my friend has a problem with Arabic Language on his Xperia J ( I think Jelly Bean)
The names are recorded in Arabic but when you call someone or someone calls you .. the letters appear in in reverse and cutter
For example, the name is أحمد علي >> when you call him it become like this >> د ح م أ ي ل ع
i update to jelly been but it doesn't solve the problem it still appear like this

i have Htc touch pro2 i buy it from EU and i install some Arabic software to help me reading my SMS and E-mail, its dosn't very good working but i hoped abut the new Arabic ROM, so they relies the new Arabic rom but when i installing the Arabic software its start to check the product code or S.N or imei for the PPC and maeking the Words Upside down and cut letters so how can i chang the product code or S.N or imei for the my PPC to arabic one pleace can any one help me with that and i will be grateful..

i have a problem with my tytn ii , that is when i use chinese and arabic , so when i install arabic supports in wm6.5_eng it work well , but when i add chinese language and arabic in the same time a part of chinese caracters lines not prsented on the screen , using wm6.1_eng the problem solved , the secret is that chinese and arabic are not be activated in the same time , so when i want to write chinese , i go to the sittings of wm6.1 and disable arabic , now i am using wm6.5 , i still have that problem because i do nt know where i can find the option to disable arabic in wm6.5 , please help ...where i can find the option to disable a languages in wm6.5

I want to know the HTC Chacha was able to write or read Arabic language ? For example you try to open this site and show me what you seen . ( with Android browser or Firefox or UC or...)
And is "input method" enable on Chacha when you want to write a message ? ( for install Arabic keyboard )
And I want to know is possible to map Chacha keyboard to another language ? for example you press "D" bottom and wrote "ی" ?

Why is not any answer ?
With the latest OTA update yes you can read arabic perfectly... I haven't tried writing though...

Yes, sure you can ... yesterday i got one from Nasa (nasa4ppc . com) (Middle East Version) with full arabic Keypad. you can read & write ...
Really it's excellent device .. I love this ChaCha
Just tap into the "text input" for two seconds till yo see " copy , past , input method "
then chose input method. finally, chose the desire language
for Arabic >> chose : Arabic keyboard
for English >> chose : touch input
In Arabic keyboard you can swap easy between Arabic and English language.
Android phones in Canada do not support the Arabic language for some reason. The letters are all disjointed which makes it really hard to read.
I'm waiting for HTC to unlock the boot loader so I can download an Arabic ROM for it!
Edit: I recently found out that Sony Ericsson supports reading and writing in Arabic. It's the only company to do so in Canada......... for now!!!!!
You Have Lots Of Ways
Well,you can use several keyboards.like Persian Soft keyboard and Smart Keyboard Pro.
They both support QWERTY keyboard, But I suggest you PERSIAN SOFT KEYBOARD which supports Arabic & Persian as it's name goes so.

now the only problem with this rom is Language ,,, this rom only serves me spanish n i m an indian so i caN ONLY understand english
Soo is there any way to change the language ,,,, but remember not aftr installing the rom coz there is no option to change language it shows only n only spanish language in language n input settings
soo plz suggest me any method from tht i can add language directly in the system but,,,, but without compromising any of its features
