you need to do:
Charge the battery above 50%.
Relock the bootloader using the following command:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
Then boot the phone into bootloader and select Fastboot using the volume down and pressing power.
Then connect the USB cable. You should see FASTBOOT USB.
Run the RUU (0PAJIMG.zip) from Windows and follow the wizard. You may have to extract and re-flash the stock recovery from the RUU for it to work,
I don't remember.
Once the install is done you'll have unlock the bootloader again using the token you already have from the first time, reflash cwm recovery and re-root.

Step 1) Download the leaked RUU.
Step 2) Transfer to your phone's SD card
If you downloaded it on your phone, use a file manager to move it to /sdcard
If you downloaded it on a PC, connect to your phone and drop is on the external SD
Step 3) Rename to 0PAJIMG.zip
This can be done during step 2 but it's important enough to know that this HAS TO BE DONE
Using a file manager, rename your recently downloaded zip file "0PAJIMG.zip"
Step 4) Reboot into HBOOT
If you're rooted, you can use an app like quickboot
For everyone else, make sure that fastboot is turned off. Power down your phone. Power up holding Volume down and Power.
Your phone will start updating...
Wait about 15 minutes, if it hasn't rebooted do a battery pull.
Repeat Step 4
Usually the RUU needs to be flashed twice in order to work.

You have to wipe before flash my rom
If you're flashing a ROM different than the one you're currently running, you should wipe data and cache. Essentially, this performs a factory reset on your phone, and you will lose all your data
In TWRP, you'll find this under the "Wipe" section, and in ClockworkMod, you'll need to either choose the "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" option or the "Wipe Cache Partition" option. When you're done, you're free to reboot into your new ROM.

HTC One S villec s3 BRICKED

I have a HTC One S villec s3, and I unlocked it using the official HTCDev method, then I tried to install CWM but I couldn't, then I successfuly installed TWRP, and it worked fine.
I made a backup of the official ROM so good, but after doing factory reset, wiping cache/dalvik I accidentally press power and the phone was powered off. Now when I turn it on I can get into bootloader but I can't enter into TWRP, I tried reinstalling TWRP but I can not get into TWRP, only thing that I see is the logo of TWRP and suddenly restart.

Already RELOCKED, but when I choose Flash Facatory RUU zip on HTC One S All in One this message appear:
"This will flash RUU zip file... If you have the RUU zip file and NOT the exe RUU, then you can continue..."
The link you gave me is the exe file not the zip, Do I have to execute this exe and follow instructions?

Flash a rom
I think u have have to reflash ruu to fix hboot
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using xda premium
if you can get into recovery -
1. wipe everything (all partitions, dalvik cache, battery stats, etc)
2. mount usb storage. download jaggy rom and put it on to the sd card.
3. flash the rom, it will boot up fine.
4. reboot to recovery. wipe everything again.
5. reboot to bootloader (in twrp) if on yannou, just pull out the battery, put it in and keep holding volume down and power till you get the fastboot menu.
6. get into fastboot mode, connect phone to PC, run the proper RUU for your device.
if you can't get into recovery -
fastboot boot <recovery name>.img. Preferably use a twrp recovery.

sorry bro, I can't find the T-mobile specific ROM. Since you already have your phone running, and if you desparately want to switch back to the T-mobile ROM, you can always flash that RUU and take it to them and tell them that you just want the software updated. I don't think they will care about the phone being rooted as the service center guys will. I might be wrong though. Doesn't hurt to ask, does it ?

factory reset on pico after being rooted will give you a bootloop. DO NOT factory reset a rooted phone.

I assume your bootloader is unlocked, since you say so. You don't need to flash a recovery for it to work. You can just boot a recovery image and do your stuff.
1) run "fastboot devices" command. See if it spits out your device. If it does, your phone's in fastboot mode.
2) run "fastboot boot <recovery image name>.img". This will reboot your phone directly into the recovery where you can play around.
I assume again that one of your partitions has been corrupted just like mine had. So just as a safety measure use cute_prince's nand recovery method. Wipe everything from recovery, and reboot your phone. You should be able to flash stuff, and lock your bootloader normally. Then run the RUU.
NOTE : BOOTLOADER MUST BE LOCKED BEFORE FLASHING RUU.
Hope this helps. Reply back if you run into any other problems. Will try to help you as much as I can. And as far as flashing a ROM goes, I would stay away from CM10 beta 6 and all sense 4.0 / 4.0a ROMS as I have faced nand burns with them.

