is that possible to have deodexed rom in Xperia M2 without unlocking bootloader?
Sure. This tool can do it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2527268 .
I would however not perform such operations on a system which does not have the possibility to fabricate a nandroid backup.

Nandroid backup no! It is not possible to do that without unlocking bootloader!
If you have unlocked bootloader than you can install a Custom Recovery to backup your stock before rooting!
You can still backup app APKs, Contacts etc. before unlocking bootloader!
you can unroot and relock your bootloader.. but to take full nandroid backup, you need Unlocked bootloader and custom recovery...
hello guys i need a little help. i am using sony xperia 2011 device which is xperia mini st15i.
its rooted with eroot on stock rom and stock kernel with locked bootloader.
i wanted to install cwm mod on my phone but i found that i cant install cwm on my device as my stock kernel does not have recovery partition and i dont want to unlock my bootloader atm. i tried xparts and xdaromhub to install cwm on my device without unlocking bl but none of the method seems to be working for me. now i am thinking to go ahead and unlocking my bl and install a custom kernel but i want to know is there any method by which i cam backup my current state of my phone i.e. in future if i want to revert back to stock rom and stock kernel with bootloader locked like it was never unlocked. if there is a method for that please tell me or if u know any other method of installing cwm without unlocking bl pls tell me that too. also i have a backup of my stock firmware from pc companion which i made .ftf file with flashtool. i have flashed it successfully in past so will that firmware relock my bootloader and revert to stock kernel and stock rom if i flash it with flashtool after unlocking bl? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you so much for reading

Hi people. I am new to this game. I have rooted xperia z3 (kitkat 4.4.4), locked bootloader, cwm/twrp/philz installed, T/A partition backed up.
I am going to ask a series of questions and hope that someone has the patience to answer (some of) them. I'm trying to get an overview of what is possible and what is dangerous.
1)Can I flash stock firmware without unlocking bootloader? Or does flashing always need unlocked BL?
2)Is there a way to update to Lollipop without losing root?
3)If I unlock BL and flash a custom rom can I then reinstall apps and data backed up with Titanium?
4)What happens if I restore my T/A partition whilst running custom rom. Will camera function be restored/improved?
5)If I'm running a custom rom can I enter recovery on startup in the usual way and reinstall a backed-up image of stock rom and data (nandroid??) in the usual way?
6)If the answer to 5) is 'yes', when do I restore T/A partition?
7)If the answer to 5) is 'no', how do I get back to rooted stock rom, locked BL and DRM keys intact?
8)Should I just forget about all that and install Xposed...?
I hope it's ok to ask that lot. I wait with bated breath and thanks in advance...
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It looks like you know where your device's specific forum is. But just in case it's here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3 That is the best place to ask your questions as they are the experts on your device.
Hey guys, I have a damaged Xperia M2 (D2303) that I need to backup (nandroid) and restore to a new Xperia M2 (D2303).
I was hoping to simply flash CWM Recovery (broken device) > Nandroid backup > flash CWM (new device) > restore Nandroid .
However I'm seeing information about flashing these devices that requires I flash a whole new stock ROM just to be able to flash a custom recovery?
Is this correct? Could someone please guide me through what needs done with these Xperia M2 and note any specific requirements (I also read something about Sony RIC ??).
Are these device not as simple as others to flash / unlock?
I just bought a D6633 dual sim z3 and I was going to root but then I found out that Unlocking bootloader wipes DRM keys and so I'm confused on what I should do now?
should I downgrade to kitkat ,root, backup drm, then unlock bootloader? or is there another faster way to just root it on Marshmellow?
As far I know...
Optionally you can backup some important Apps with “Helium“ (from Play Store) to SD or PC - Internal Storage will be wiped by Unlocking the Bootloader...perhaps by Downgrading too, i'm not sure.
Then dowgrade, root, backup TA (DRM)
... with root you could get a custom recovery
and with a custom recovery you could:
-(backup your rooted kitkat rom)
-flash a pre-rooted stock Marshmallow-Rom
so if you want a original Sony Marshmallow OS with root and DRM Keys, there is no need to unlock the bootloader. If you'd like to have Cyanogen or any OS with a custom kernel, unlock it, a locked bootloader would brick your phone.
....but i'm not sure, wait for Comments of Seniors
