For these 2 parts, I recommend you to ACTUALLY put those bugs and install guide in here, as it will help new users + it's more usefull than switching from thread to thread every time.
+1 I already put down a link to this on the Facebook page for (Tipo, and now also Miro) users. We got a doc over there with a few links to mods. tweaks, and yea, roms.

Hah did that because I was lazy
As always I need testers to see if works (and report bugs related to MIUI)

OK, I have Uploaded all parts! Now start flashing and report bugs!
PS: I can not flash it myself yet because I need to get my Miro to service....I can not lose warranty

First see if rom boots, then check rom manager,camera,MIUI apps....Post detailed review here...Make some screenshots...Anyone wanna do it?

MIUI ROM for Galaxy S2 Plus [ I9105P ]

Hi guys, I know I already posted about this but there was no replay so I guess I wrote in the wrong section. So here is what I found - there is a MIUI ROM for Galaxy Grand Duos which is using the same Brоadcоm IV chipset so if there is some developer that can do the other stuff and make a port for S2 Plus it would be awesome. Yeah, it is something but it is not like to have the real ROM . But I hope soon we will have we have a guy that told he will try to port

Can you give link to working CM10.2? Afaik there is only CM10.1 for 9105P?

It is not so simple, dude. The guy told he will try but it will take a lot of time maybe. If somebody can help it will be great.

It would be so awesome if this could be ported. I tried a few times myself but I am no dev so I failed miserably.

Tried to port also... First got error 7 in cwm... Fixed update script...then boot loop also... Good luck!!

mine got stucking everytime at samsung galaxy sii plus logo must get logcat via adb
P.S We must get custom kernel that allows to boot tu miui
at the stuck at bootlogo someone must do logcat via adb, can't get it to work. seems very hard to port

2 times... i got boot loop at miui logo (i was porting from 2 differnet builds).

can you upload your build if you are at miui logo i can do logcat and we can see which error is causing the boot loop

I need Dev. help to port cm11 to Xperia E... It can be done becuase the Xperia Tipo has got it.
I will be willing to provides anything the developer need, even if he does not have the phone!

I know... now the roles are reversed. Now UltraGamerHD is porting the ROM and I (along with many others) am the one waiting...

Well i heard UltragamerHD ran into problems on cm11
he said something about boot animation running at 2fps something like that (may god show him the right path!)
what about nsdcars5 ?? did he stop?

@lozohcum also makes the source "Tamsui" and succeeded him, is now working on patches.
Why do not you ask him about the bug fixes and other members of Tamsui?

for nanhu (xperia E), it's little different with Tamsui devices (jlo, mesona & tapioca), you can look it from it's product code classification.
let's call it's half tamsui, it's use same msm7x27a, but nanhu really have different codes in kernel.
Developing kitkat ROMs for nanhu, need more efforts than regular tamsui devices.

what about other devices like xperia C,L,M are they half breed like xperia E ,or is xE adopted from an orphanage ?
If xE is related to C,L,M, cant C,L,M parts be used for E?

as you can see E,L,M,SP have differents MSM SoC and C use Mediatek.
some parts can be use, some parts not.

I use the xperia e, and I don't doubt it's performance. IT shows me well, and so should yours, but if you like the idea of all of us 'developing together'... That's not possible, sorry.
In life, the five zones show: the secure zone, the blip secure zone, the half half zone, the not trusted ops, and then the unsecure people. We are on that line of rights that we can ONLY give ideas and report bugs, and of course donate. Never in life have the public been given rights to develop something not on their license. I hope you understand that.
Anyways, I hope this goes well; but is there any way you can port a Sony 4.4.2 firmware from a different phone allowing a more limited android 4.4 update for this phone, giving us a basic experience whilst cm11 is under works. Just an idea...

I guess we do require a base Rom such as cm11 to port 4.4.2 . So,I guess no.
But maybe someone can port 4.1.2 from Xperia m to our device

Did I misinterpret your reply, or you didn't understand my post?
For the time you are working on cm11 , you should port is a stock 4.3/4.4 firmware to use whole your working on the cm11.

i have tried to port cyanogenmod for our device
I have not included any custom kerne in rom so it is obvious that you can resore your phone via cwm recovery

i have not included any kernel so it will automatically use the stock kernel already on your phone

nope i am busy with my own rom which is full of damn good features

Okk its confirmed that the rom boots and reaches till bootanimation so cyanogenmid boots up on our device
I need other devs to help me with the bootloop problem

Guys I'm working on porting a MIUI ROM from S3 I have done everything except updater script as I don't know how to properly edit it so please can someone help me to compare and edit updater scripts please pm me.

I have attached 3 updater scripts ( scripts.zip) and screen shots of the fc
the problem is there are four symlink errors how to fix that please ANYBODY

Oh fatal system error. It's hard to fix. Try replacing system/bin/app_process from your base rom.

Your rom is already boot ???

maybe u should use patchrom mathod for building miui ... its better and less buggy method

internet connection is pretty slow so can't download Ubuntu and other things that's also why I've still not uploaded the ROM.

i9300 use exynos 4 core cpu so why you can port it ???

don't know why but it booted and I think the Miui sostk ported was also ported for the ace2 from S3 and even after the difference between CPU it worked. and if you know a device with similar specs with ours (that has a miui port) tell me I will look.
