[Q] Gravity Box Stopped Working after reboot - General Questions and Answers

Hey I have a rooted LG MS769 with locked bootloader :crying:.
Yesterday I was running Kumas 10e ROM and I decided to flash his latest work KumaKan v3.1 which is a very good ROM.
After installing Aroma on my phone, it then booted up into kumakan v3.1. Everything was working great except google photo editor which makes my edited photos come out corrupted on my phone . I rebooted my phone into recovery(twrp) and cleared the data. After that I had rebooted the phone, went to gravity box (because I noticed my themed battery icon was stock again) and it said the gravity box framework wasn't there and it forced closed . Can anyone provide insight on what happened?

[Q] Xposed for lollipop on XT1033

Hey guys,
So I'm sure a few of you must be aware of the fact that Rovo89 has released an alpha version of Xposed for android 5.0 and up,
which is available here
I wanted to ask if anyone has tried to install Xposed on their 1033's successfully, because I want to avoid screwing up my phone again.
So please comment on whether you have got it working, along with the recovery and android version you were on.
Thanks

Alright, I've done it and it works perfectly
you should flash ROm, then wipe cache and dalvik. it works fine.
Can anyone provide me exactly which version of Xposed Framework needs to be installed for Moto G XT1033 running on stock rooted 5.0.2? Link would be appreciable as the one I downloaded isnt working.

Hi
I have an issue with an XT1032 running 5.0.2. I flashed Xposed with TWRP and it went fine. But, the phone shows a low space warning and the apk does not install. Tried to remove almost everything (3 GB now free) and still the warning.
Does anybody faced this already? Is there a way to make it work?
Thanks

Stock/official rom rooted issues

Hey friends.I bought the phone a week ago and after a few days of checking that is working properly i rooted it in stock rom for getting rid of the ad's ,full phone acces e.t.c.
Everything is working fine exept an issue.
the first 1) is the fingerprint scanner. Now i know that is trigeering knox and in official rom isnt working anymore but in superman rom is working fine even is the knox is triggerd.
Is there any way to make it work in official?
Seconnd 2) does smart view has to do anything with knox?i can use all the other funtions of smat view exept screen mirroring.it gives me a popup saynig ''smart view connection failed.Error occured''
does the root have something to do?
and a final question.if i flash back the offial version and unroot the phone (the knox will still be triggered) will receive the oficcial updates?
EDIT*
for 1)The fingerprint scaner works properly in a rooted phone .Sorry for any misleading info .Just to know i had installed an ''tap to lock'' aplication .After delete the scaner works perfectly.Sorry again.

I used the same version as u but it dint take it on the first atempt.
I started the flashing in downloading mode and after a few seconds stops. The instalation bar was 1/3 full.
I let the phone to continue but after 5minuts nothing happend.so i restart again in download mode and instead of the clasic download mode screen it gave me a big blue screen with a triangle in the midle
and it was writting to use smart switch to contineu.
In this screen you still can flash the cf ayto root.So i flash it again and it continiue from where it left before.
Right now i have no issues from rooting. The smart view appears to be samsung error because i call customer support and they told me that the first update is including several fix and a fix for the smart view.
I root the phone immediately after the format data i make so it didnt take the first update tha cames when u first open the phone.

I'm at a loss right now

I've been trying to get viper4android to install, I followed this guide here:https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039 and that's all fine and dandy but it looks like I keep running out of room in my system partition to install viper with the other tweaks that I have installed and it acts like it installs fine but when my phone boots back up viper doesn't show and no matter what I try nothing works. My phone model is SM-G930U and I am running 4apl2 firmware I also have xposed installed

Camera doesn't work...

Hi,
I'm quite new to operating with Android phones, anyway..
I had been running the stock MIUI 10 10.2.2.0 Stable ROM on my Redmi Note 6 Pro. I've decided to try PixelExperience ROM because it runs on Android Pie and I like design of pure Android. So I flashed twrp by MrR00t (it has to support Pie ROMs and it really worked), boot into twrp, canceled decrypting storage, wiped data partition, flashed disable dm-verity and force encryption, flashed pie firmware, rebooted to recovery again and installed latest PixelExperience.
Everything was fine (i mean camera worked) and I've decided to root the phone for changing emoji. I've changed them successfuly. And I wasn't fed enough so I was unhappy that the PIN is not 'entered' automaticaly (I mean after entering 5 or 6 numbers auto "enter" press). This feature provides GravityBox, so I've installed successfully Xposed for my device (not wrong version, I am pretty sure about that) and then wanted to install custom GravityBox for Android Pie (official is not avaiable yet). It needed two other modules installed before ('Magisk Riru Core' and 'Magisk EdXposed Beta'), I've installed them successfully, then I rebooted the phone and installed GravityBox from link given in the thread. Then activated GravityBox module in Xposed and rebooted for activating.
Unfortunately the phone soft-bricked, so I reinstalled PixelExperience and wiped Dalvik/Cache and rebooted to system. Camera stopped working (I mean camera app didn't even display any button, no settings, just black screen).
I have already tried installing stock stable MIUI ROM, beta ROM and camera doesn't work on either of them. Also tried hardware test and it stops working after trying to run camera test. No matter which camera (both front and both main doesn't work). BUT both LED flashes works.
Please, help me, I am out of ideas
btw. I know the issue seems to be physical, BUT it stopped working after flashing something.. Phone also bricked, I think there is some connection.. Thank you all for the time
EDIT: I have found out that it's caused by damaged file "persist" located in dir: /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist. I did replace it with persist.img file extracted from fastboot version of latest pie beta ROM MIUI in twrp terminal. That file is probably responsible for system communication with all the sensors, as I read in internet, and Xiaomi devices are blocked to manipulate with it by just flashing ROM in fastboot (this function is called arb = anti rollback).
