I need something new
My friend also has an android phone.So he rooted that deodexed, new rom
So i need to ask can i root this phone ?
Which rom is the best to install after rooting ?
i upgraded my phone to xxkpq with my friends help. Now i dont know what to do?

hey dude u can try to install. a good kernel with cwm (clock work mod)....a very important tool to customize your phone....then download a custom rom of your choice from the development section (see that ur firmware matches that of the rom) ....follow the instructions there and you will have a full customized phone as most c-roms are pre rooted and deodexed .....when you learn more and get used to the phone you can try miui or cm (but that is for later ...) .......since ur on kpq u can try Poseidon or vurrut roms (Ive used them and they're nice)....
Its Simple
i am using Poseiden's ROM
How to Install it :-
Backup ur apps, Contacts, Messages.
a) U'll need CWM (i use [CF-Root] by Ganesh u get here for XXKPQ)
1) Flash this *.tar file as a PDA in Odin
b) Downlad Poseiden ROM from here or here
1) Copy this zip file to ur external SD Card
2) Goto Recovery Mode Install the zip file from ur external SD Card
3) after installation setup will reboot to recovery mode, wipe Cache & DALVIK CACHE

Finally i made a rom but i have some issues :-
1.Phone automatically goes into flight mode i.e no network
2.Dialer,messaging,dialertab activity Force Close
3.No boot sound (i replaced the poweron sound but still no changes)
4.How to move menu button at the centre . ?
5.and can someone provide me a kernel .. ??
Theme is of Razodroid .. (tx to rajrocks)

Dude nice effort....bt when i tested ROM apps were running fine...I had lots of issues with TW launcher and statusbar....
By the way, who's Meta.inf folder you used?

yesterday it was running ok .. no Fc .. but today dunno what i did it started again .. !!
moving on to kernel topic.. if i use kernel of razodroid the rom does not boot .. !! for me only cyanmob is working. .. Feras told me he will provide his but he did not ... :/

but why is rom going into flight mode .. ???
and any idea that how to move Menu button to center.. ?? how to open .xml .. ?? with notepad+ it does not ... Some diff kinda of character pops up ....

decompile the apk first with apk manager or apk tool. then open xml file with notepad++

i install mounts2sd on cm9 its good but you must 1gig partion ext and 0 for swap use

ive used the same script with 512mb .. in jaggyrom 4.1
Guyx ive installed Mounts2sd .. successfully but facing .. one problem ..
whenever i restart my cell ... andorid is upgrading screen appears ... it is used to be come when we flashed dalvik-cache .. but i havent done anythng ,,, ? wat to do ? correct me ive enabled everythng in mounts2sd ... tried also unchecking the dalvik-cache didn't helped .. ? plx Reply ?

Pls solve my 2 probs..for Micromax canvas 2(A110)...
1)I have a free space of 1gb internal SD, 2gb external sd,still showing me the message "low memory" @top-right corner of the screen...then the running app is terminating...
2)the default audio for music is not at all good without equalizer...Also when the equalizer is "on" the default audio is not good.. pls suggest me the default audio settings with/without equalizer...
I guess u runnig on stock rom v1(from ur memory partition). U can upgrade ur phone to v2 or v3
Or u can try any custom rom
It should fix the problem

Jb 4.1.2 doesnt it sound different?? Do u posses a rooted fone running on custom rom or just got it upgraded from service centre? Cuz official update upgrades the fone to 4.1.1
Well have installed a lot of heavy apps in internal storage?
Solution:
If rooted-install any custom rom.if it doesnt solves the issue den boot into recovery and select wipe/data factory reset.
If unrooted-go to settings>storage>default write disk>external sd and prefered instal location>external sd.
Then go to manage applications>and move each and every app to external sd.
It must solve these issues.......

You can know that if u r on v1,v2 or v3.
The first official software for canvas 2 was ics 4.0.4 with 500 mb system storage and 2gb internal storage.THIS IS V1
second was again ics4.0.4 but system storage 1.5 gb and internal 1gb..THIS IS V2
third software realeased by mmx was jb4.1.1 but with same storage as on v2.THIS IS V3

Can you please suggest me a good rom, I am currently trying out CanGalaxy S4 Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2359089 but latest upload has some issue with FM radio.

The problem is not with space, i have adequate space in all my partitions, yet i have this problem.

Hope you know the features of it, The default write disk is the sd card only but still I face the same problem "low memory problem" . Even my browser is getting closed or a game like subway surfers is also getting closed. Please help me. Is this problem same for whoever installed these custom Rom's?

Try direct inject swap feature by saurabh0291 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2531124 it will help u on low memory.

No bro, Swap will just solve ur low memory(ram) issue. if u feel lags on ur rom try booster or performance or other script from android developer section

Flash letest kernel & try the above mentioned swap feature.
Please any one help me. I am tried factory reseting two times in my Micromax a110. But in my intrnal sd card have 5 Gb, it shows while connecting computer or any other device. But it shows internal memory low space as like free space 110 Mb free and 824mb was used in my default settings. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

but i found speed droid. it was owesome.. i liked too much.. it has memory scrpt as well.
its a jellybean 4.1.2 all were going well..
but when i used gapps.. means google apps. so its lagg my device.
even some apps. like wechat, facebook messenger not downloading..
i flashed too time.. but i found same error..
i love my pico.. but i cant decide to flash rom..
please help me .. or suggest me some roms.
or memory script.

Ya its same for the pico. But I found one way . it worked for me now I even can play FIFA 14 in my pico . hope it works for u too.
1. Install cm11 rc1 (note : use rc 1 not rc 2 ) ; link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535682

Bro.. i have checked all roms not cm11.
according to me its a latest verrsion of cyanogen . so it will laggs more..
and it has too many feature which pico cant handle and its will work like a tortoise.
so thats why i didnt download..
after you im trying and hope it will be best rom for me.
if it will be.
so i will not use keyboard to say thanksh..
and you will get thanks after i install cm11..

sometime its boot randomly and sometime it show error (sdcard unexpectedly remove.)
but minicm9 is very smooth and didnt lags..

AS you said you want ICS only :
This is the most stable ICS rom and this is still being most stable and many ppl still use : CM 9.1 Official thread
There is a build 15 as well but not mentioned : CM 9.1 Build 15
There is no inbuilt script so you need to flash the script or you can copy paste it in etc folder.
If you dont know how to copy paste script and list of scripts : Check here
As you said the downloads stop in between you need int2ext remember int2ext not int2ext+..

Either use titanium backup app to backup all apps with data or backup rom in recovery and use nandroid manager app.

Yes it has memory increase script...just choose in aroma installer the memory increase kernel, and yes it's working with ext2, ext3 and ext4
