mmx a110 problems

i got micromax a110 tab yesterday. While charging phone top part heats to soo much.
While working too it heats. I cant even touch the phne with my ears.
I want to upgrade the rom to bettar rom with battery life nice. Guide me to gud rom.
Now it get 2 hr of battery working.
Help me frnds.

it is micromax canvas 2. It has ics 4.0.2

It's a phone not a tab..
And there's no such version as 4.0.2, it's either 4.0.3 or 4.0.4

Hi there, I faced the same issue in beginning but slowly that problem disappeared. Even u might have noticed the chemical like smell in it.
Just ignore it as of now and yaa do 1 thing, turn of the 3g data connection only while charging u will notice a significant change .
For battery back-up ofcourse there are many custom Roms out there but I am using JMP V11 and getting 2 days of battery back up ........ I am having zero heating issue now .

Its because both the transrecievers of phone r placed on top part and they get heated when you plug in the charger. It is unavoidable. Switch off 3g and the heat reduces as posted above by kbedha.

micromax a110 not starting after i did factory reset in custom rom
i installed xpeia z rom inside the setting options i clicked on factory reset and now phone doestnt reboot beside its logo and android comes searching and reboots again its also no booting in clock work mode what to do
help me

Few suggestions:
Let's retain the default camera application.
S3 Dialer is perfect, or for a change you can try the xperia dialer.
Let's have only the touchwiz and xperia launcher.
Let the battery icon remain as default coz its difficult to see the battery remaining due to percentage notification.
I always wanted to tell you to include the s3 messaging app included in your ROM than using the default app.
Let's not miss out on the tweaks you did for battery. That was brilliant work in earlier versions.

Is it possible to have a zip file to flash to add volume rocker wake option in the rom. I had it in the desire hd, and loved it (Partly because i have OCD and would like to extend life of power button ) . Also it would be nice to have a torch app or shortcut built in, like in miui, where in you can long press the home button on lock screen to toggle flashlight. Small but very useful. Thanks. :good:

hey suhas great work with the rom.....i have a real problem....once the battery is 0% and the phone gets switched off, it is impossible to charge it then. i had to put my battery in another canvas 2 and charge it.. please fix.

Last week I was using SUVI 4.1 and Deep sleep battery is also installed on my phone,battery given backup of 28 hrs and it was still on 20%,In the morning when I checked battery was drained and phone was not powering up even I connected with charger for 4 hours.I think that happened because of Deep sleep App conflicting with ROM(I am not sure)..Can you please let us know for what reasons It happened.
Anyways,I flashed my phone by SP Flash tool on Stock ROM V2 and rooted it again and installed GREAT SUVI ROM 5.1

Keep cwm backup on the sd card for such situations. Its not problem with suvi. To solve, you can flash again via sp tools (cynus t2 jb or mmx jb) and restore cem backup.
Also there is a thread dedicated for this problem. find in general section.

can u plz post a link of the thread.....
and one more thing sir - when charging, after 91% the phone shows green led light indicating battery full but the battery isn't completely charged.
and it also does not charge after 99% i have never seen a 100% wriiten.
their was none of the problems with v4.

Launcher
how can i push your Launcher in V3 to V5. the Launcher icons in 5.1T is different from the launcher in v3. please help

i tried that. but cant take screenshots. the only thing that happens is that my ringtone volume goes down. so screenshot captured.

I had the same problem twice. Had to search for a battery charger in the market , and then charge the battery out of the phone to get the phone to boot up again. It happened twice.
DONT LET THE PHONE GO TO 0% CHARGE. Switch it off at around 5% to avoid it , i guess

and 2nd: i need a flashable zip of xperia launcher please tht will work with 4.1.1 official jb..

Try this, it works...

Serious battery issues
I'm facing very serious battery issues, just wanna confirm if it's my phone's defect.
I get max 3H screen on time, 2.30H on average.
I have to charge the phone for 3-4 times a day with moderate/high usage.
is it the case with everyone ?

Have u applied any tweaks or SCRIPTS ? It may be due to uncompatible script.

Battery drain
turn the brightness low and use compatible init.d scripts for battery tweaks use deep sleep battery saver
