REVIEW RAVPower 2.1A Dual Port USB Wall Charger

http://www.amazon.com/RAVPower®-Cha...+5.0V+2.1A+for+iPad,iPhone,Smart+Phone(White)
just bought one for only $9.50 and its really nice to have because of the duel usb ports, i travel alot so it really comes in handy when charging my phone and camera at same time plus it can also charge my nexus 10 fast if only using 1 port. 1 Ampere max. port for Mobile phones. (Share 2A when both ports in use) and i also like the fact that it's wall outlet prongs retract into the unit itself for added safety. and for more safety when charging its has over-heated, over-current, over-charging protection.plug it into the wall and charge just about any mobile device from 5,Iphone 4/4S,Ipod Touch,Kindle Fire,iPad Mini, The New iPad, iPad 2; Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, Note 2, Note n7000;Kindle Touch to even blackberry. lol

5.0v 2A OUTPUT Charger on N5?

Hi m8s,
I sold my HTC ONE but I already bought a Universal Charger.
do you think I'll have a problem or will it mess up using this universal 5.0v - 2.0A charger on my LG Nexus 5 32Gb?
Cose in discription it refers compatibility with S4, Note 3 and Nexus7?

I've used my Nexus 7 2012 2A charger and my Anker 2A portable battery pack to charge various different phones including N4, N5 and HTC One without any issues-the phone's charging circuits will not allow them to charge at a higher current than the phone would like.
My worry with that charger would be the quality of it being a cheap Ebay special. Probably won't damage your device but then again it might, plus will it actually charge at 2A anyway?
Using a 5v 2.0 A charger should be fine. USB chargers are all 5V. The nexus 5 comes with a 1.2A charger. Using the 2A charger won't cause any harm because the phone itself draws the current it needs.
However, I did notice that while using my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 charger that has an output of 2A, that it started to charge my nexus at 1.5A.
So using a 2A charger over the 1.2A charger that came with the Nexus, will actually charge the phone about .3A faster
But you do have to watch who you buy it from. Some chargers don't output at the rate they are supposed to.

best multiple-port charger for the Galaxy S4

What do people think is the best multiple-port charger for the Galaxy S4? I'm looking for something (along the lines of the Poweradd 5 or 6 port chargers, or Anker's 5-port charger) that will charge multiple devices at once and also charge the Galaxy S4 as quickly as possible. I know that the GS 4 charges at different rates with different chargers (as detailed here) and I see, for instance, that the Poweradd chargers only send 1 Amp to the Galaxy S4, which makes me wonder if there are similar options around that would charge the GS4 faster.
Thanks!
Alan
I'm using an Antec 4 port. It has 2 2amp & 2 1amp ports. Got a charge-only cable also & Galaxy current app shows 1.9 amps going to the phone even without fast - charge enabled.

Wow, that's great! Thanks! And should any of these devices work similarly if I use a charge-only cable and connect the phone to a 2 or 2.1 amp port? Or is that speed something that would be particular to the Antec?
wicked Chili 3.1 A - dual port USB - with bridged data connections ...
best after 4 different other models - feals very sturdy too

Yes, the charge-only cable should work with any device USB charging port. Any 2 or 2.1 amp port.

[Q] Weird Car Charger Problem

The Scosche car charger that I've been using with my old phone (HTC One m7) doesn't charger my Note 4, but still chargers the HTC.
This type http://www.amazon.co.uk/Scosche-Dual-USB-Car-Charger/dp/B00E1UWA4O/ the dual USB charger.
I've tried various cables (Note 4, another Samsung, Mini USB with Micro adaptor cables), they charge all devices, when connected to mains power.
Additionally, I've got a cheap 750ma output car charger, that was free with some eBay tat and that chargers the Note 4, obviously too slowly to be of any real use.
Does anyone else have the Scosche charger?
Should a non QC2 charger work, I'm guess it should?
Should I just buy a QC2 car charger?
The only thing I've not tried, is switching off the QC feature in the phone. But, I wouldn't think I should have to do that.
Thank you for any feedback.
********** Edit **********
Just to help anyone else in internet land who might be reading this.
I contacted Scosche and they recommend using a charge only cable to fix the issue with the Note 4 (and possibly S5).
I can't confirm this, I don't have a such a cable at the time of writing. But I might have shortly.
I use a Anker power IQ charger in my car and it works with the Note 4. Non qc2 chargers should work fine.

Any 1000 - 2000 mAh charger will work on our Note 4.
I've tried HTC 1000 mAh charger, even Blackberry charger & all working.
May be the Scosche pin circuitry is not compatible with Note 4, try another car charger.
I'm using Capdase 4 ports car charger (2 ports 2.1 Ah & 2 ports 1 Ah) and it charge my Note 4 quite fast even without Fast Charging capability.
Thank you all for the replies :good:
I'll try the Aukey charger.
look for a car charger that has 2.1A output rating.

Great set of cables helps too.

Thank you for the reply.
I decided to get the Aukey QC2 model, which should arrive tomorrow.
I bought this 2.4 amp MiLi smart car charger... works very well. Even recognized the fast charging. Simultaneously charged my note 4 and my ipad air at good speed.

I use an Incipio QC2 certified 12v adapter in my car that worked fine on Kit Kat but on Lollipoop I've lost the fast charge capability, only regular charging.

Which Quick Car Charger

Guys I have been looking at 3 different quick charge car chargers and trying to find some info about them. Does the note 7 support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 or just 2.0. Which of the three of these should i go with
1.
https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Qual...quick+car+charger&refinements=p_85:2470955011
2.
https://www.amazon.com/Aukey-CC-T7-...car+charger&refinements=p_85:2470955011&psc=1
3.
https://www.amazon.com/Aukey-CC-T8-...d=1475548094&sr=8-4&keywords=Quick+Charge+3.0
I always get the anker ones dual port thyre quick charge, last a long time and inexpensive theyre cables on the other hand.
Note 7 only supports QC 2.0.
Try TYLT RIBBN USB-c, it fast chargers, flexible cable and had extra usb port to plug somethung else in and it will chsrge that at qc 2.0 as well
