Help me. especiall to those filipino XDA devs. My phone has always redirecting to systemrecoverymode. It happens after an unsuccessful sw update. I don't have cwm, twrp, and backup roms since i dont know how to use that. Can you suggest something so that i can use it without to service centers?

Hi ,
I've registered here just to post this question. I have Samsung Galaxy Pop mobile which is running on android OS 2.3.
I don't have any idea about rooting and all but came to know through google and I've successfully rooted my device.
It was working fine until I tried to update custom ROM. After installing and restarting my phone, it is showing android on screen but nothing happening.
Please let me know how to make it work.

You have soft bricked your phone...
Flash a official firmware through Odin...
Else if you have nandroid backup, you can restore that...

I got my lenovo a369i from a network supplier here in the Philippines,when I tried to do this update(what I mean is I updated my stock ROM to the latest firmware) it seems to erase my imei ,I never made a back up,I searched in so many forums like xda to recover my imei, but failed, is it possible that my provider blocked my phone from network access because I upgraded my ROM or is it just me that made a mistake for my phone to be bricked ?please responed.thanks,don't worry I won't ask how to unlock if am block,I just need to know if I was blocked..

Is it really possible to rewrite my imei? By the way ,I did the engineering mode doing the radio info,when I press send it does not respond,even failed to send msg does not show up, and by exploring the engineering mode I figured out that I don't have HSDPA /HSPA can't remember .. That is why I thought I am blocked.
Is it possible? Yes. But it is also illegal in many countries in the world.
Without the IMEI it won't register on the network. That is why it appears to be blocked. I would try flashing the stock software for the device but you may end up sending it in.
What do you mean by sending it in ?I don't remember my stock ROM version before I flash the latest firware ,but when I had hard time figuring out how to rewrite my imei I was forced to downgrade it,then I chose the s108 version,should I be able to rewrite it if I can flash the right ROM when I bought my device ? I really appreciate your replies,I just tried the terminal emulator but it doesn't seem to work..I'll try mtk tools later.I post u the result

Sorry I didn't know it used a mediatech chip. Those devices seldom have the stock firmware released.
When I say send it in I mean return it to where you got it.
Oh .. It was my bad not mentioning it to you ..I know there is someone who knew how to solve my problem ,for I have read in forums that imei issues are solved,maybe I just need to find the right forum that fits my situation, you are a great help to me anyway.

I can say there is a way to fix your IMEI but as it is illegal I cant tell you how. Google is your friend. Spend some time looking and I am sure you will find it.
Oh it's a relief ..I have been awake for 48 hours reading threads .. As me being a newbie having your replies helped me a lot now I have more faith that I can solve this prob ..
One thing ,I read on a thread just now that maybe we can have a conversation with pm..and that won't be illigal ?or is it still ?

Hey guys!
I have a huge problem with my Wiko Rainbow. Several months ago I waanted to flash a cfw, ending up in having no IMEI... I've tried so many different possible solutions, but today I can't remember which of those had fixed the problem.
For months there were no issues with the phone at all, but yesterday after booting there was a pop-up saying "System-UI crashed". It opened over and over again when I closed it and there was no way to browse to Xposed-Settings (I believe that one of the plug-ins had forced the issue), so my first thought was to wipe all to factory settings. But doing so caused the missing IMEI-problem again. Because I couldn't remember wich solution worked for me in the past, I stupidly downloaded some IMEI backup files and restored them, thinking to edit an existing IMEI is easier than write a new one, but this led to my situation now: the phone doesn't boot anymore, it keeps stuck in the WIKO-logo screen forever. Wiping data via recovery menu doesn't work, and the phone isn't recognized by my pc anymore, so I'm not able to flash a different rom or use the WIKO Updating Tool anymore...
So PLEASE help me bringing my phone to life again! I really don't know what to do know! Is it possible to fix my mistake? Or is it bricked for good??

Guys I'm not seeing this phone anywhere on this site, and I'm beginning to wonder if I made a mistake ordering it. I even went on the webiste to look for support and THEY dont even have their phone listed there.
I'd like to have different rom options and perhaps the ability to root it. I can't even find firmware anywhere for it.

Hi, One of our games is having multiplayer issues on Google Play due to it not supporting Lolipop.
We figured we would take our Galaxy SM-G900x phone that a client sent us and then using the info that iorya984 posted would do the trick.
Now the phone can still be readied for download with Odin but on boot up it asks for Kies to fix a botched upgrade.
Any help on this would be massively appreciated! We really do not want to buy a new phone. Even if we could flash it with the original SM-G900x rom I would be happy. (save us having to buy 2 phones.)
