Play Store Issue - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys, after a bit of tuning and cleaning my Play store App doesn't work anymore. At first i deleted the Google Play Services and in my opinion that was the reason but now i reinstalled it and the Play store too but everytime i click on "Install" on any app it crashes. After that i have to wipe the cache and the data of the Store/Service to be able to open it again. I can navigate fine but i cannot download/install anything, any clue?
EDIT: TLDR

Anyone? I'm about to cry IRL after all the efforts i did to optimize it.: crying:

Don't feel bad, I've had to completely reflash at least 15 times today so far.

[Q] Cancelling update for one speficif app?

Hi folks,
While tweaking my phone I accidentally clicked Google Hindu Input on Keyboard & Language section. Even though I unclicked it afterwards, Google Play wants to update it (I manually update my apps). I disable the Input notifications from Apps menu, but it is still shown up under Google Play "update your apps" menu. I installed and uninstalled it, yet to no avail. Is there any way to unlink my connection with it?
I'm using rooted Nexus 5.
I had the same problem, all you have to do is go to Settings>Apps>All>Google Hindu Input>Disable
And that should do the trick!
P.S. it should look like the picture after all said and done..
Sent from Google Nexus 5, the best freaking phone ever!

Thanks for the reply. I did it first, but it said it could affect other apps performances as well, as it is a part of system apps. So, I think I need to give it a try again. Thanks.

Also found that Titanium Backup has bunch of market related functions. I'm a noob to the app, but if I find anything to solve my problem, I'll post it here.

[Q] Websites forcing app install directly from Play store

Hi everyone,
I had a headache yesterday with an app called Zombie tsunami, from time to time it started downloading directly from the Play store without even asking me, I had to clear Chrome data to get rid of it, maybe some javascript, that started this process automatically, clearing cache wasn't enough... I don't remember the website I browsed, but it really suck, I have a Nexus 4 on 4.4.2 Stock.
Did anyone else had a problem like that?
Is there a way to prevent this?

Uninstall the application! Or change "permissions" or use a "firewall" to block internet access.
I did it

I did that, but after I uninstalled, once in a while it started downloading and the notification icon appear, I noticed some sites were showing a confirm dialog to download mobogenie, and this zombie tsunami is also from a mobogenie company.

I think without further information on the exact error message etc, no one will know what Problem you have.
Plesse be more precise.
Data connection issues may also depend on the policy of the service provider. Difficult to say without further information.
O its solved now... Thnx

I'm on lineage 14.1, but without gapps. I'm using microg instead. For me it's pretty stable, seldom reboots are necessary cause sometimes the phone mic is off, which is restored after rebooting.
However, I don't play any games, cannot tell if it's suitable. On the other Hand, for high end games you would need a faster device, wouldn't you?

Yes, I'm using NewPipe for YouTube access. Available in the f-droid store. Very low foot-print apps without any ads, open source.
It seems to me that the ads and license management stuff etc from the typical Google APP store is quite hungry in terms of code size...

Clear all cache

Hi guys
In the previous Android versions it was possible by a single click to clear all the cache of all the apps.
This option is not available anymore and no app that I'm aware of in the Playstore could clear this cache.
Even the option from the recovery does not clean this cache.
Does anyone of you know a "magic" way of cleaning this cache?
I'm not rooted and all stock.
Thank you
I use Nox Cleaner from the play store sometimes.
If it wasn't run for a while there's usually a lot to clear.
Check that one out and see if it does what you're talking about.
There are no ads, popups or any crap like that.
4.8 rating from almost 400k reviews.

Thanks for your answer, man, but, as all the apps of its kind, it identifies VERY WELL the cache, junks and all (thumbnails, adds, etc).... but it does NOT delete them AT All.
It's the n-st app I installed of this kind and all of them have the same behavior, unfortunately...

Damn that sucks then... If you do find one let me know.
Maybe there is a Magisk or Xposed module if you decide to do that way in the future.

I've been rooted on Nexus 5 and Nexus 6, but for OP6 I've decided to stay unrooted until I understand how this system of double partition (A and B) works
