[Q] Trouble flashing any CM Roms - HTC One S

Hello Ladies & Gents,
I've had the MaximusHD ROM for a while but am wanting to try CM to run lean & mean like I like it. The problem is I keep getting an error on "updating partition details..." when trying to install from TWRP.
I've tried a couple different ROM zips.
I've tried with HBOOT 2.15 and 2.16
I've tried TWRP 2.7.1.0 and also an earlier version (I don't recall)
...and every time I get "FAILED" !
ALSO, maybe this is related, but I can't get ADB to work, only fastboot. Any idea what I'm doing wrong????

If there isn't a RUU.exe for your CID that you can run, you could go through the process of S-Off so that you can run a RUU to return to stock.
(you said you are s-off, but the info you provided says you are s-on)
Or you can install one of the many ROMs to get it back up and running.
As you are S-On don't forget to fastboot flash the boot.img and do a wipe.

Problem is that when I try to install a ROM (CM11 in my case), it keep saying "Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found.", always.

But that is not an error. What problem do you think that causes?
If you want it to verify the md5 checksum, include an appropriately named and correctly formatted md5sum file (i.e., $ROMNAME.md5) in the same directory as the ROM you're trying to flash.

It may be your supercid that's causing the problem and have you flashed stock recovery for the ruu

Thanks it turns out the recovery may have been the issue, got it working eventually once I changed back to stock recovery

[Q] [HELP] Can't load Recovery or Boot into ROM after HBoot 2.16

Hi everyone,
I tried to update my HTC One S (S4) HBoot from 1.06 to 2.16 so that I can run KitKat 4.4.4. But after the update, I'm not able to boot into TWRP or my original rom. I followed these instructions to update HBoot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39216236&postcount=274&nocache=1&z=674317537341266
If I choose recovery, it just reboots and gets stuck on the CyanogenMod Boot Screen.
I tried RUU but that failed -RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_TMOUS_3.14.531.11_Radio_1.13.50.05.31_10.30.50.08L_release_309489_signed_ICS_2.exe.
I tried flashing TWRP again but that failed - twrp-2.7.1.0a-ville-dm.img, twrp-2.7.1.2-ville.img, twrp-2.7.1.2-ville-dm.img.
I tried fastboot erase cache.
Any other thoughts?

Thanks! I actually fixed the issue before i saw your post.
I tried to install this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2322755
found my cid wasn't correct so i changed it to 11111111 -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317536
this finally allowed me into twrp, but my internal storage was corrupted.
so this helped: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086156
then i was able to install the rom from the first link, after that updating to cm11 was a breeze.
hope this helps someone.

I'm STUCK - Please help

I'm trying to either get My mother in law's phone back to stock or updated to sense 6.
I Can't get S-OFF
The only rom I can flash is Pure_Stock-tr1gg3r84.zip
The only firmware I can flash is "KitKat_4.4_Firmware_One_Mini.zip" from the FUU-page (Only when I did it manual)
When I try to flash a different rom it doesn't boot (white HTC logo)
When I try a different firmware I get error 12 (signature) or 43
I have twrp installed.
when I install a different rom I flash boot.img from rom in fastboot
I relocked to install firmware. And unlocked againg afterwards
Why can't I do anything?

Try Philz recovery.
I had trouble using TWRP, it didn't want to install any rom for me. Not sure why.
Also make sure you are installing ROMS that are made for your firmware/partition layout.
I'm not an expert but that's what I've learned so far from other members.
