[Q] Samsung Fascinate CF-Root

Hello all, noob question here.
I was reading through this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399 to determine which CF-root to download. I checked under my phone settings to see my kernel version, but it only says 2.6.35.7.
Could someone advise me on which file I must download?

Hello you can download any one of those files the 3 links are from the oldest versions of the cf root and version 5 is the latest the one you should download
to your phone.

The device is only available as a grey-market import in the USA so far.
BTW, many of Samsung's ICS recoveries have permitted flashing zips signed with testkeys - You may be able to install SuperSU directly from stock recovery without flashing any custom recover or kernels! It depends - that "hole" might be closed on the Note 10.1

(Request) Polaris Office 5.0 for Tablet on Custom ROM Note 8 Kitkat

Hi! I'm a newbie here but I flashed my Note 8 to 4.4.4 Kitkat custom rom and im loving it. Though I need your help as I need Polaris Office back to my Note 8 before flash of custom rom. I tried the one in playstore but its unlike the one in the samsung galaxy apps store in which you could save to the device itself and unfortunately the threads and downloads of apk available are for older versions which lack some functionality. So with that may I please request to everyone to please post an extracted "Polaris Office 5.0 for Tablet" apk from the galaxy app store in the thread and also to help others in the same dillema as me. (Note: Polaris Office 5 from S4 or phones are different from the one mentioned above) The help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Thanks for the file but it seems that the tablet version has more files in the system folder for it to work, the back-up is corrupt, or the app release version has some problems. The current version according to galaxy apps website is 5.0.5406.11 and the version in the file is 5.0.5404.11, I hope you wouldnt mind to re-upload again with the new version or/and also upload if ever you see additional polaris office files in the system as they might be needed to be pushed into the system too to work. Sorry, I don't know how to make it work for another rom.

Use kingsoft office, it's completely free and is the absolute best office program. There are no comparisons!

Can the Samsung App store not be accessed on your tablet? I have never run CM on the tablet before so not sure of the limitations.
Here is the newest one from my tablet. Might give it a try just for kicks and see if it installs different.

NX 2.0.0 ROM for MOTO G
Very nice rom, its been a week now that I am using this rom. Is there any way to remove the google+ and some other apps included in this ram. I tried root uninstaller apps, but no success.

i did clean flashing but still am getting no sim in second sim notification area... is it problem with cm or nx rom???

Installed v9.6.2 performance is good but i faced one problem, got a message notification when i tried to unlock phone to see it the phone became unresponsive. When i restarted my phone the message notification and message was gone and phone booted in default theme and the installed theme got deleted!

If you have an MSM8916 (Qualcomm Snapdragon processor) tablet (It has to be this, otherwise I will ignore your requests), post the name of the device, a link to the official Samsung stock ROM (you can try looking here https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/deviceDesignationHere/), a link to the stock kernel ( search here http://opensource.samsung.com/recep...d=sub&sub=F&searchValue=deviceDesignationHere). Replace deviceDesignationHere with the device code (e.g T377P) and the build.prop as well (pull it from the system using adb pull /system/build.prop).

It's right there in the OP.
Samsung always publishes the kernel, so I'll need a link to that and the build prop to get started at the very least on twrp.
I'll need either a twrp backup of the stock ROM or a link to it to build lineage os.

Here's a link to the firmware, now I finally have the device and got a better look at it through settings. Came with 6.0.1 MM

These are all for the T560NU . You should run `adb shell cat /system/build.prop` and save that output in a file. If it still says your device is a T560NUU, then you can just go ahead and download TWRP andthe rom from the other thread.

Sure looks like TN560NUU to me.
Is 6.0.1 rootable? Is there un-root for this device if I want to un-root and flash and revert back to stock?
