This is from my Desire 600 in Thailand. GPS is working perfectly with this original rom
It is in CWM Backup format. (There's error when I tried to clone rom into flashable zip with CWM)
My upload is for those who looking for stock rom for CID 044 to get their GPS to work
My device had no GPS signal after flashing any custom roms from Russia like of SPSPaWn or 911-master

But the original rom has very low performance and unbearable. Is possible to solved GPS with custom rom for my device.
I've tried to find what missing between Thai rom and Russian rom and once copied some GPS lib for the original rom to custom rom but it doesn't work.

How do i clone my rom before installing a new rom
as i understand the procedure is
1. backup all the data in the memory (how do i do this and with which SW )
2. clone the ROM (how do i do this? )
3. flash the rom (how?)
4. install the new rom (how?)
5.check for application problems if there are problems i whish to revert to my old ROM (how?)

You can find the Touch HD's stock ROM's in the ROM section, no real need to back up. You can even get it off of HTC's website

main problem is custom recovery cant open/flash them they say bad zip or ROM
& orig. recovery match signature for phone - ROM
if any custom recovery can flash orig. ROM please tell me or how to extract orig. ROM

I`ve use revolutionary,CWM 5.0, than Revolution HD Rom, Nanodroid itd... S-off ofc
I`ve used Nanodroid and I have my system.img; recovery.img; data;cache; etc
I have some stock ROM with TMobile custom from Germany and I cant find RUU (exatly the same) on www :-(
I easily restore my system.img and I go back from REVOL to my stock ROM, but i really need to restore my stock recovery... and lose CWM 5.0 so i can bring phone back....
so big Q...How to do it without using RUU.exe ?
I have a Rogers HTC One X (HBoot 2.14, software v. 3.17.631.2) and am looking to get 4.2.x so I can use DashClock. Unfortunately have found flashing specific ROMs will not work (though I can flash them and boot them the touch screen will not work). I looked around and found others had the same problem. However, the provided kernel doesn't seem to work with my device. I understand that this seems to only work with SENSE based ROMs.
I've even tried repacking the boot.img of the ROMs with the stock boot.img (through online and downloaded repackers) to no avail.
ROMs I've tried include :
CM 10.1 (touchscreen wouldn't work - realized it wasn't compatible after)
PACman (touchscreen wouldn't work)
AOKP (touchscreen wouldn't work)
I've tried them all using their own boot.img as well as the stock boot.img as well as a repack of the two. The only ROM I've managed to get working so far is ViperXL which makes sense as it's a SENSE based ROM. Does anybody know of a kernel that will allow these 4.2.x ROMs to work with the new touch drivers HTC included with the 3.17.xxx.x update? Or rather, is there a 3.17.xxx.x based ROM that can give the One X/XL 4.2.x JB ?
Alternatively, is it possible to somehow get DashClock to work with 4.1.1?
I'm owner of HTC Desire SV. And we have 'Sense 4.1', BUT, its very... lite version.
Now we considering to compile own custom fw. And, we trying to 'port' Full Sense 4.1 in our custom firmware.
We have (htcdev) unlocked bootloader, S-OFF on unique device, custom CWM recovery v 6.0.2.8 with some screen issue flashed on it.
Root is 'working' untill restart, but we can "flash" some custom zip with install-script to take some deep system manipulation under recovery.
And we stuck with searching full Sense 4... to include in custom fw.
Can we 'cut' some apk from other full sense 4 rom to put them in, and where we can get list of those apk-file needed.
Can you suggest the best way to do it.
