Hie,
I recently purchased a Chinese Tablet (Fondi PAD T708B). I had set a password for it and then forgot it. I read a couple of forums on how to get help, it showed generic password recovery methods for android which seemed not to have been options for this tablet. Then I read another forum which gave me another solution to be to factory reset it. I'm a noob it that sort of thing so i tried to follow the steps correctly. I was able to boot into recovery mode and found the factory reset option which showed it would erase all user data. I had no problem with that considering there wasn't anything I hadn't backed up. However, during the 'wiping data' the tablet went off. And when I tried to boot it again it gets stuck on the screen as shown in the attachment.. And however long I wait it doesn't seem to pass that point. Can any one help me out on this?
May you please help.

Hey guys,
Is data recovery possible after a flash? Also, what is wrong? I have searched but no answer directly hits on this. I am not a tech guy- Biology- sorry for that ahead. To the issue, I dlowded a software update to my Galaxy s3.....and boom froze on Samsung screen. I can turn phone off and on. It would not boot past Samsung. So I went into cache partrition, and tried a system reboot- cannot. So then I seen a program that supposively recovers data after factory reset if you do nothing else to the phone. However, problem I hit te dreaded factory reset- nothing. Over a software update? My computer is not recognizing the device. So I went to Samsung, they tried installing software, however, the computers were recognizing, but not connecting. One tech said they did not have flash- I went back again, the othertech said they did. Anywho, after 4 days, I forked my phone over to a repair guy. He I believe tried Odin- as it currently sits in odin mode. Now it was getting into download mode- but ow I have this message- " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." A samsung guy mentioned it might be able to be flashed, as my concern data- not backed up. This info is pretty important, as I have several contacts and mssgs. The two modes my phone can go into: Odin and recovery. I could really use the help, on both saving data, and getting the phone to fire- as it might be able to- but data?
Thanks in advance.

Before or after the a Flash? Thanks for the reply.
HELLO EVERYONE,
this is my first time ever posting, I have a very weird issue with my Motorola xoom tablet, this is a Verizon Motorola xoom 4g model mz602.
the issue I am having is that every time I try to factory reset my tablet it goes back to the WAY it was left, what I mean is that it wont reset at all,
I tried everything from factory reset on RECOVERY mode to RSD lite program using factory SFB file and FAST BOOT COMMANDS, and nothing is working,
the weird thing is that THEY all say that they were SUCCESSFUL to reset and stuff, but when tablet reboots its back at the exact same way it was, same apps, say google account, same wifi network , everything is the same as if it was not resetted at all, when I tried the FACTORY RESET from recovery it says this
wiping data
performing BP clear
BP CLEAR FAILED.
formatting data
formatting cache
data wipe complete
but then when the tablet reboots same thing, tablet is back to the way it is with all the user data and all the information there,
when I say I tried everything I mean everything, I unlocked the OEM to to try to install a custom rom but when I try to install the custom recovery the tablet will reset back to its original RECOVERY. I even followed the GUIDE to make sure to go STRAIGHT into recovery to avoid the INITIAL boot to restore the original recovery, but it will not work, so like I said, when I try to restore the image using RSD lite, computer shows as if everything succeeded on RSD lite, but it doest work, FAST BOOT commands from ADB show successful or completed, but same thing, please some body help .
thank you in advance
Hi. I successfully flashed blisspop rom to my SM-T700 tablet after flashing the stock rooted os. It pretty much worked perfectly. The problem here is that I never reset my dalvik cache and I'm not sure if blisspop does automatically for me or not, so I'm suspecting this is the problem. Anyway, I decided to reset to factory defaults to get space back on my internal sd card. I reset, and my tablet starts to boot into TWRP recovery, but I then experienced what people are always talking about-- bootloop. Now, I was going to reboot into recovery again, maybe it was a one-time glitch. But of course, my recovery goes away EVERY TIME I REBOOT, so now I'm stuck with the default recovery, which gets me nowhere. I try to do a normal boot, and surprise! IT DOESN'T START. So I get android studio and try to see if I can connect with my tablet through the built in adb console. I can't because apparently I need to accept the computer or something, but I can't, because the darn thing won't start up!! So there's my problem. I've tried adb, flashing stock rom, even attempting to corrupt it by pulling the battery when its starting so I can somehow reset it. No luck. Please help!
Hi, boot into download mode and flash the stock firmware. See your previous post here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/smt700-issues-os-t3079490 Also, see this is if you have further questions, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s This is your device's forum and is the place you should be asking for help. Good afternoon or whatever time you have there, greetings. So here's the situation: I've been trying to root my Samsung J2 Prime, about two days ago, using KingRoot, KingoRoot, and FramaRoot, but to no avail, they did not work. So, becoming desperate, I ventured to the dangerous thing I regret doing: flashing its firmware. So I've attempted to root it with Odin, and then it said "To start up your device, enter your password." And I was dazed, I don't have a password! And if it really had a password before, I don't know! Moving on, I've not attempted to wipe its data, knowing the files in it. So, I tried to recover it on Odin by opening download mode, the FRP Lock is on, so unfortunately most of my ventures are unsuccessful. Then, after entering an incorrect password (on the home screen something of the "To start up your device..." screen), it proceeded to wipe factory data, which then prompted my phone to have a bootloop, however I could still access download mode, but not recovery mode. Then, when I've somehow managed to access recovery mode through root boot on Odin, I've wiped my factory data and the cache partition. Then, after a few attempts, I used some firmware I've downloaded and it said it worked for me so I was at first. But when I checked my phone, it would no longer turn on! As in it wouldn't boot at all, even remotely. The charging screen won't even appear. I'm going crazy. I've tried to remove the battery then return it, to no avail it won't work. I really don't think it's a battery issue. Can anyone help?
(Btw, I've been following random YouTube videos whose links I've not saved, and some random pages. Also, I'm not sure with my carrier, but I'm more confident that it's Globe.)
Are you install stock rom to your device through odin?

