So, to cut the story short, My phone right now is unusable due to some ROM error trying to install some kernel, and the biggest mistake is, I removed my data via TWRP, I was doing this by midnight and did not realize that wiping data from TWRP means all your back ups is gone too and there is no data, no anything on the internal memory card, How can I restore my Moto G ? Please help I'm so panic I can't sleep
This phone I bought is not even close to 1 month, is this the end for me ?
I see there is a Mount OTG option from TWRP, Can I buy some OTG devices then put all the rom then plug in to my moto g?
No need,just install minimal adb and adb drivers for moto g,and go to mounts and storage,and mount sdcard,then just put a rom zip to your sdcard from pc.

Can you give me detailed instruction for this? I don't get the "go to mounts and storage" and the part afterwards
In twrp you have mounts and storage,just download a rom from internet,go to twrp,connect the device to pc,go to mounts and storage,or ADB or something(i dont know how its called in twrp,other users help) and put a rom that you downloaded in your phone,and then install it in twrp just like any other rom.

reflash
You can also reflash the stock rom again. This will probably fix it too
You will have to fastboot flash stock....

Sorry to say this, but you shouldn't have messed up with phone, unlocking bootlader, rooting, installing twrp if you have no idea how to restore your phone in case you mess up the things like this.
Seriously, don't do this again. Read about 180 to 360 days in the device section prior, gain some knowledge about it and then proceed. This will also save you lots of nerves, trust me.
clearing data via twrp doesn't wipe the internal storage...u must hav done something else.
anyways, in twrp go to advanced , select adb sideload.
start a command prompt and do adb sideload filename.zip
google for the elaborate steps.

So I have unlocked, rooted, then used CWM to do a backup and then installed Cyanogen Rom. Decided to go back to my backup, so I went to CWM, selected RESTORE and chose my backup file. Everything was fine but when it rebooted the screen just stays blank. I would try to flash a ROM back on it to recover but my MTP driver will not install. I have no way of pushing over a new ROM. Tried putting it on an SD card but couldnt find it in CWM. So now what.....how do I pull this all back together. I cant even use FASTBOOT without MTP.......HELP!!!!!!
Have Fastboot working now....not sure how. So can I flash a rom on here using fastboot?

Had the same issue a few hours ago. Flash TWRP. Mount your phone as USB drive in TWRP and on the PC should come up a pop up that asks you if you want to format your sd card. Press format and let it do its thing. Then your SD should work again (but the data ist lost).
Thnx a lot

You can use the mount as usb drive function again to put the rom on your phone or you can adb push it onto your phone. I'd use the first method.

Getting adb to work in widows can be challenging. An alternative would be to run ubuntu from a disc. It's a lot easier to get adb working that way. I posted instruction on this. I'll see if iI can find that thread.

(had rooted phone running cm12 nightly earlier) So i downloaded the oxygenos file yesterday, forgot to extract and directly went to TWRP, clicked wipe (ticked everything EXCEPT internal memory) then went to the .zip file of oxygenos and attempted to flash, Obviously that failed and as a result i had no OS. Did a fastboot thing and flashed cm12 back on (already had file on phone) then extracted oxygenos, went to TWRP and wiped all except internal then flashed and successfully rebooted.
Then, I even had to flash SuperSU for root again, a new version since the one on my phone was old i guess
Here's the thing now. I have all my apps up and running, but i cant find ANY of my photos, videos or music. At no point did i forget to untick internal memory.
WHAT CAN I DO??
(kinda Newb to this whole flashing and rooting thing, apologies)

It isn't the OS at fault, many people have flashed it without a single issue, sorry, but it's user error. Start from scratch by flashing the stock images, I have instructions in section 8 of my guide here:

Yes, that's all you need to do (as long as your bootloader is actually unlocked). It will reinstall CM11S and format your userdata so you can access it again.

I am new to rooting, and decided to root my Galaxy Note II SGH-i317m a few days ago. I used a method with no adb access...i think. Here's the reference thread, just in case I'm wrong: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1980644
I got a bit overenthusiastic, and got TWRP while forgetting to unlock my bootloader first. Now, my phone will only boot into TWRP. All 4 reboot options go back to TWRP. What is the best way to get my phone back to working? I understand that I may have to lose my data. It doesn't matter: my top priority is getting my phone to work again.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm new here.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just tried that, and no change. Just to clarify, the only thing I can boot into at the moment is recovery mode.
I think what I need to do is flash the stock recovery back onto my phone. Is this a possible solution? If so, how should I go about doing it? I currently cannot access download mode.

Well, the thing is, my problem isn't with the ROM at all. It's that TWRP does not work with a locked bootloader. So the way I see it, either I need to replace TWRP with something that works with a locked bootloader, or unlock the bootloader. In your opinion, how would replacing the ROM help with my problem?

It's done. It's worth noting that my root method, linked in the OP, doesn't give adb access. I'm not sure if this changes anything.
Also, I discovered that by removing and replacing the battery, my phone can power off. From here I can access download mode. Something that might be useful, especially if the solution involves odin.

tried system restore with twrp?
try it first and if ur not sure that it will work just make backup of boot , efs , system and data(if necessary) via twrp to sd card copy the backup to pc via card reader or something and extract the system backup there should be a file named build.prop in system folder edit it and do it like this :
under #additional build properties
ro.adb.secure=0
ro.secure=0
ro.allow.mock.location=1
ro.debuggable=1
persist.sys.root_access=1
find the above lines and edit the parameters as i have shown to you use notepad++ to edit the file save it the last line will give ya root access by default and second last will make it debuggable just save it repack and flash with twrp cheers
hit thanks
Alright. Since I can't find another thread like this one, I will assume that I am one of the first to have this problem. Here is what I did.
I used samsung-firmware.org to find the latest firmware for my phone, which includes both ROM and recovery. Other brands probably also have a website like this.
I used Odin to flash the firmware onto my phone - this wiped my data, but removed TWRP, which is an acceptable solution to me. I might also have wiped my data while playing around with TWRP trying to fix my phone - I'm not sure.
Thanks to both EMONESSboy and [email protected] for their help. I ended up going with something similar to EMONESSboy's solution, since the commands seemed a little risky. Thanks anyways, your help is much appreciated!

If your situation is the same as mine was, I would recommend the same solution. Just to clarify - you rooted your phone? And then you installed a custom recovery, which is now the only thing you can access?
If so, you should install your stock ROM the same way you installed the rooted ROM. I'm not sure how you would go about doing that, or even if you can access that mode, since your model is not very common.
