[Q] Samsung note pro 12.2 LTE GG3? - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does Galaxy Note Pro LTE version have Gorilla Glass? I was trying to find info on this but found lots of contradiction.
According to Corning Gorilla Glass site the Note Pro does have one, but i do not see it under spec on Samsung site and the tablet is surprisingly light.
Does anyone have details?
Thanks:cyclops:

Yes. It has Gorilla Glass 3.

gorilla glass :(

is true that our rocket has no gorilla glass, really thought the whole series galaxy s2 the carrying, in some parts says he does not have (someone can confirm?
It says on their site that the sgs2 has it. It doesn't reference to the skyrocket. So like you I'm confused with all the yes it does no it doesn't talk. I did read on the Samsung FAQs where someone asked the same question and the reply was "Samsung uses a type of fortified glass to protect the touch screen integrated into the galaxy s II smartphones!
Skyrocket has a scratch resistant screen but not gorilla glass

It indeed has Gorilla Glass 2.

Note Edge Display - Gorilla Glass or..?

I've searched Google multiple times and I cannot find anything on this.
Is the Galaxy Note Edge's display made from Gorilla Glass, or some plastic substrate?
The reason I am curious is because I am thinking about JUMP'ing to the Edge from my Note 4, but if the display is not actually glass I am concerned about how it would hold up.
Thanks!
Note Egde's display has gorilla glass3 that processed 3D, like a Note 4.

Note 4 has Gorilla Glass 4!!??

Note 4 has Gorilla Glass 4!!??
According to Corning Glass website the Note 4 has Gorilla Glass 4 on it NOT GG 3 as stated in the spec pages of most sites.

I wouldn't doubt it since Corning and Samsung are close business partners.
and I'm still searching for the perfect fitting tempered glass screen protector
Awesome feature love it
mine has scratched from just being in my pocket unprotected :crying: now got a cheap screen protector on i cant notice it,
You should see the one at the T-Mobile store, holy crap. It looks like someone used a piece of fine grit sandpaper on it.
I predict even Gorilla Glass 100 will scratch!
A tempered glass screen protector looks great, is easy to clean perfectly, and provides extreme protection (but it does get micro-scratches, be thankful they're not on your phone!)
Deleted. Sorry mispost.

Galaxy S6 - Some Screens More Curved Than Others

Hi guys! I've been on the this Galaxy S6 forum here at XDA since I got my pre-order in from T-Mobile. I previously had the Galaxy Note 4, and at that time I was on the Galaxy Note 4 forums.
Just like the Galaxy Note 4 the Galaxy S6 comes with a slightly curved screen (reason why tempered glass cannot go edge to edge) which causes problems for tempered glass protectors. I do bet that they're are tons of people here on the same boat as I am (switching from GN4 to GS6). We had the same issue over in that forum. However we had a even bigger issue there that hasn't been discussed here which is the differences in the degree of the slight curve that our screens have. For instance many people here on this forum have been posting tempered glass screens that work for them and yet when another person with the same product as well as the same phone the glass will not adhere at the sides.
Is it possible if we can make a thread here just for tempered glass screen protectors along with the carrier and manufacturing date of the device as well?
P.S I'm sorry if this had some formatting issues or grammatical errors. First time posting something so big here and trying to type this up at work
