I need a bluetooth handsfree fm modulator - Samsung Galaxy Core

Hello everyone. I need a Bluetooth hands free FM modulator with 3.5mm aux jack and Usb port in Bahrain. I looked in Manama but its not available.
I looked in all the supermarkets and hypermarkets, still not there. If any one in this forum lives in Bahrain and if anyone knows where this is available, kindly tell me. I cant buy from amazon or eBay because i don't have a credit card and i don't want it from online.
Thanks

Has anyone used this particular model with an XDA (XDA II)?

Before I buy:
http://www.tomtom.com/products/products.php?ID=209&Language=4
Can't seem to find a provider of XDA car kits in the US and I'd heard that some people successfully used a TomTom kit so I looked into them.
I have a trip coming up next week so I'd like to buy a solution ASAP.
This is a car kit for TOMTOM rather than the XDA-2 By that i mean its a simple holder for the XDA-1 (the xda-2 will fit but it tight unless you remove the battery cover) it power the XDA and the GPS thats it, It is not a car kit for a mobile phone
John
Ok thanks for the quick response, if it'll fit the XDA II (even snugly) and power both it and the GPS then at least I'll know what I'm getting.
I'd love to get a regular car kit for hands free but have come up empty looking for a stateside retailer. Anyone else out there know of one?
The XDA-1 car kit dose work with the XDA-2 and also you can connet your GPS to it, but there is no aerial connetin the XDA-1 kit.
I use the simple OMTOM Cradel in my car with a BT200 bluetooth headset, but i have friends who still use there old XDA-1 car kits

USB Pin Connectors/ 3.5 mm Headphone Adapter

I wish to use a standard earphone (other than that bundled by HTC) with 3.5 mm stereo pin. But the problem is that HTC accessories are not readily available in India. Now what I thought is, can we not make a homemade adapter by cutting a mini USB cable and connecting / soldering it with a standard 3.5mm stereo adapter. In that case the microphone of course will not work. I have read at HTC site that the mini USB of HTC vox (may be all other phones of HTC) is a propreitory 11 pin connector. So can a standard mini USB cable be satisfactorily used ?
Anybody has any idea ?
This is what I use with my VOX

it works perfect, and I got it delivered to my home in India.
but I dont use it anymore cause I have got the new Jabra BT3030 bluetooth stereo headset which is so perfect.
Thanks Prajith. I am thinking of buying one.
Also ebay
Do a search on ebay for "USB audio adapter for HTC Vox". They are very cheap.
JK
BUY IT from XDA DEVELOPERS STORE
Its available in the store.xda-developers.com

@naidu001
you can get two of the connectors I mentioned in that price.
and hey it can be used for charging too, which the connector you mentioned cannot.
Rightly said Prajith your conector has boyh USB mini and 3.5 jack. Actually I purchased a few things from another site where postage was further cheap at $3 per item. But it seems that cost of the items are cheaper at the link shown by Prajith.
Anyway I am searching for an adapter with miniUSB, 3.5 earphone jack and microphone too for answering calls. I know this will be avaialable but the shipping costs are main.
@parthabhatta
talk to some of the other windows mobile users near place and buy this together. That way shipping cost becomes very less and they may offer a discount also. I had bought 30 of those, now I have only one and that too I dont need.
I would seriously suggest that you try a bluetooth stereo headset, you would never again use a wired headset. Ever!
Let me know if any of you folks have bought this miniusb to 3.5 mm audio jack converter for Vox from xda store. How easy is to order one from there?
I live in Bangalore. Is there any one knows which is the right place here to find it?

I ordered it from brando shopping. I don't remember the price paid but they have a standard 3 $ per item charge for shipping anywhere. The item will reach you within a fortnight maximum.
The url is probably shop.brando.com.hk or google with brando shop and you will find the exact address. No extra customs duty etc has to be paid.
Thanks PrabhatBhatta,
i went to Bangalore's National Market and tried a few adaptors, none could really work actually. Then i tried a final one which is the same as seidio one, which worked atlast for me. I bargained it for Rs160.

Pixel 2 XL USB-C to 3.5mm Dongle replacement - Canada?

Anyone have a good replacement dongle that works? I can't find one with reasonable reviews on Amazon.ca
It may be easiest to order one from Google directly. It's about $10 Canadian with shipping included.
Not all USB C Audio dongles will work with the pixel 2 as a dongle can't take audio directly from the wires in the USB port and connect them to your headphones. That's how many of the adapters work for other phones. There needs to be a small chip inside the adapter, a DAC (digital to audio converter, basically a little sound card), that talks to the pixel 2 and converts the audio information into electricity that powers your headphones. That may not sound so straightforward, but I guess simplicity isn't the game with the pixel 2 audio adapter. But there are benefits to this solution, as there are some downsides like it being a requirement.
If you search around the forums, there is a list of other audio adapters that work (I saw it in the regular pixel 2 forums), but getting one from Google is the simplest and pretty much least expensive option at the moment.
delete nvm sry.
Edit: I'd order direct from Google. It's so cheap compared to other options.
Having said that though, I'm convinced there is a sound difference with the HTC U11's adapter quality being better than the stock one. However, not worth the price difference here in Australia ($44 for the HTC vs $12 for the Google delivered).
