move it to USB storage, it increases to 2.07mb, that's a increase of almost 500% file-size. Can anyone explain why?
Thanks for your help guys
my Galaxy J7 J700M uses a lot of RAM, especially with MarshMallow ROMs (Touchwiz)
i cleared ram, played a game with xmod (app for modding games) + screen recorder, ram started using 60% but after about 15 minutes ram is 90%+... They had no problems until it LowMemoryKIller closed screen recorder and xmodgames, after some minutes my game is to slow and was closed for lack of ram. so no ram free!
any tweak, buid.prop code, kernel or optimized touchwiz rom for multitask and little memory consumption? cyanogenmod discarding obviously because the camera does not work and has very low performance
sorry for my bad english. thanks :good:
Hello, I have not used my Note PRO 12.2 for almost year as I switched to iPhone. Now, I need to use it again due to its large screen size and S-Pen. When I quickly scrolled through the photos in the Camera app, I saw grid of grey boxes and they were slowly replaced by the photos/videos I took. Is there a way to speed up the preview? If so, will the increased performance be noticeable? I am using a SanDisk Ultra 64GB Micro S XC I card. Thanks
There is. It's an app called Quickpic, which is significantly better than the stock app.
Also, the Camera app really isn't meant as a gallery app. There's a gallery app for that, but Quickpic is better.
Thanks ShadowLea. It is much faster than before but I still see each photo/video showing up sequentially. How come the iPhone 6s Plus can preview the photos/videos instantly?
I watched various YouTube videos to optimize fingerprint recognition, and I noticed that my software uses 123 MB of memory, in the videos it is not even 1 MB (see pictures).
Is that the same with your A41? How can I reduce the used storage space ?

Custom rom

But other Samsung A41 Users with the Stock Rom do not have this high storage use.
I am not familiar with Custom Rom and I do not want to lose the warranty.
Is there no other option for a solution ?
