In your opinion is the Rearth Ringke Hybrid Fusion Case much more thicker than an original Bumper?

Not to answer for him, but having the official bumper twice and both times selling them because I just didn't like the functionality of it. Comparing both, the Rearth is like any tpu case out there just a clear back, where the official bumper makes the phone a bit wider to my personal preference.

It does make the phone quite a bit thicker than the official bumper. Still feels good to use though.

Great review, I've been using the case for about a week now and when I finally took it off I remembered how much easier the buttons were to press. If they could fix them this case would be amazing. I wish my plastic was as clear as yours, mine looks "foggy" even after removing the screen protectors.

They seem to pick up grease very quickly which gives a foggy effect. Try using window cleaner on it.

Another user used Meguiar's NXT car wax. Just a little dab on the front and back and it looked shiny and new again! LOL.

Would it be too much If I asked If you could measure the total width of the phone with the case on? Just to get a better picture of how much it adds on the sides as in the videos and photos it doesn't look more than 1.5-2mm.

Last time i checked no covers and screen guards were available in my city.....i use a 100rs screen guard and that to was cut to be fitted in my phone and that too already has many scratches...will get it changed soon!!!

for 150rs. covers ebay

No cover or screenguard, been using like this for over a month. Barely a scratch on the back (after a biiiiig fall). That's about it. And I'm a rough user.

No cover. Just a screenguard. Even that's not for L specifically, got it cut.

Using a pouch to carry it safely in your pocket nd when out, reveal the beauty that'd be the best idea to show off your phone :laugh:

I use a hard case (got it from eBay), its rubberized but not too much, has a great grip, was around Rs. 400... and the best part: it is shaped almost like the back cover of the XL, along with its curve!
But yeah, the thickness is substantially increased, though now it fits perfectly in my hands, it may not be the same for everyone!

Killed its sexy look but making the phone safe

Bared.. just putted it inside an old sunglasses pouch.. Also, I bought a matte screen protector from a mall here in our city, but it is not dedicated for XL.. it's from Galaxy Note, and they are just more than willing to cut it to fit the screen of my Xperia.. Did not regret it..my XL is sleek(though the screen protector is not that lovely,just fine.. )

I would like to get some advice on choosing a hybrid case for Nexus 4.
I've been reading and looking for few days now and this is my contestants list ( in no particular order ):
* LG Nexus 4 Ballistic Shell Gel SG Series Case
* Case Mate Tough Case For Google Nexus 4
* Ionic Guardian Armor Case for LG Google Nexus 4
* Exact Armor Case for Google Nexus 4 Smart Phone
More options will be welcomed if you think they will fit the theme of these cases ( hybrid, no stand, bulky ).
So what do you guys think? Wich one should I choose?

If you're on a budget, Ionic and Exact should be fine. But I really like CaseMate.

That casemate looks good. The ionic and exact seem more feminine, they're the same correct? The ballistic meh.. not really digging it.

dont you think all those case make your phone big and covers up everything. they spend a lot of time designing the phone, its suppose to be shown off. i believe a screen protector and a clear tpu case will be enough to protect the phone. tpu case will be enough to protect the phone from a fall. just my opinion.

yup, thats why i stick to oem bumper or ringke fusion at the most.

Budget isn't an issue for me... And I also like the Case Mate because I had it on my Galaxy S II... Remarkable case.

Ionic and Exact in did looks the same but they are made by different companies... And I must disagree on you on them looking feminine, the look to rigged

I currectly have the Bumper... I always have the feel that if I drop it, that's it for the phone.

That's true. My friend had a bumper on his N4, he dropped it on carpet and the back glass cracked. But then he just put a dbrand skin on the back, and it's not noticeable anymore.

Have you looked at the acase cases? I have one on order, it seems like it might fit the bill perfectly.

Unfortunately they do not have a case for Nexus 4. Like many others... :crying:

They do. Look a few threads below this one. I just ordered one on Amazon. There's video reviews on YouTube as well.

You are right. But for some reason it does not appear on theirs website...
Anyways. It is indeed a nice case... after checking few reviews and pictures I will not buy it because it has a smooth back plastic cover.
From my experience it is not the best thing to hold when your hands are sweaty.

After checking many cases I decided I will buy the "LG Nexus 4 Ballistic Shell Gel SG Series Case".
I believe it to be the best suited decision for me.

Galaxy S6- Looking For Clear Case/ bumper And Tempered Glass

Hi, i'm looking for a clear cover, or a bumper with max drop protection
If necessary i'll add a tempered glass.
Some option, but no one agree all my requirement:
1)Rhino Shield bundle .. as seen on youtube the best in drop test... but 47€ , 58$ + IMPORT FEE
is too much and no pubblic review..
only 2 video on youtube and not good comment on amazon..
I need a real opinion !
2)X-doria defense gear , good in drop test , near to impossible to get in Italy ( no worldwide shipping ) :crying: deprecated
So i found some alternatives option(reading the forum):
1)SPIGEN SGP SGP11317 Ultra Hybrid Galaxy S6 Crystal Clear -> 13€ but no one speak about this ... so i think is not the best in drop ...
2)SPIGEN Neo Hybrid CC -> lot of people says it's good, ok but i never seen a drop test -> 27€
I'm open to evalute other option!
AND FOR THE Tempered glass

Some people says that it's ok for drop , and many others says " it's only an anti-scratch protection "

I am using the ringke fusion case and the icarez flexible tempered glass screen protector. Couldnt be happier.
The case has a smoked tint around the edge but crystal clear back. I believe though it comes in all clear around the sides. And the icarez has absolutely zero halo issues. I would post up some pics but im laying in bed about to go to sleep right now. I can put some up tomorrow though.
Its like a 30$ setup and like i said i couldnt be happier with it

Having read a lot of reviews and compared endless videos, i went with this Bumper case:

It's quite nice with its acrylic backside, however, they got another one with even more protective features, check them out.
The best tempered glass i found was this one:

Easy to apply, definitely scratch resistant (i tried!) and fingerprints are most easily wiped off.
And no, i don't intend to drop it on purpose either

Neo Hybrid is one of the prettiest! Tough armor is a little stronger, but Neo Hybrid does the job very well!
Tough armor is not very comfortable to hold though. I have one. Neo Hybrid is a great choice!

YO, DUDE, try Design Skin's Luna case. It is clear and has bumper function! The ones you found are also great! Tell me what's your final choice!

I ended up getting the clear/ice case from UAG along with dbrand titanium skin, and wow does it look awesome.
So if you're looking for a clear case, I highly recommend UAG.
Pics were shot with a nexus 4 so not the best quality.
One of the pics is the dbrand skin alone without the case.

Owning a SM-G920F with Ringke Fusion crystal clear and couldn't be happier. Around 11 euros here in Amazon Spain.
