Hi,
my moto g is stuck on the motorola logo, no root or attempted to do it.
Only have a mac and so far got adb to work and downloaded the tesco uk firmware that is .xml.zip
When i run the command ./fastboot devices i get "????????? fastboot"
What should i do next?

Hi, i tried to do the root in my device but it doesn't work. i was trying this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/guide-root-xt1032-xt1033-moto-g-running-t2965507.
I have an moto G XT 1033 with lollipop 5.0.2 without unlock the bootloader, when i put it in fastboot mode and i try to run the root-windows there is no response from my device, there is a message: <waiting device> and nothing happens.
DO i need to unlock the bootloader?
What should i do to root my device?
And if i do this process it will go erase everything from my moto G?
I tried to put in fastboot mode with the minimal ADB file and the same message appears : <waiting device> but nothing happens.
Tnks i'm waiting an answer.

My friend although i rarely know about rooting but i believe Unlocking Boot loader is the first step for rooting , then backup & finally flashing rom in your Mobile.
Hi, i tried to unlock the bootloader but my phone stuck in fastboot mode. it is not allowing me to even switch off my phone. Kindly help me with some solution.

Hey guys, i have a moto g 2015 lte xt1079. I was rooting my phone. But when i flashed supersu my phone got stuck in boot loop. so i tried to flash custom rom but it didnt work. So i tried to flash stock firmware, it went well. BuT all of a sudden my phone rebooted to fastboot boot. Now my phone is not booting up. And my bootloader is locked with status code 2. so when i try to to boot up its showing FAILED TO VALIDATE SYSTEM IMAGE. And fastboot reason is UTAG "BOOT MODE" CONFIGURED AS FASTBOOT. I cant get to recovery. . NEED SERIOUS HELP.
My Moto G XT 1033 is stuck in bootscreen.
It runs on stock Moto G (India) firmware. Bootloader is not unlocked and is not rooted. I am able to boot to fastboot and stock recovery. USB Debugging is also not enabled. Please help
