So i've made several watchfaces for my Pebble and my Gear, and as soon as i saw the Stock Quick Circle Watchfaces, i knew i wanted to make some. I've downloaded the LG SDK and am working on making my own faces. But for starters i wanted to modify the stock faces in Photoshop. So i thought i would share my progress
1st i had to find where the clocks are stored,
system/priv-app/LGAlarmClock.apk
open LGAlarmClock.apk in 7zip, and navigate to res/raw-xxxhdpi
now pick your stock watchface background that you want to modify.
I chose the black one. And since I'm a Louis Hamilton fan, i chose to drop in the Mercedes Petronas F1 team.

after you replace the stock .PNG file with the modified file. Use ES File Explorer, or any other Rooted file browser that lets you set individual permissions. Drop LGAlarmClock.apk back in sysem/priv-app. Change the permissions for the .apk from rw-rw-r, to rw-r-r, Reboot.

You must install apk and click in modules in your xposed app and then reboot your phone. Your installed watchface has replaced your second standard watchface

Hello everyone, first of all this is 90% not my work I found this in the Droid Eris section made by ihtfp69. I love the Vanilla lock screen on my Evo but I didn't like the transparency. This Metamorph will remove the transparency and add my personal android image as a background. I included a screen shot below. If you don't like the image I use just replace the image in the AndroidThemes directory on your sdcard after you extract it and it will use that image. Make sure it is 800×480 otherwise it will stretch.

What all ROMs would this work on ? Would this work on Baked Snack ?
Thanks for your efforts
This should work on any 2.1 rom that is using the vanilla lock screen. I would make a nandroid backup to be safe. If you try it on another rom let me know and I'll update what it works with.

Cool..how about a rotary version? Also do you have the ability to switch the sliders and make a 'left handed version' where the unlock and mute sliders switch sides? That would blow my mind!

I agree that would be nice to have that type of control but I wouldn't know how to do so. If you find out let me know. All this does is change the background image from being 100% trans to showing an image. Pretty simple stuff and again I didn't do anything other than create the image and corrected it for the Evo.

Sorry about the delayed response. The Android Themes folder I'm talking about is made by the theming app metamorph. It will be in the root of your sdcard. Once in that folder look for another folder that has the same name as the zip in my first post. If you look around in those folders you'll find what you are looking for.
Dose this lock screen allow you to use the audio player when locked?
I tried to click on the link but it says page cannot be found... any new links for vanilla lock screen?? PM me if there is

Real Honeycomb Clock hasn't come out yet but who cares, we have a replicate!
ALMOST FORGOT! Circles Rotate Every Minute
I Found out that there is an app (free and paid) on market which is really similar to my work and also totally different app. I replicated the theme based on Youtube videos and images from Android 3.0 demo. That means those images belong to Google. Honeycomb clock will be out soon and it's gonna be free why should anyone pay for it!!!
If you like the other dev's work (his name is juliojs) go ahead and download it on market. I don't really care. I'm only sharing this with my community.

I'm not sure if this is not compatible with CM nightly or not. I havent heard anyone else having same issue. But let's try this:
Goto settings application manager and clear data in Clock app, uninstall the honeycomb clock, restart, install again. I think CM is using gingerbread? this app is for froyo. Are you familiar with adb?
Yeah, still doesn't work. The clock works when I open it from the app drawer but it keeps force closing if I try from the widget.
As for adb, I only know enough to push stuff..

Ok. Push the app like this but first let's make a backup of ur original one.
adb remount
adb pull /system/app/DeskClock.apk path/to/your/destination/folder
(i hope this is right name for the app)
now push the new one:
adb push path/to/honeycombclock /system/app
adb reboot recovery
wipe cache n dalvic cache in recovery
reboot

Yup, no go. I tried that and I get a FC for the Honeycomb style clock process straight on boot-up. After that I get just a black screen tapping the widget.
Seems like the alarm app is not working well in Gingerbread.

Update: I made different Versions for Different DPI Settings.
I modded the SMemo so that it can be used with 200/220/240/260 DPI Setting without having that ugly lines. Most of the Backgrouds should be useable
OG App was taken from the Angelrom 1.0
How to Install:
Backup your SMemo.apk from /system/app
Edit the File Name to SMemo.apk
Copy the File to /system/app
Optional: reboot

tried it, looks pretty good so far thanks.
one question though, how'd you mod the smemo apk and make the mod stick? i was changing some png's inside using 7zip, nothing else, and just pushing the apk back to the system apps folder but my modifications do not reflect. am i missing a step here?
Works good for the notes that are made from within the smemo application.
However still the same for notes that are made by opening a new note by tapping the screen twice with the pen

Yes. The background is back to normal when i edit the mininote. However wish it happened by default.
Gonna check it over the weekend. Wanna try and make versions for other Densitys like 200 220.
i tried , but no change with sheep rom..
i found that the file is obly 17k or so while the original is 14mb.. this could be why?

thanks I'm at 240dpi and your work is much appreciated
But I think that the work is not entirely finished..
As you can see, in some (3) wallpaper, there are still 5 brown lines
Maybe it's ok to 260, but you could fix for the 240 density
also a correct mini-notes would be much appreciated (SMemoLite.apk)
Can someone be so kind as to post the original s-memo apk (without density change) for me? I lost one of the default images--the building one--by accidentally deleting it but I like it a lot. Many thanks in advance.

Did you follow these instructions? That thread has the widget you want..
Instructions:
1, Download the required apk file and copy them to your sd card.
2, Use a root explorer tool and browse to the system/app folder. Mount the folder as r/w
3, Rename the apps, for ex., AccuweatherWidget.apk to AccuweatherWidget.apkbak
4, Copy Paste the transparent apk files to this folder and set permissions to rw -r -r. Reboot the phone
5, The widgets can now be used. Please make sure that these widgets are not there on the homescreens before replacing to avoid FCs.

This is the info about my rom
Ok, just read that your ROM uses Philz kernel (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF YOUR ROM). Check that to be sure..! If not, then just flash a safe kernel...
Now, make a backup of your stuff and do a factory reset..

not sure if you need all of them in system/app 644 permissions for all
think i got them from Alliance rom but may have been either xxlsc or xxls2 version (either way it does not matter they work)..if these do not work advice is to get it from one of those roms..i will try to get you the individual files from those roms but will have to be almost like 14 hrs later as need to be off to work
and these...
