[Q] Custom Recovery D850 - AT&T LG G3

Hi all,
I was wondering if it is possible to install a custom recovery on the LG G3 AT&T 32Gb D850 from the download mode.
If there is, can someone please tellme how and where can i download the tools/files needed to do it?

Not yet. Dev's are working on a way to unlock the bootloader, until then you can't install a custom recovery.

There doesn't appear to be any custom roms for your device that I could find. You may need to build your own. You can learn about development here

[Q] TWRP and lollipop

Hello guys,
So, a while ago, I bought my moto g xt1032, I bought a used one, it is rooted, and also has TWRP installed as recovery, I wanted to update my phone to Lollipop 5.0.2 and when I tried it would always go into TWRP menu. I really want to get rid of this and update to the newest software!
Can someone help me? I'm really desperate and I don't want to do anything I'm not sure, so I would rather ask here on what to do due to my inexperience.

The first question is since you have root did you modify the system? If you haven't you can unroot and just flash the original recovery but the cleanest way is to backup your data and then flash 4.4.4 all over and then download lollipop and install it normal
You need to replace TWRP with stock recovery and unroot.

It is the same recovery.img which is available in the fastboot firmware, I wonder why aren't you able to get it.

LG G3 D850 5.0.1 lollipop software version D85020f secure boot error

Hey guys i have a lg g3 d850 on lollipop i keep getting boot secure error: failed, trying to install a custom recovery, the phone is already rooted, just need to install the custom recovery twrp , i need you guys help please, im trying really hard, can anyone give me a simple solution please?
