[Q] Xposed Framework removes my ROOT!

I've restored all my user apps from titanium back up and was losing root. I figured out it was Xposed Framework as soon as i activate framework and reboot I'd tryed to check for root access with "Root Checker" and other root apps but nothing. I tried re-rooting again multiple ways i.e CF Auto Root, Root through Device recover such as CWM and TWRP but nothing. The app SuperSU wont even show up so i downloaded it from the playstore and it says su binary falied to update/install. I tried to update the binary and it fails to update. My ONLY solution to gain access to root again is to wipe the system COMPLETEY through custom recovery and use a back with root. But NO Xposed Framework becuase as soon as i run it and reboot i loose root access, PLEASE if anyone what was is that im doing wrong HELP a brother out, BTW im using the latest version of Xposed Framework as of this date.

I did uninstall xposed framework and rerooted thats how i found Xposed Framework was the culprit. Any other suggestion.??????????
This **** just happened to me bruh like i kept on trying to use towelroot and it will say success but when i go to root checker it says my device isnt rooted so i just uninstalled xposed framework and im going to try and root again dis **** better work.
I fixed this issue, my problem was a was restoring xposed framework from titanium backup which kept on messing things up somehow. So what i dis i wiped my phone COMPLETELY and flashed the stock rom again. I then re-rooted my pjone and installed Xopsed Framework from the website instead of via Titanium Backup and all is well now.

xposed on stock cm13?

Can we install xposed on the stock rooted cm13 nightly on this phone? Or do we have to install another ROM? This phone confuses me how its already rooted but there are still guides on how to root it.... and yes I have twrp.
yes you can use xposed on official cm13.. but be aware of the modules.. some are still not compatible with 6.0 and result in a bootloop

Two steps
Download and install this file as an apk
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440
Download and flash this file from your custom recovery like TWRP
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3543418&d=1447616689
Now, you can install the supported list of xposed modules

Xposed framework doesn't work on my OnePlus One OPO

Hi, I'm not new in flashing and rooting but this time, after root, trying to flash xposed I obtain, or a bootloop if flashed from recovery or and error if installed by application.
I'm working on OPO with the last stock ROM and with:
Twrp 3.1.0-0.bacon
Xposed-v87-sdk23-arm.zip
Before of this flashing I had xposed installed yet but I removed it to bypass some detection from some app.
Now it is impossible to restore it.
Error in the xposed app is: MV: can't rename '/system/bin/ app_process32': device or resource busy Error 1 occurred
What to do?

You need to uninstall xposed app, then flash xposed.zip then install xposed app.
Use systemless xposed for roms which do not support xposed/bootloops.
Thanks
Thanks very much, I solved using systemless exposed!!!

Hi, are you still receiving OTA with rooted and Xposed installed?
It seems TWRP disables OTA
I don't mind stock recovery, just need Xposed and OTA
Also, Magisk is optional for me. Don't really need it now

You won't be able to apply OTA with root. If you perform system modification (like in this guide), you'll have to flash whole system.img before applying new OTA. With Magisk and systemless Xposed it's enough to restore stock boot from within the app to apply OTA.

Does This method still work on 2018 August security patch? Or Do I risk to brick the phone?

(XPOSED)OFFICIAL XPOSED FOR MI A1 using flashfire

Official Xposed Working perfectly,
Root your MI A1 by following this instructions
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-...pdate-t3681024
Please carefully watch these steps to root..your phone...
Then we are gone for xposed..
Download the xposed installer.zip
http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk25/arm64/
Flash the zip file using Flashfire app...then install,
XposedInstaller_3.1.2.apk
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Not working.
It's working perfectly...
Screenshot prof...
is this module works for you?
they say it works for Nougat too
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-fingerprint-enabler-t3411066
when screen is locked by third party app (some launcher, 3rd party tile, etc) fingerprint on Mi A1 cannot unlock the phone.
that module enables that.
Tried as you wrote: flashed the xposed zip file using flashfire -> reboot -> xposed framework wasn't installed.
Then I tried to install xposed framework using the xposed app -> worked
=> Just install xposed installer apk and install xposed framework using the app.
Edit: I forgot that there was this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/how-to/install-xposed-flashfire-recovery-t3685713
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-...pdate-t3681024
link not working
its worked used xposed installer v3.1.2
gavitybox work fine too....
Yup gravity box works very well. Pleased with the way development is happening & being an AOSP we will get our fair share.
thanks for sharing~

This is the answer to all having magisk and trying to get Xposed
I just did the following procedure:
flashed official rom with miflash,
booted to rom,
intalled second october OTA update (75mb),
booted twrp with "fastboot boot recovery.img",
and then:
installed magisk 14.4
installed magisk manager,
installed systemless xposed module from within magisk manager,
and finally installed material design xposed installer
(with reboot between each step)
and finally i have magisk root and working xposed.
If i select magisk core only mode (witch disables magisk modules) it passes safetynet and theoretically i can install OTA updates (i think xposed -systemless or not- does not pass safetynet)
