[Q] Xperia L not found in google's device list - Sony Xperia L

As here, https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1727131#S
our device is not in supported device list. Why this ?!

Because someone didn't add it to the list. It's clear the device works with the Play Store, or else no one could install apps.

[Q] How does Google Play Market identify a device and filter its app list?

I am on a Galaxy Note i717R (Rogers variant) and I am running the OnlyOne Update 3.5 ROM. Since rooting and ROM'ing my device it is no longer able to see and download the tablet specific apps that I used to be able to. Specifically, my Swiftkey X Tablet keyboard is no longer visible in the Play Store.
When I run this app in landscape mode it no longer shows the keyboard. I strongly suspect it's because this ROM has many elements taken from the GS3 including whatever unique Device ID that the Play Store uses to filter its app list.
Are my suspicions true? If so, how does one change this ID so that I can re-install my tablet specific applications?
Many thanks for your help!

[Completed] Why my device is not supporting the google play service?

there is a problem in my tablet [connect v3, HCL ] and i am really worried about it ! google play service app was not installed when i bought it but later i installed it from its own store as the device didnt have google play store and yet it didnt work!!! as alot of apps require google play service to run smoothly , i am having problem to run many apps like youtube , gmail and many others !
Is there any solution to my problem . plz help!!!
Well you have a couple options. You can either return the device and buy something different, or you can register and ask your question here
You may not get a lot of help as that is not a common device. Support for random/odd ball devices is not great out here.
good luck
Your Device is not Authorized by Google for the Play Store. Hence the issue. Please see [Q] How to install Play Store on HCL ME Connect V3(Rooted)? for details.
You may post on that thread if you have further questions.

Google App - device not compatible?

Hello
I´m confused about the following thing:
When opening Google App in Play Store on my z3 device OR with browser on desktop, i got a message that the app is not compatible with my devices!
So what happend?
Can anyone open the play store and search for Google App?
This is the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox
On my tablet z4, the newest version is installed but also nothing to see in play store list or after a search for google app...
Is this a normal thing?
Greetings,
SirRobin
It works fine for me.
You may need to let people know if you are rooted and what ROM you are on. This may be a build.prop issue
I´m currently on stock Sony ROM without root or anything else - both for z4 tablet and z3 Smartphone.

Try logging out of google, clear cache on play store, and log back into google.
Google app in play store
I got the same thing today on both phone and tablet. Hope Google fix it
Google app in play store
Signed out of google. Cleared cache and data. Signed back in to google. Seems OK now.
I have a problem with the Google App and the Google Now Launcher.
Both the notification and navigation bars are solid colours (light blue and black respectively). This happened overnight when I switched ROMs and I haven't found a fix yet.
I am having the same problem. My Sony xperia Z3 doesn't have a default search engine and play store or apps store

Finding the correct Google Play Services APK

Hey,
So i sent my Sony Xperia Z3 off for repair, which they refused due to a tiny dink on the side of the phone. They sent me back the phone and it does not have ANY google services on it. I've looked in apps in settings and there is no google service showing there. I have no internet browser on the phone either. I've tried restoring back to factory settings with no luck and cannot install any apps on it. I've tried a few different google play services apk's but all i have tried, install then says google play services stopped working. I may not be installing the correct ones?? There are so many different versions of the APK that i don't know which one that i need. Please can someone help me get the phone sorted so i can install apps onto it.
It is a Sony Xperia Z3 Model number D6603, Processor - Qualcomm MSM8974PRO-AC, Android version - 4.4.4, Baseband Version - 8974-AAAAANAZQ-00005-05, Build number - 23.0.A.2.93
If you need any other info please just ask but i only want to use this phone to put things on for the kids and without the google services i can't!
Thank you in advance
Mark

[Resolved] [Q] How to List apps installed on specific device? (Google Play Store)

"Sleuthing Google Play (on the web)"
Like many folks, I have more than 1 Android device (or, more than 8 devices).
I used to be able to get a full list of devices registered w/ Google (Play), but now I only get 5 of them. Some devices are offline until I tear them down and fix them.
I can see a listing of "Installed" apps under my Google Play account - a long list (700+).
Is there any way to find a listing PER device? I thought there was, but all I find now is that I can request an app be installed on one of the listed devices, not a way to show what's noted as having been already installed on a specific device.
Per Device Listing - question change
One problem solved...
No sooner than I posted, I discovered the answer to my question...
In the Google Play Store, after selecting "Apps", "My apps", the result displayed defaulted to "App Apps". When I scanned that before, I saw options for "Family Library", "Subscriptions", ...
I stopped when I saw the top two. Below those choices are 4 of the 5 devices that Google Play remembers for my devices.
You can select any of the devices shown, and the app listing will be limited to just that device. (I'd leave a screen shot, but I can't do attachments)
Now, to figure out (backwards), where each of the (700+) apps are installed, which may help me track down my not-included devices.
Can a person have TOO MANY devices? (I'd like to think "No.").
