[help]Theming and deodex problem

Hi everyone
I've got few problems in theming my phone, I dun know how to do although i've read a lot of articles about it. So I hoped that someone could help me
Here is my phone's spec :
My phone is rooted
Firmware ver :2.3.5
Baseband ver : I9003XXKPM
Kernel ver : 2.6.35.7-CL696171
[email protected]#1
Build no : GINGERBREAD.ZHKPD
Then come to the questions

What should I do in order to apply it ?
Do I need to DEODEX or can I DEODEX my phone using this method ?

I am so scare about losing everything in my phone as I dun really know how to make a backup of it

FIRSTLY..
I GUESS you are not rooted...
u are running a stock kernal...
u have to flash your phone with a cf-root to get root acces and CWM wihc is necessary to flash files and deodexing...u can flash universal CF-Root by amit bagaria..or Universal beta9fix.tar by XDA_Bam u need to flash them through ODIN...
First Do the above steps..report back if there is any issue...
then move to the next one..

ur config says ur on KPM... the theme will work on KPM as the OP suggests...
yes DEODEXING is must...
u have to deodex using a simple zip file... from here.. load it into ur mmc and flash using cwm...

and you will not lose any sms...apps or other stuff..deodexing just removes ur odex files and replaces them with jar files to allow u customizatin..

i will flash the zip of deodex tomorrow

do you know anyone or anywhere else got the deodex zip that for the XXKPM ??

Instead of waiting why dont you upgrade to xxkpq.All the mods and themes are designed for kpq.
And all the files for deodex and stuff will be easily available

u shud move to xxkpq if u want more themes and mods..i guess its a stock rom so it MUST b having chinese language...
To backup up contacts sms and logs...u have an app called Super backup in market.. that wud save ur contatcs ...and For APPS u have titanium backup...
use them to take backups.. after taking the backups COPY THE BACKED UP folders to ur PC...
cz flashing the phone may remove them...
So u need to go flash xxkpq then cwm...deodex...ext4..theme..
copy back the folders and restore whatever u feel lyk..

Multi rom is not a app .. its a moded recovery that helps u keeps two roms ..one in inetrnal memory and the other in sd-ext ... .. that way u can try roms without having to wipe old rom and flash new one .. using a multirom recovery ...u can boot a rom from sd card when u want

-all the roms posted works the 3d content?
-how i can know my baseband?
-which rom would you recommends?

All Rom that already Posted in here should work on your phone, i am noob too in this stuff i took time to read and ask and now i am not afraid to flash any Rom that i like , Yes i've bricked my phone many time but there is always way to fix it.

The ICS ported it pretty amazing , but it still has some stuffs to be fixed like the Camera is upside down but you still can try it though.
And the CM10 is Really amazing too but it doesn't have the 3D specs anymore, but i think later on it will be because Thanks to our Developers they working hard to give an amazing opportunity get better Rom to work on our devices , and they doing it for free. BIG Thanks to all of them.

How did they solve it ?
one thing i found too is that there lots of programs in Korean language on ICS ported, and the 3D video Playback did not work with me.

Just delete the original with its .odex file and put this (/system/app)

Go to (with any root browser) /system/app .
You will find the system apps ,, find ArcCamera.apk and ArcCamera.odex ,, delete both of them .
Then copy the file I gave .
That is all :thumbup:

I've tried this but its all failed because my phone is not rooted , i've tried all those way on how to root the ICS PORTED my phone end up crashing after..... I will have to root my phone then i will try to fix the camera by this guide you just showed me now...

Install the mounts2sd app from play store. I think its the best....

i install mounts2sd on cm9 its good but you must 1gig partion ext and 0 for swap use

ive used the same script with 512mb .. in jaggyrom 4.1

Guyx ive installed Mounts2sd .. successfully but facing .. one problem ..
whenever i restart my cell ... andorid is upgrading screen appears ... it is used to be come when we flashed dalvik-cache .. but i havent done anythng ,,, ? wat to do ? correct me ive enabled everythng in mounts2sd ... tried also unchecking the dalvik-cache didn't helped .. ? plx Reply ?

[Q] "low memory" problem

Pls solve my 2 probs..for Micromax canvas 2(A110)...
1)I have a free space of 1gb internal SD, 2gb external sd,still showing me the message "low memory" @top-right corner of the screen...then the running app is terminating...
2)the default audio for music is not at all good without equalizer...Also when the equalizer is "on" the default audio is not good.. pls suggest me the default audio settings with/without equalizer...

I guess u runnig on stock rom v1(from ur memory partition). U can upgrade ur phone to v2 or v3
Or u can try any custom rom
It should fix the problem

Jb 4.1.2 doesnt it sound different?? Do u posses a rooted fone running on custom rom or just got it upgraded from service centre? Cuz official update upgrades the fone to 4.1.1
Well have installed a lot of heavy apps in internal storage?
Solution:
If rooted-install any custom rom.if it doesnt solves the issue den boot into recovery and select wipe/data factory reset.
If unrooted-go to settings>storage>default write disk>external sd and prefered instal location>external sd.
Then go to manage applications>and move each and every app to external sd.
It must solve these issues.......

You can know that if u r on v1,v2 or v3.
The first official software for canvas 2 was ics 4.0.4 with 500 mb system storage and 2gb internal storage.THIS IS V1
second was again ics4.0.4 but system storage 1.5 gb and internal 1gb..THIS IS V2
third software realeased by mmx was jb4.1.1 but with same storage as on v2.THIS IS V3

Can you please suggest me a good rom, I am currently trying out CanGalaxy S4 Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2359089 but latest upload has some issue with FM radio.

The problem is not with space, i have adequate space in all my partitions, yet i have this problem.

@[email protected] on your suggestion I've installed a custom Rom , CanGalaxyS4 by @akashrt. Hope you know the features of it, The default write disk is the sd card only but still I face the same problem "low memory problem" . Even my browser is getting closed or a game like subway surfers is also getting closed. Please help me. Is this problem same for whoever installed these custom Rom's?

Try direct inject swap feature by saurabh0291 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2531124 it will help u on low memory.

No bro, Swap will just solve ur low memory(ram) issue. if u feel lags on ur rom try booster or performance or other script from android developer section

Flash letest kernel & try the above mentioned swap feature.

Please any one help me. I am tried factory reseting two times in my Micromax a110. But in my intrnal sd card have 5 Gb, it shows while connecting computer or any other device. But it shows internal memory low space as like free space 110 Mb free and 824mb was used in my default settings. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