Hi everyone,
I hope I am in the right forum to post my query. I am trying to find a solution to the existing Problem. Before I get to describe the problem specifically I must make it clear that this is my first time on any android forum. While trying to find a solution for the existing problem, I had to google words like Bootloop, Softbrick, TWRP, Custom Recovery, Root, Flash, ROM etc. They still do not make much sense to me (I will be reading more about them in the coming days). So now you can imagine how big of a Noob I am.
Well, I own a Moto G 1st Gen XT1033. Since yesterday it is in a Bootloop. The phone boots completely at times but automatically restarts itself after a while. Sometimes I have 1-2 minutes at maximum to use the phone. Until now I have been able to delete quite a bit of data for example pictures and certain apps because I thought that Bootloop was happening because of no space on the memory. The last app that I installed 3 days back from Google Play after which this problem started occurring, I was also able to uninstall it. Until now I have tried wiping out Cache by going in the recovery mode but that didnt fix the Reboot problem. I also tried holding the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button for 2 minutes (I read it on internet somewhere as a fix to the problem) but that didnt help either. I have never created a backup and I don't want to do a Factory Reset as a fix to the problem because I don't want to lose the data. I also tried to follow your solution for backing up data but I got lost. I don't know where to start from. Thats why I am writing here.
I don't know if my phone is rooted. I did turn on Developer Mode on my phone in the past (if this info helps).
I do not know which Android version I have but I am guessing that it is Lollipop.
I never installed TWRP or any Custom Recovery software on my phone before.
The battery is working ok.
What I am looking for is:
1) Step by step guide to create a backup
2) Resolving Bootloop issue if possible
Thanks
without custom recovery no data backup is possible.
u need to unlock your bootloader and install The Twrp recovery to perform the backup.
but only fix for you is factory reset.

Thank you @jbanti Apologize for my late response. As far as I know unlocking the bootloader will erase the memory. One can recover data by ADB Pull by using these Threads:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/moto-g-1st-gen-xt1033-boot-loop-stock-t3357472 (Post #4)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2426426
So I know that there it is possible using`adb pull` command to take backup of whole device but I don't know how. I get lost in the 2nd thread. Any lead would be appreciated
Thanks
