Phone bricked? - Samsung Galaxy S II Plus

Tried to install custom rom, after installing cwm 6.0.3.1
phone is stuck in galaxy logo, nothing from there
tried different roms, wiped cache, factory reset, dalvick cache.. Nothing!
Suggestions?
I have a P model

I'm pretty sure it's not bricked. Look into reflsahing a stock ROM by using Odin.

because you need to wipe(factory reset) when flashing different roms. when you upgrade the same rom, you dont have to wipe.
i have and its still not working do i need to wipe cahce to

wiping data(factory reset) should take care of that. wipe, flash rom, flash gapps(if needed), and reboot. thats all.
done all that still gets stuck at the loading screen
ok got one to flash i did a cache wipe to and it seem to work ty

I'm not sure why, but sometimes when I flash a recovery and reboot into recovery from ROM Manager, I get the same thing. But if I flash, then power off and boot into recovery using volume+powerUp, it works fine.

Okay. I did what you said. It worked like a charm!! Thank you.
Now I wanted to flash RAZODROID.
I did every thing as it said.
But now I'm stuck on the boot animation screen since ages!!
When I go to recovery mod, a sign of a hat sort of a thing displays; nothing else.
What do I do now?
Go to recovery and wipe data and cache then reboot hope that works

i think you didn't install CWM Recovery.
Download and flash CWM Recovery using ODIN.
Reflash RazoDroid and wipe Date/Cache.

flash cyanogen mod rc5.5 works perfect

[Q] Help! Samsung GT I5801 boot Loop on cyanogen mod 7 and AOKP.

So day before yesterday I finally tried to install a custom ROM on my Samsung GT i5801 phone which previously ran Froyo. I didn't know much about ROMs and it was my first time so i tried to use one of AOKP ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1548627 ) I don't know why but it wouldn't install using CWN v.5.0.2.8 and I tried to do it anyways using ODIN. It kinda flashed it but it never worked. It destroyed my stock ROM and I didn't have any backups.
Then I found a Cyanogen mod 7 ROM for GT I5801 and I installed it on my phone using CWN. It installed fine but keeps boot looping. I tried everything after that. Clearing cache, Dalvik Cache, and even tried to re-install the ROM using the wipe data/ factory reset and installing the Cyanogen zip file, but it still boot loops.
Today I tried the AOKP ROM again using odin. It flashed perfectly but its stuck on boot loop too. The white screen keeps flashing.
Can anyone tell me of a solution, please?
Any help is welcome.

[Q] Fixing A Messed Up Flash

So I flashed a custom ROM and did the usual steps. Install, wipe caches, etc., and the ROM itself loads. It's a custom 4.4.2 ROM for GT-P31XX and I used CWM 6.0.4.5 recovery to flash it. Problem is that when I boot, I get to the lock screen but System UI, Settings, and AOSP Keyboard always fail. I can't seem to boot into recovery any more but I want to install a different ROM or reinstall stock JB and start over. How would I go about fixing this situation?
Okay, I can boot into recovery actually.

Did you wipe everything first then install? Because you want to wipe, install, boot. Cache, dalvik, data, system are the main ones, always wipe these when flashing a new ROM.

No, you are No.2, lol
Cm9 its an custom ROM which can be flashed by custom recovery(cwm, philz, twrp)(I recommend philz and twrp).. first flash custom recovery by Odin and goto custom recovery and wipe cache, dalvik cache and wipe for installing full ROM, and select the ROM package zip and let to install, after flashing successfully , reboot your phone... it will boot with an boot animation of cm9
