[Q] Change status bar color during calls? - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I gave the OPO to my wife, and while she liked the phone, she asked me if there's a way to change the status bar color during phone calls (like in iOS).
I didn't know the answer, but I suppose there is probably an xposed plugin that would do it. Does such a plugin exist? Any other way to have this capability (maybe some way to do it in Tasker?)
Thanks in advance.

[Q] ROM without persistent notification bar?

I am wondering if there is a Nexus S 4g ROM without persistent notification bar?
My Evo has many nice ROMs, and the notifications are only there when you need them. The Nexus seems to have the notification bar on at all times - rendering the usable screen real estate smaller than it needs to be...
Before I just start trying every single ROM, does anyone know about this?
Thanks.

Changing the colour at the top of the screen

Hi, i was wondering if there is a way to change the colour of the top bar on the screen (i'm not sure what the correct name for this is) but it has your carrier name, battery life etc. My phone isn't rooted, but can this be done in the settings or any apps for it?
It's called the Notification Bar
I don't think it is possible to do this without root

[Q] How to disable WhatsApp Message in Status Bar

Hello,
I have been browsing the nets for the past couple of hours trying to find a way to disable WhatsApp from showing the notification on the status bar.
To be a bit more clear, I still do want to receive notifications (i.e. see them in the notification drop down) but I do not want them to appear in the status bar (for the brief 2-3 seconds); i.e the ones that look like 'Received message from XXXX'.
Is there a way to achieve this either using Tasker, or an XPOSED Module? or anyhing else for that matter?
Thanks

How to (only) hide notification icon from status bar?

Hello everyone,
I just got my Oneplus 6 (coming from Honor 6x) and got a small question. On EMUI I had the option to hide a notification icons from the status bar but keeping the notification displayed, is there something like that in OxygenOS too? I need this because I wanna see the Notification of "Notify and Fitness for Amazfit" but I don't want to have the icon in the status bar the whole time because there isn't much space thanks to the notch.
Thanks in advance everyone and have a nice day
Edit: I already googled but didn't find a good solution

Does this phone have status bar notifications?

Hey guys just want to know a simple thing before I buy the P20. I rely on status bar notifications when using the phone as I keep certain apps silent. Since this phone has a notch I wanted to know if out of the box there is enough room for at least a couple of icons like if I have WhatsApp and Facebook notifications then will it show in the status bar? Some of the screenshots of this phone show the status bar crammed with system icons not leaving room for other apps. Can we reduce the clutter without rooting or adb?
The Pocophone for example does not have ANY third party status bar icons and there is nothing that can be done about it without root. So I want to make sure that this is not the case with the P20.

Click to collapse
You can control notification permissions yourself which you want to see and which you don't want to see. There's plenty of settings.
