From the Play Store description:
-Especially not working on the LG G3 unless you are using a custom (AOSP) ROM.

Well there you go. So basically LG put some voodoo on this phone so RomToolbox, softkeys, and anything else is dysfunctional.

Xstana, an xposed module, is working and you can choose custom image with donate version

Your using exposed? With no recovery I worry I'll mess up Rom and have no recourse.,,,or is there something I don't know

You can use G3 TWEAKSBOX which is safe to use. There are plenty of navigation bar themes you can already use. Just read the FAQ in its thread.

i cant identify any launcher ...and there is no trace of custome rom. I have just got it few hours back and every thing is running smoothly
Hi,
Have you an app named SoftkeyZ?
Or maybe an Xposed module? Take a look in your app drawer for Xposed something...
It's not an "issue", there is something installed that modifie the look of your soft buttons.
if it's rooted you can use softkeyz from the play store though it's a paid app... or just flash the factory image (not sure if just factory resetting will fix it).

as an experiment, completely remove xposed, reboot, and try. chances are that it is xposed itself causing the issue. if its still not working, we will go further after. but with xposed still installed, thats all the help youll get from me.

Do you have "Unknown Sources" checked under the security settings. It should prompt you if you don't but just in case, check that.
I've got the same problem. I can't install apk's since I'm using the latest stock 4.4.3 update. I've never rooted my phone or whatsoever. I can't seem to find a solution for it

I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't be able to install apks. Even on stock and no root, I am fairly sure you are able to.
Check this out. . We discovered this in the Paranoid Android Community the other day.
If you have Echo Notifications Lockscreen installed, whether you have it activated or not, it disables installation of apks and the OK button on certain other dialogs. I went nuts trying to figure out what happened...

Maybe is not the thread to ask, but seeing that you have XPOSED working already, I wanted to know, how most of usual XPOSED mods are working for you? GravityBox and Tinted Statusbard for example, how are they working on your G3? I'm really used to them on my Nexus 5 and since I will probably get a G3 when an Internarional version is released in US I'm really interested in your answers!
Thanks!

gravitybox is working excellently , all my mods i used on the htc one m7 are running without issues. I cant say i ever used " Tinted Statusbard " before, but xposed misc modules / downloads searches works as you would expect, run the root method above, install xposed, and enjoy.
the one caveat i guess i should mention is that no custom recovery / backup has been run. So, install at your own risk,

I don't have a G3 yet so I guess by the time I get one there will be a custom recovery that works.

Hi guy's
I just got my G3 yesterday and I want to root it but it's still currently on 4.4.2. Do you think it's worth just waiting for 4.4.4 and then rooting?
I can root using towelroot but it's not still possible to install a custom recovery... right?

What does ''untethered root'' means?
I have three questions to you guys who already rooted the G3 with towelroot:
Does a factory reset unroot the G3 again and makes possible to install OTA Updates again? How can I perfom the factroy reset without a custom recovery? Do I have to install SuperSU (or something equivalent) after using towelroot?

Did you try Gravity Box? I know the dev recently added (within the last couple months) compatibility with the Dual SIM Moto G. I can remove it on my Moto G 4G LTE.

From your screenshots, it doesn't look like you are running stock. Are you running a custom ROM? If so, that would explain why GB isn't fully functional. It is only designed to work with stock Android AOSP (and the Dual SIM Moto G stock ROM).

Strongly recommend Pixel Flasher. Made rooting a piece of piss, once you have downloaded the factory image and pointed the app to it, everything is done with a couple of button presses.
