Hey guys I was wondering if some developer could please implement the knock code from the LG g3 into the one plus since one plus has the touch on lens display technology that the g3 has and I think it's an amazing feature that everyone would love to have. So if someone was able to do that man that would be amazing

I believe this isn't just some flash able zip tweak. I think framework-res.apk needs to be decompiled and patched with this animation, and every ROM has a different framework-res. But I too am interested in this tweak.

Haha I've been trying to port us an LG ROM like a mofo!! I love their UI.
I'm really impressed with OEM skins these days. Just imagine one day where these firmwares will be desirable and stock android will be more of a guideline and less of "I must have stock just to live" situations. Until this device it was always
1. Get device
2. Root
3. Figure out how to get AOSP(cm10/aokp) running.
But I dream of when we can choose.. where every device ships with AOSP and on first boot you are greeted with an option of downloading a skin. After you log into Google play you can go to skin section and download any OEM skin (after paying the $19.99 one time fee of course ) then anyone could "develop" for whatever "skin" they want.
If you could pay 3.99 for HTC widgets on aosp with Sony walkman for .99 and the LG launcher for 1.99 wouldn't you? I mean Jesus the list goes on..
I say an .apk should work on an Android device... period. The only limitation should android version (can't be backwards compatible forever)
We get to do this for free kinda with custom roms but I think these companies should monetize their UIs and allow the user to choose with their money.
/rant
I got the news app working.. Lol
I have the framework apk from the Optimus G if someone wants to make it work on our device.

I installed the latest version of SuperSU from the play store. After that I ran it and went to settings. I scrolled all the way to the bottom. I tapped on the enable pro features button even though I didn't have pro. The underneath the button changed to "Pro features are enabled even if you didn't buy pro". A message box told me to restart SuperSU and I did. I had the pro version! For free! No piracy!
Aw snaps worked like a charm

Nice find, and it just shows how awesome Chainfire is. Funny that one of the guys who really deserves our money is generous enough to not demand it.
Lol im going to try this out :3

Chainfire deserves our support, this is just another way in which he shows us why he deserves it!

Awesome.
Donate a buck or two to Chainfire if you can. He deserves it.

Wonder if this is related to the fact clockworkmod just released a free open source "superuser" app [ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.superuser&feature=nav_other ] that provides most if not all the pro features and fully supports android 4.2.
Thanks for the info. I'm a big supporter of Chainfire and recommend his apps to everyone I meet that has a rooted Android device. I'll definitely be adding SuperSU to the apps that I've already purchased from Chainfire.

I have owned the pro key forever, and I typically love these threads, but I really do wish this wasn't posted as chainfire is really awesome and deserves all that he can get. So I really don't know if I like this thread of not!! But thanks anyways for the find

I purchased numerous Chainfire apps way back, including SuperSU which I use and some I have no use for at all simply to support his efforts. Yeah, maybe I am strange.

Well I haven't seen any guide or mod of the optimus g lock screen but I already found the lg optimus 4x one, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24811293 my notebook is too laggy to run Ubuntu on it and there's still no way to build the mod on my phone. Hoping for some guy with Ubuntu on his com to try this guide out. By the way I think you don't have to be an expert in modding, you just need to be good at following instructions that's all

What about the lock screen is it possible to port that
this looks promissing, waiting that Slow Shutter will work...
... You can't just port things like magic.
Unless the lockscreen is a standalone application (which for efficiency reasons they're not, rather, they're built into the framework), you can't do it.
Any news about the camera app? Is it possible to port the Oppo (COS) app to the AOSP roms?

Does anyone wish to tackle this for our G3 running CM12.1? Would be an awesome camera for CM users!
