That supports the "MHL Standard". Will the slimport adapter work with the Nexus5 and allow it to display on the head unit?

I have the iGrip in my car for the Thunderbolt and I have it mounted using my old Proclip mount for my iPhone and its working well, overall.
I had hoped to use it like I did my iPhone with a video out connected to my Pioneer Avic headunit, but of course an MHL Adapter connected to the dock only works with the power and has no video out (no HDMI is detected by the OS).
Anyone know of a Car Dock that may support this or any way to mod the iGrip???
how are you planning to get video out to your headunit. You planning to convert the signal to composite or something

I'm looking for a USB cable that can trigger the car dock feature and have audio out working.

Would it be because my head unit is made for an iPod/iPhone, or should it be able to work?
for a new car stereo i purchased it suggests for mirror link i need to buy a cable which cost around 40£
i am wondering cant i just buy a cheap alternative? or will it not work

I have a 2008 Honda CRV EX-L and I wanted a touch screen display but didn't want to spend the money on a new head unit. So I decided to use an old single DIN Pioneer head unit with a double DIN dash kit and my Tab 4 7.0 (T237P) as my touch screen.
Materials used:
1) Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (T237P)
2) Pioneer DEH-3200U
3) Honda Radio Harness Metra 70-1722
4) Scosche HAAB Honda Antenna Adapter Plug
5) Metra Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Interface
6) Car Charger DC Converter Module 12V To 5V 3A 15W with USB Cable to charge the tablet and power the Metra Axxess ASWC-1
7) USB Aux Bluetooth Adapter for audio to Pioneer DEH-3200U
8) USB Female Y Splitter to power the tablet and USB bluetooth adapter
9) Wire Taps so I can keep the factory harness in case I decide to install the factory radio again
10) thin heavy stock cardboard from binder and black t-shirt to cover the Pioneer DEH-3200U and to have something for the tablet to rest on

Update: v2.0 includes phone (Note 3) mount as well as the tablet mount, this way I can either use the tablet or my phone.

Sorry to bother u mate, i havent gone through all the forum and i wanted to ask, is there a standalone rom tht i can just flash to an android tablet to perfom the in dash car audio, i mean jst like those android head units?
Hi, I have a Erisin ES6970U 7" HU
Rickchip rk3368 PX5
Android 10.
The unit is advertised as having 2x video outputs.
Now after speaking to there customer service it turns out I need to spend another £60 to buy there TV box then they will work. They will then only work as TV outputs which is no good to me as I want the video from my USB stick to out put to my rear screen.
Also the aux inputs don't work either. No idea why.
I am wondering is there a firmware update/ ROM/ APP or anything to make this stuff work expecially the aux audio input.
