This is my first time posting in the forums asking for help. I own a samsung galaxy grand duos 19082. I had to factory reset my phone because it was running slow and i had no choice. In the heist of the moment i forgot to backup my contacts and i realised it once it was reseted. Unfortunately, i had never synced my phones contact either to google or samsung accounts.
My query here is, 1. does the root still have this info ?
2. if yes, how do i find my contact info and restore it.

Sorry dude..... You had to make backup. . Now it is impossible for people like us...... May some hackers can do this...

Hi ,
I've registered here just to post this question. I have Samsung Galaxy Pop mobile which is running on android OS 2.3.
I don't have any idea about rooting and all but came to know through google and I've successfully rooted my device.
It was working fine until I tried to update custom ROM. After installing and restarting my phone, it is showing android on screen but nothing happening.
Please let me know how to make it work.

You have soft bricked your phone...
Flash a official firmware through Odin...
Else if you have nandroid backup, you can restore that...

Hello everyone,
This is my first ever post on XDA and I came here out of desperation.
Today I had rooted my galaxy s5 without any problems. Then I wanted to back my ROM up by using CWM.
I opened up CWM, backed my ROM up and rebooted my phone. This is where it all stopped working.
Homescreen didn't show up. All I'm seeing now when I power up my phone is "settings has stopped working".
Sometimes it shows something else and I just tap ok and another app would show up that ''has stopped working''.
I don't know what to do. I don't care about doing a factory reset. I just want to get some of my files back.
Forgive my extreme lack of knowledge.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately, the s5 has a locked bootloader and you can't flash cwm on it. I would suggest you follow this to get your device running again. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51494717. Then look in the gs5 forum, general, and q&a, for further information. Help me. especiall to those filipino XDA devs. My phone has always redirecting to systemrecoverymode. It happens after an unsuccessful sw update. I don't have cwm, twrp, and backup roms since i dont know how to use that. Can you suggest something so that i can use it without to service centers?

im sorry if if i posted this in the worng place but i need help.
i have (stupidly) tried to root my samsung glaxy s3 and as the greedy son of a b*ch i am, i downloaded lucky patcher and the modded google play.
i have dont some stuff and once the google play store got 'uninstalled' i wiped the phone and now i cant find a way to revert it. so now no matter what (after a factory reset and multipul datawipes) the google play store is missing from my phone (its like it was uninstalled).
is it possible to revet this?
if so can someone please help me?

Hi im new to this forum and new to rooting and that type of thing in general. I bought a rooted galaxy young 2 g130h to use and realized it has a custom rom and is missing key files like Google play wifi and data connection... practically nothing works besides calling. How would I go about reseting to at least factory settings (preferably getting su also ) thanx for your help in advance. Oh and I don't have access to a computer often so if it's possible with the least computer use possible
