Hi! I'm a newbie here but I flashed my Note 8 to 4.4.4 Kitkat custom rom and im loving it. Though I need your help as I need Polaris Office back to my Note 8 before flash of custom rom. I tried the one in playstore but its unlike the one in the samsung galaxy apps store in which you could save to the device itself and unfortunately the threads and downloads of apk available are for older versions which lack some functionality. So with that may I please request to everyone to please post an extracted "Polaris Office 5.0 for Tablet" apk from the galaxy app store in the thread and also to help others in the same dillema as me. (Note: Polaris Office 5 from S4 or phones are different from the one mentioned above) The help would be very much appreciated.

Sorry, I don't know how to make it work for another rom.
Use kingsoft office, it's completely free and is the absolute best office program. There are no comparisons!

Can the Samsung App store not be accessed on your tablet? I have never run CM on the tablet before so not sure of the limitations.
Here is the newest one from my tablet. Might give it a try just for kicks and see if it installs different.

I own this mobile and mine is stock rom DDKC4. Most probably there will not be any new updates for this phone other than this. Actually this phone is a medium range phone and no one will be interested to
do more in this rom . I too waited for a long time for an update . Stock rom having lot of bugs . Don't know why this much bugs in a stock rom . Battery backup is very poor in this stock rom .
If anyone found any new roms pls kindly inform in this forum . Not for the latest rom but for the bug free rom .

If your phone can go in DOWNLOAD MODE,then use "ODIN MULTIDOWNLOADER VERSION 4.38" and flash with suitable ROM.

Perhaps you have version 2.2.2 (FROYO). Version 2.3.6 (GINGERBREAD) is available. Kindly go to "enzag.com/technology/android/how-to-upgrade-samsung-galaxy-pro-b7510-to-gingerbread/". Please use the correct version. I am using version for ASIA and is fantastic.

GOOGLE "clockworkmod 2 for galaxy pro" and visit "CIDTUX". Clockworkmod recovery for GALAXY MINI is used for PRO. I am using that, however I differed from the process mentioned their to the extent that I did not flash the BOOT IMAGE. I only use OPS and RECOVERY. Everything fine.

Wonder why if CWM from GM works on PRO, CyanogenMod doesnt?
If we have unlocked bootloader and recovery then we can PORT from Galaxy Mini.

I am about to buy a high specs EXYNOS 5410 Octa core pad need to know if there are any available ROOT exploit for this device which is non SAMSUNG brand. A google search keeps cropping up with SAMSUNG rooting exploits for Exynos 5410 (there is a life after SAMSUNG you know)
My best bet will be for Chainfire EXYNOS ABUSE type of exploits, so Chainfire are you up to it? It should be easier for you.

Might as well stay away from that kinda of crap. No gapps? means no google playstore. Overly priced, I can buy the same stuff on China market for about USD125 and they are selling it here in US for over USD300?
I got a root right by Kingo Android Root.
Installing GApps:
- Install RootExplorer;
- Download gapps-jb-20130812-signed.zip (!);
- Unpacked in the internal memory folder ONLY gapps-jb-20130812-signed\system\app\ (!);
- After RootExplorer transferred all the system folder (for example "system/app/Gmail.apk");
- Changed permissions to rw-r--r-- (!);
- Turned off, turned on, there was a update application.
Profit!

What about the others anomalies freezes,and other problems? What do you experience by the way I can get it for about USD 125 only in Asia.
Geekbuying is sucking the blood out of its customers.

Again my question is how is the flashing process? what Flasher do we use? Methodology. Sorry about that but from my side I could not locate any information on the web to the flashing process. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am buying in the next 48hrs since I can get it for USD125 nothing like the USD300 that GeekBuying is selling. Might as well buy an APPLE/SAMSUNG at that price.

Oh! I got it it is the same process as my ZENITHINK devices update through sdcard with power+key combination. (in this case the V button) please try the Exynos Rooting file I have attached for you and feedback it is an .apk file that you install on the pad and run it from there.

Yeah ur Exynos Abuse does not work for the Exynos 5410 .
This seems only to work on the 4412 on my T7 and T7s Tablets.

Yeah il contact the TeamGee boys and ask if they have some other method to root this tablet again with the new ROM..

a) Regarding the GPS test: Just seing some sats does not mean the gps works well. Please wait until it finds a position (sats USED >0) and wait for about 10 minutes if it KEEPS the fix (sats used stays >0 for the entire 10 minutes without going back to 0. Also take a look at accuracy.
b) The freezes that are reported might be due to CPU overheating. Please download droidfish from the market, let it analyze a chess postion for 10 minutes and tell me if the system got frozen/crashed.

Hi Note 10.1 2012 users!
I am looking for a custom ROM which would have decent stability without serious bugs. I need to use my gt-n8010 with an app that requires at least Android 5.0. The Bluetooth connection must work without any problems as well. Could you recommend something of a decent quality?
I have been trying to google but lots of links do not work these days. Bliss seems not to publish lollipop for 8010 anymore.
My Note is already rooted and with custom recovery software so I am ready to install a custom ROM I believe

Thank you JJEgan. The link you shared is for 4.4.2 and what I need is at least 5.0 but better 5.1 or 5.1.1. I will try to look around the forum. I am very new here and a bit frighten of what do download in order not to brick my device :-;

The only problem I have is that the most wanted app that I have I cannot see videos played. Could it be due to lack of some video codecs?
I have been trying to install some different videoplayers like MX player and VLC player but this does not help.
Any idea how to fix that?
