I flashed it successfully after my first attempt. Easy going! Many thanks!!!:good:
Do you think it will be better you maintain a single thread to include all modems you have posted recently?
Thank you again.:good:

Not a bad idea and maybe mention this is not for i337. Lots of Noobs now and someone will try to flash this--:good:

I'm happy for the new modem. Reception and battery all look good.
Thanks.

Yay finally I do not have to go all the way back to gtgs never completed modem package thanks jordan.
Could you list links to each modem individually along with the package. The package is nice and all, but I hate to have to download the entire package when a new modem comes out. Either that or dig through the leak thread for the first person to package it up. That is what made GTGs thread so amazing, having the individual link to each modem.
Update: tried KK1, got abysmal data speeds <.2 Mbps, KI3 is still king, followed by KJ2.

Perhaps you could download them all and upload them all separately - its a lot of work for you to request of someone.

He can use the links from gtg's thread for the older modems, then each of the others has been uploaded and posted somewhere else, either in their own thread or in the Leak thread for that release.

I actually got up to 9mbit down when I was driving hone from work. Seems that this modem for me is in general (wifi) not faster but much more stable with less disconnecting randomly like the last two. I haven't tried the ki3 though. Just started playing with modems since the jk1

one SMALL request...
could you list on the first/main post... all the builds/version they came from and what their release dates are?
would most likely be helpful to all!

Quick thing - the version they came from is named the same - the UCKI3 modem came from the UCKI3 firmware leak, etc.

[Q] Brazil Infuse - Best modem

Hello !!!
Guys, please help me to figure out which is the best modem that I can use in Brazil.
I found one good Brazilian Android Forum but, of course, it doesn't has an Infuse threads.
Current I'm using the JB Paranoind 2.53 with UCLB3 modem, but sometimes it doesn't work very well so I wanna try other modem.
Can I install modem from other models, like Samsung i9000 ???
If not, which other model is compatible ??
Thank you !!
In the Infuse DEV forum, you'll find a thread that has a link to modems that will properly flash to the MTD structure of the JB Paranoid .

Thanks Truckerglenn for the reply.
Before post my question I saw this thread with all the modems but, correct if I'm wrong, the modems from this thread are tested for US use right ??
I'm trying to find out a good modem to use in Brazil with my current provider.
In fact I look in all forums, PM some Brazilian users, but there are only a few guys with Infuse here.
Thanks !!
Try them out and see which gives you best result.
I believe someone from Venezuela said uclk2 worked best for him.

Yes, I'm thinking about it, try each one of them for a couple of days and see which is the best.
I also searched in the Brazilian forum all the modems that have in the DV Modem thread and no result....
im using uclb3 and dont have problems
Guys, I'm using the UCKD5 and so far is very good.
Signal until now is the best that I ever had and incredibly my battery life also is the best.
Until yesterday using UCLB3 after 10h on battery I should get about 30% left, but with UCKD5 now a have 60%.
Gustavo, I think you should try UCKD5.
thanks !!

Which Variant???????

Greetings:
I need help with choosing which variant of Note 3 do I go for.
I had a terrible experience with Note 2 (i317M) and vowed never
go for anything else but an international version!! But this time
around Note 3 has too many variants to pick from so I'd really
appreciate if one of you guys help me out.
Thank you.

Yes mate. As long as he can put up with his phone showing that it's a n900t and not the n9005. Then yes, yes and thrice yes. Imo it's the best rom out there.
Of course if it's an issue then he simply needs to alter the build.Prop to display the correct model. For me it's of no concern so I never bothered.
So to re cap my phone is an n9005 and that's the rom I use.

I was led to believe the n900t uses a different kernel and has some modification for nfc?

You know what that's a really interesting thing you've said there. Everyone else is fine with nfc but mine isn't working. So you could very well be right there.
As for the kernel I prefer to use saber kernel anyway. It's what I've used for a couple years with my note 2 etc. That is the one that is baked into the jedi rom.
Regarding nfc I have a Galaxy gear so had to manually connect which I can live with. Perhaps others couldn't?

That is true but if you are in Canada and you want LTE you should have got the N900W8, where you also have the unique advantage that you can do a lot of stuff without triggering knox and you can also downgrade from 4.4 to 4.3!
But all that is your mistake for not reading around and not posting your QUESTION in Q/A/Help section.

To be honest I'm not so worried about the technical limitations now, experience tells me a lot of these will be resolved over time. And I haven't downgraded to 4.3 now for a while. But I guess time will tell, eh?
Since the update to 4.4 which model wins over all on benchmark tests?
All I know is that the snapdragon 800 model on 4.4 is impossibly fast!
--------------------------------------------
My right hand took a break long enough to write you this message, and you should be grateful for that.
Should just get your local N900W8. You get to flash any ROM + Kernel + CWM without voiding any sort of warranty!
You can't do that on any other device and all you need to do as an extra step is to flash the KitKat fix found everywhere on the Canadian threads.

[modem] I535VRUCML1

I couldn't find a thread like this so if there is sorry.
I am currently running the latest CM11 nightlies on my Verizon Galaxy s3 and wanted to upgrade to the ML1 modem without using either stock TW or a TW rom.
After searching the internet for a while I found invisiblek.org was the only place that anyone really knew of that had just the modem but unfortunately that's been down for a while.
After spending hours and hours searching I found a Chinese forum with the modem .zip
Here is it for anyone else having trouble finding it.

Hey I'm glad I found this! I'm trying to locate a file invisiblek used to have d2gsm_rilblobs.zip, so I can solve the problem as discussed here.
also, if I'm having this problem, do I even need the rilblobs zip, or just the modem file?
Huge thanks for any help you can give me.

In this instance, AP. In prior versions, PDA. But in later versions, PDA is now known as AP.
BL refers to the bootloader
AP refers to the build version of the software/firmware
CP refers to the baseband/modem version
CSC is the consumer software customisation and is specific to geographical region and carriers. it contains the software packages specific to that region, carrier branding and also APN settings for data connection, MMS etc for your service provider
CSC has nothing to do with what languages the firmware supports and it will not add keyboard language support either
PIT refers to the Partition Information Table you only need it if you screw up your partition table or if the firmware specifically requires it because of a change in the partition table layout.
Thanks! Good information here. I think i finally get it. I've been on HTC for too long.
