A new Android ROM called The Schism.
The Schism is an Android ROM that is a bit different than others.
The Schism strives to bridge the gap between Android OS and Google Apps.
Along with our ROM being inspired by Google Apps UI, we are also a ROM based off Mahdi-Rom so we have a load of great and useful features like Lockscreen Notifications (AOSPAL), Active Display (CHAOS), Heads UP (CM), SlimPIE (SLIM) and much more!

If you are installing The Schism for the first time, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you are running the latest TWRP/CWM Recovery
- Download The Schism for your device and the latest PA GApps and copy it to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash The Schism ZIP from SDCard
- Flash PA GApps ZIP from SDCard
- Reboot and enjoy!!
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from an earlier version:
- Use SchismOTA to download the latest ROM zip and GApps
- Let SchismOTA boot you into recovery and flash
- Reboot and voila! Enjoy the latest The Schism!

That boot animation is awesome. I love the UI. Very fast and responsive. Good job. I can't find any bugs so far

The adoption of black/dark UI was a result of early amoled screens and a rebellion against the cartoonish ugliness of touchwiz. I'd love to rock dark material personally. And I agree that the schism rules.

AMOLED required it to be all black, and if you go into the settings of a regular ROM, you can see the bluish haze, which kinda defeats the point.
Either way, the future is towards a more natural white
New build
There is no changelog because there is no new code. At all. Its the same build over and over basically. But I do it because some people are crack flashers and really need to flash something.

Hmm... Interesting. Will stick with my current installation then, and, BTW, nice ROM.
Wow simply wow, I tip my hat to the devs for this rom. Only gripe is ththe grey text on white washes a bit, but smooth fast and a winner for sure.

Everything runs perfect for me, no glitches, fc nada. There must be something you're probably not doing correctly perhaps? I always full wipe before in flash any rom

I always do a full wipe before flashing...Golden rule #2. Being #1 is NAND... ok looks like ima giver her a go!!!

Pls note I've remove assert check since V26.2 and thus users able to flash my builds in other note 3 devices. Any idiot who flash my hltexx build on NON-note3 devices, I won't feel sorry for them.
Also pls note at this moment I am not sure any issues whatsoever in flashing my hltexx build onto other note 3 sister devices. If there are, I will feel sorry but pls do NOT blame me.
My build naming convention is basically towards my github sources across all my supported devices. Note 3 started with V26.1 was because my latest build release across my devices is V26.
I am supporting the following devices in ROM/Kernel thus my time is not exactly in my favour. Pls do understand if I don't reply your querries.

Multi account does not work for me. Gives me lots of crashes whilst setting it up.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Bug reporting:
This is a big one. We work very hard for you guys so please help us out and follow these steps to report your bug. Ive even provided links for you to help out.
1. Very first step will be to attempt a new DL and clean flash.
2. Pull a logcat and copy / paste it to hastebin .
3. Visit AOSiP and post your issue with your log in the bug reporting section.
4. Any bug reported without following procedure will be disregarded.

I am a beginner so there is a big possibility of the ROM not working!
Known Problems:
Gallery app is NOT installed. Please install one from play store.
1) In quick settings, Clock is not properly aligned.
FIX: Enter Settings>OwlsNest>Quick Settings
Select and Unselect "Center Date and Time"
2)Noticed a few glitches in landscape mode. Image
3) As @hamxa266 noticed, bootanimation is of the wrong resolution and it's annoying lol

using this ROM since last night. And this works well for me so far .. great work devs keep it up
only one problem that disturb me is bootanimation which is not in match with our phone so i hope that will be fixed in next update !! btw thanks

Nothing major. Just added gallery and a browser for convenience, and has all changes from aosip.
Bootanimation is still not fixed I'll try to figure out a fix

Another minor update uploaded.. This time I changed the boot animation to stock Android one. I was told that aosip will get a new bootanimation soon and it should support multiple screen resolutions
Dam it!! I was working on AOSiP. It's fine I guess I'll work on Citrus-CAF now.

Ohh I'm sorry this happened. This phone has so many roms it was hard to find a popular ROM which wasn't built.

But I guess it'll take a month till I can build it coz my exams are coming. Ik all the popular ROMs already support Surnia so it was really hard finding a ROM which isn't already there for Surnia.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

WOW, ton of features inside. Awesome work dev.
So far everything work flawlessly except for these,
- LED not working when charging
- Alert slider notification not working
- Tiles on quickbar not position really well (see image)
Pretty sure these will be fixed in the next build.
After coming to RR I've never been wanting something else. Happy to see RR with Android 10 is coming our way. Thanks!
The Rom has tons of customizations, they aren't optimally organised tho, I wasn't able to find 2tap2wake for example. Swap hardware buttons doesn't seem to work. I assume it can only get better with next builds, kudos to dev.
After having used RR for years, I've been struggling to find a 10.x ROM that would meet my expectations. Super happy to see you porting it to our devices, going to flash asap!

Yes, in my experience it's because of unofficial builds in general. But it's the first release if I got the information herein so far. Shouldn't be too big of a problem to put those code snippets of other working 10 ROMs in there.

Yes, I know that but other roms have been porting Motorola's face unlock in their roms hence why I asked if it's also present here.

Well, tried flashing ROM and after it finished and said "Process finished with [10000]" or something like that, the screen turned off and phone rebooted into fastboot. Couldn't boot or install gapps so yeah, thought Dev would wanna know
