I know right...! Stupid $ony.... screw over all your LiveView users
No it's a successful marketing plan... forcing Liveveiw users to buy a modern xperia phone with ICS OS
It wouldn't work for me with my SmartWatch anyway, didn't even show the SmartWatch app as installed. I reverted to Liveware Manager 3.3.10.
No for me too!
I installed SmartConnect and now I can't see my LiveView in the devices! Also when I try to create an event and when I try to 'add a bluetooth device' I see my LiveView as a paired device, but cannot add it!
Even though the LiveView works through 'LiveView' app, I can't install any plugins!
When I did my check over the internet, the Sony people are saying that it works for LiveView!
Cheers!

[Q] Xperia L not found in google's device list

As here, https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1727131#S
our device is not in supported device list. Why this ?!
Because someone didn't add it to the list. It's clear the device works with the Play Store, or else no one could install apps.

[Q] No button for Options

Hi,
I recently purchased Sony Xperia M2 and noticed that it doesn't have a button for "option"
which generally is there in phone of samsung etc
The problem due to this is that some apps doesn't have a interface which has option written somewhere and they rely on phones to go to options. Example of such app is -
Happy B'day! Birthday Reminder on google play store
is there any possible way through which we can go to options ?
Thanks
Amtoj

[F3111][33.2.A.4.70] How do I get the manufacturer of Sony on Google moved?

I have modified the original Firmware of Sony meanwhile so the nearly even Google Apps are used. Only the Sony camera App and a part of the settings App has survived. Now the whole one is almost already like on the Google pixel. I only don't get Google mAssistant to work because i can't change it in Build.prop to Google. Every other App detects Sony as Manufacturer. Does somebody know by chance what file I must edit to get the device like on Google Pixel???

Sony Xperia 5ii and Huawei health app - urgent

Bought wife a gt3 watch for Xmas.
Downloaded the app from Google play and then performed the update from within the app.
The app then scans for devices and finds the watch.
When you click on pair/link in the devices page, the screen flashes as if it's opening a window within the app, and a little x button appears for a split second in the top left of the screen.
Then nothing happens.
I've got a very grumpy wife on Xmas day, and I'm not very happy having spent a small fortune on something that should work easily and then doesn't.
It works fine on my realme x50 pro, but her Sony Xperia 5ii is just not having it.
Any help would be amazing
For those that may be interested, because of Google's fall out with Huawei, the health app doesn't work straight out of the box and connecting to a Huawei device is a pain.
The work around is you have to download the Huawei app store, then download the HMS core app, then download the Huawei health app.
Once in the app, check for updates,
Once you have done all this you can finally pair the phone and it works quite well.
It's a bit of a palava and Huawei could do much better in making these steps clearer,
Only thing I need to work out now is how to get the stress monitor working on the Huawei gt3 watch.
