MIUI is based on CyanogenMod so until and unless CyanogenMod isn't developed MIUI is still far away.
The FreeXperia Team is developing CM10 for Tipo and it still has a few problems as of now so wait for a stable release of CM10 and then the ROMSs will start coming.

Option58 is also porting for Miro, but he based it on FXP's cyanogen again.

ok, copy this files from MIUI ROM to base rom
from Lib
libandroid_runtime.so
libsqlite.so
libsqlite_jni.so
If you did use the libraries of base rom if the problem persists I would ask you to please pass me you did the rom, MIUI rom and BASE rom could help more ^ ^

uhmm maybe the problem is phone.apk (Apk damaged. ) search other MIUI ROM and use phone.apk from this one.
And use telephonyprovider.apk from rom basis

MIUI is an user interface,a theme that goes on top of the rom....
It doesn't matter if you will put MIUI over AOSP,Cyanogenmod,Stock ROM or AOKP...
I chose to put over FXP because it is Jellybean and Cyanogenmod......But works only with unlocked bootloader....
Okay I ported MIUI to Tipo succesfully, but I get same error (process.google.phone has stopped)...I used SaOSsinX's MIUI port for Arc...
Any help....

SAme problem with my porting
i have been trying to port the Paranoid android Rom for xperia miro recently :cyclops: but havent been very succesfull . i have tried the various ways found over the net but the closest i got was to a Bootloop.In two other instances an Error 6 and an Error 7 while flashing.
i was using FXP 205 as base Rom an the PA released for the xperia devices (2.5 me thinks)
If any body is willing to help i can post the logcats for the errors..
i really wanted to use the Pie controls and at the moment cant afford a nexus so any help will be appreciated.:angel:

It allows you to use pie.
I have managed to port PA 3 to miro.although a little buggy at the moment but all the core processes are working fyn..

Hey Raj, Can you help me out. Camera is not working in my port. I guess i did not replace properly some of camera libs?
take these libs from cm10.1 build of beni and put them in ur rom package file(system/lib)

MIUI & SlimBean has been ported by UltragamerHD BUT gsm does not work....so its cancelled i think...

its not uploaded by anyone ... about 4 people made/ported it...but none can get the gsm working ......
It has to be built from source ..... it will be like making cm11(lots of experience required)

I understand, so its not a easy job to fix the gsm :crying: Do you know which dev.s also ported the miui rom ? I talked with UltragamerHd, he said that he was giong to try to solve the problem. I did some research for him, but now I not hear anything from him anymore .
there need to be someone that can port the MIUI rom with gsm working

i dont remember....(long time ago)
all the experienced devs had done the porting...sooo no use now.... most progress was made by ultragamerhd ....so its almost a dead end
Far as I know, MIUI isn't built from source - it's ported or PatchROM is used to build it.
@UltraGamerHD How'd you build it? PatchROM or manual porting? I tried PatchROM, but it wanted a connection to my phone, which couldn't be done via VM.

The CM10 we use as base is the problem, nothing more. It refuses to work and I'm getting extremely tired of this ****. Doesn't take away that there might be a small chance this will work, so all the best wishes in the world!

Doesn't MIUI PatchROM use stock as a base? I think you need Termin or something, not CM10.
Patchrom sucks and requires some more knowledge about smali porting. It uses stock and cm base as well, AOSP base is the best option.

I try to port MIUI, but with a failure because when the phone starts it force close MIUI HOME.apk. so I get a message like. 'MIUI home ıs not responding' en ofcourse the GSM is not working.,,
Anyone have a solution ???

find another home.apk from other miui versions ..... is home.apk missing support files? ...i think your missing the extra support files for themes and stuff or it may be incompatible ...try other versions
BUT!!!
the main thing you need to get working is gsm and wifi ....try and get them running first

the file is not missing in the rom, I try to instal manually but I can not opene anything just settings en notification bar. So I can not instal anything
what kind of extra support files for themes and where can I get them and how can I install them. Im new to this kind of things so I have no Idea how to do it
Indeed major problem is gsm and wifi, if those dont work than the phone has no use. @UltraGamerHD is also trying to fix this. I think he will have more luck fixing it than me :good:

You have to copy all libshell*.so files to system/lib folder and Edit Kernel to add shelld which should be in system/xbin in init.rc.