Try out this method it might solve ur prob ..
!!!DO NOT RELOCK the bootloader before Step 4 - this will brick your phone!!!
1. download RUU for your device here (check your radio at top the bootloader menu)
2. extract the RUU rom from RUU application
start the ruu application, even if it fails. also start the flashing process, nothing will happen here. search for the ruu logs, for me at c:\ruu_log. in the log (for me in line 191) is the path to the rom.zip that should get flashed. something in temp folder... for me the line looks like this:
"<T093343><DEBUG><CMD>fastboot -s HT1BMVMXYZ flash zip C:\users\raangu\AppData\Local\Temp\{1235}\{12345}\ rom.zip</CMD></DEBUG></T093343>"
3. flash the needed images
in the rom.zip you will find a boot_signed.img, a system.img and a recovery_signed.img. flash all these images with fastboot.
In command line:
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot_signed.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery_signed.img
4. relock the bootloader
In command line:
fastboot oem lock
5. install with RUU application
now run the RUU application again and follow the instructions.
You are back on RUU now!

Thank u . This is the SEA singapore/malaysia rom Version
Does the rom contain the firmware or have u removed it?
I have corrected the links for u with clickable ones.. As above.
Those who want to download , just click on the quote above
NOTE: that the firmware file in Original post is a full version, not a custom one . Flashing the firmware will result in loss of root
Here are 2 files, Choose one to flash , not both
If u flash this
2.24.707.1-custom firmware.zip
yr S-off , custom recovery and still Hboot 1.44 intact, u can use revone
on this. If u are already S-off , rooted and want to just upgrade the firmware flash this
If u flash this :
2.24.707.1-Unmodified firmware.zip
Yr S-off may be gone but u cannot use revone commands anymore . Hboot will be upgraded to 1.54 , custom recovery will be removed and potential problems later one . Flash this if u want just like the Stock OTA upgrade
---------- Post added at 05:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:00 AM ----------
Explanation for the above: Generally U need to remove 3 things if u want to flash firmware on S-off phone
Boot.img - Kernel ( this is stock kernel ) remove if u are on custom rom
recovery.img ( HTC recovery) remove if u ant yr TWRP or CWM intact
Hboot ( remove if u want to keep yr phone Unlocking bootloader ability )

Thanks for fixing the links. No the firmware is not included in the ROM. It only has boot.img, /system and /data/preload. The firmware will need to be flashed separately using fastboot oem rebootRUU. The firmware can be extracted from the OTA firmware.zip or the link above. I'd remove hboot from the firmware as well. 1.54 hboot is a problem. Haha.

No . This firmware is the full version. I stated earlier ... It will result in loss of root .. u need to remove the boot.omg, recovery.ing and hbootbya.img before flashing
I have posted a custom version of this firmware in #2 post of this thread
updated my 2nd post.....
just to confirm, if i'm currently on CWM touch and ARHD and would like to get back to stock recovery and stock ROM
i just need to download the 2 files quoted by Magpir and flash them using the following instructions?
Download stock odexed version of most recent firmware and recovery.img
Move recovery.img to c:\mini-sdk location
Boot your device in recovery mode (power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "RECOVERY")
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard" and "choose zip from sdcard".
Navigate to the location of stock ROM (zip) package and confirm flashing procedure.
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device in bootloader mode.
Connect your device to the PC
Boot your device in fastboot mode (like you did during unlocking bootloader - power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "FASTBOOT")
Open up command prompt ( Start > Run > type cmd and hit enter ). The window that appears is called Command Prompt. <click here to see the image>
Navigate to where you unzipped "mini-sdk" package (type in Command Prompt: cd c:\mini-sdk). Note: make sure the path is not c:\mini-sdk\mini-sdk
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You have now stock boot, system and recovery partitions. Time to relock your bootloader.
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot oem lock.

The Mega link works fine for me. I'm not sure why you are having problems. I know Mega is picky when it comes to browsers...
I am uploading to dropbox and drive now. I hope the uploads will finish by tomorrow my time (GMT+10).

have you got a permission?
did you give the source?
Hmmm, doesn't work for me...
I get the following message
"FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)"
Am I the only one getting this message?
[edit] turned out it was the etotalk modrom that blocked it, fixed that now [/edit]

Hi
Can u explain how u did it.
Regards
Thirst of all I unlocked the bootloader as explained at www.htcdev.com
The method for the M8 works just fine for the E8.
Make sure you backup important data, since this give my E8 a reset back to factory settings.
Afterwards I was able to flash twrp and supersu.

You can use Rom Cleaner v2.2 (Search in XDA) and editted RomCleaner_user.txt (attached) by me to remove chinese apps.

Hi
Can u explain how u backup important data?
Tons of thanks in advance......
Get these two returns:
C:\Users\Home Made\Desktop\OneDrivers_Fastboot\Fastboot>adb reboot-bootloader
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found
C:\Users\Home Made\Desktop\OneDrivers_Fastboot\Fastboot>fastboot flash recovery
twrpe8w.img
target reported max download size of 1830621184 bytes
error: cannot load 'twrpe8w.img': No error
Can anyone shed some light
Your Adb tool is out of date. You must update to the lastest one.
Easy way is download SDK platform from google.
I assume this won't work on the Sprint E8? Is there source somewhere I can fork to build it myself?
