This ROM is based on Samsung Official NF1 Firmware (Android Kit Kat 4.4.2)
Wonitor's MIUI support N9005, N9006 and N9008. Please note that N9008 will be unable to use 3G Function!

The ROM is ported by the Chinese developer called Wonitor. I am only in charge of maintaining the English thread here as many of you do not know how to look at the Chinese thread. However, you may still ask me any questions regarding this ROM. If I cannot answer you, I will ask Wonitor and get back to you. Hopefully other nice people who know how to solve the problem can help too!

Install Instruction
1. Make sure you have 4.4 kitkat bootloader before going further!
2. Flash the latest PhilZ recovery (I used 6.48.4)
3. Boot up into the recovery and Wipe these in order. Factory Data Reset --- Wipe Cache --- Wipe Dalvik Cache (in advanced menu) --- Go to mount and storage and Wipe /System.
4. Now flash the MIUI zip file
5. Reboot
(IF YOU WANT GOOGLE PLAY STORE PLEASE CONTINUE TO STEP 6!! MAKE SURE YOU REBOOT FIRST!!!)
6. So after the booting up and setting up MIUI, reboot into PhilZ recovery.
7. Flash this Gapp from this link (Thanks @gianton for link) https://mega.co.nz/#!MRBzhSrB!-lXKlFqamIQwjE5pZNRbLo5C44bAhXYIn8wnOTHFlb8 This Gapp will not cause OTA update to fail! Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache --- Flash Gapp --- Wipe Cache and Dalvik --- Reboot!
Note : Gapp will provide Google Play Store and Gmail. If you want more google app, download it from google play store.
Note : The Step Above I provided is how I install MIUI and have woking OTA and working GPS.

Can you clean install again using my installation method? You may be used other way to get Gapp and deleted you provision.apk. If you follow my way, you will have no problem updating.

I bet you installed Google Apps, right?
This removes the provision.apk file from the "system/app" folder of your phone, and this prevents OTA Update.
To fix this, open your MIUI ROM .zip file (hopefully you didn't delete it) and navigate to system --> app -> provision.apk...now copy the provision.apk file from there and copy it to your phone, to "system/app/"....reboot once and done! The next time you try to OTA Update should work now
You might need a file explorer with root to browse through system.

- Even "smoother" now. Watch the animations of opening and closing folders (they had under 30fps before, now it is more). Also UI transition effects are much more fluid now. Maybe because of new Lean Kernel, not sure

Bluetooth
Insert the Bluetooth Dongle and wait for it to initialize. The led on the dongle will start blinking after successful initialization ( If LED is Stable then plug out and plug in again). After then go to Settings and Start the Bluetooth.
PS3 Gamepad
Connect your PS3 controller via cable to your tablet and Press the PS button on the controller. Check the working of the controller by moving the left Analog Stick
ICS Bar - Unhide
Go to settings>Display>FullScreenMode and select Smart Screen Mode in it and you will get the ICS Bar Back.

Tried Asphalt 6. Running smooth as butter! Much better than Stock.
Tried out HD Videos (1080p), plays fine, without any lag.

ONLY TESTED USING TWRP 2.7.1.1/2.8.0.0 - NOTE there was a buggy release of 2.7.1.1 that doesn't play nice with the update-binary in my zip. If any issue flashing/booting first verify MD5 and then flash latest TWRP linked towards the bottom of this page http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/grouper. Should also flash fine under CWM but I personally prefer TWRP. A future update may move to the newer update-binary and updater-script files used in ROMs compiled from source like CM.
May need to unplug and replug USB cable to see Nexus 7 storage under My Computer! (or toggle MTP in Settings --> Storage --> Menu button in upper right)
If coming from STOCK 4.4/4.3 I can't think of a need to wipe - otherwise if issue or coming from another ROM (PA, CM, etc.) please do a data wipe and cache/dalvik-cache wipe
GApps are the stock ones that come with this tablet - no need to flash GApps.
You will see a BUNCH of updates when you sign into Google if you've wiped Data - results in an initial slowdown.
Before you ask, no ART doesn't appear to be working. I will make a new AOSP-based ROM for 4.4.4 for those wanting ART.

To keep SuperSU toast notifications from causing any lag I go into SuperSU settings and uncheck Show notifications
In Settings --> Location I set mode to Battery saving. There's a lot to tweak here but this is all I've been setting.
In Settings --> Security under DEVICE ADMINISTRATION I uncheck Verify apps and check Unknown sources (mostly for Titanium Backup purposes)
I use AdAway to block ads (it edits your HOSTS file). No longer available on the Play Store (guessing because Google doesn't like the fact it blocks Google Ads...). I install the APK from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190753. I just use the defaults works well.

Does auto-rotate works in this ROM? I tried stock + Go launcher and auto-rotate don't work, but only work when manual set to Horizontal or Vertical from Go launcher setting!

At time of writing the one to use is pa_gapps-full-4.4-20131118-signed.zip just flash it in recovery! Also be sure to turn on Google Now.

Just added this to OP - charging issue is always bootloader as far as I know

Xposed still doesn't support 4.4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 But I will keep an eye on it! This is the first I've heard of it. Google \is moving away from all of the ICS blue theming everywhere, so you will see lots more white in 4.4...

Thanks! My ultimate goal was to get a stock 4.4 where rotation works and the keyboard doesn't pop when going home from other apps (the stock rom PA released was awesome though if you ignore those things and came out WELL in advance of OTA)... To do that I had to wait for the OTA and then it took me 5-6 days learning edify and how to use the kitchen
I will try to get the google experience (I believe it is Launcher3.apk?) working if I cut a new release, and look into getting ART available in dev settings.
I just connected my nexus to my laptop to move a few files but it doesn't pop up on my laptop like it used to so I can't move things via the USB cable

I tried this. computer displays 2 extra drives but doesnt detects it ergo cant read or write.
Can u elaborate on d on cm 10.2 bugs n list all of them.. And delete those which r striked.. Just a suggestion

here we got the hint. Means, Computer is able to detect and mount the Storage but right for reading and writing isn't given by Mobile.

I found a little bug which is not listed, the browser fc when you try to open incognito tab.

I found a Deadly Bug:
1) when i re-boot phone, phone stuck at Samsung Galaxy R LOGO screen & unable to reboot phone :crying: ....
so i wipe data again (in cwm Recovery) and then it boot properly.
2) when i try to install apk it say's,"can't open file"
see the screenshots.
please try to fix this bugs in your next Build & i hope this information is helpful to make ROM stable
& sorry i post this same in general thread also, my mistake

You wiped data in "cwm" recovery. So u using clockworkmod. And thats known that it doesnt boot properly with cwm. Thats why op told to use TWRP. Try that.

It is necessary to use twrp or latest philz recovery.
Regarding the install problem download any file manager from play store and using that you can install the apk.
Nikhil you can add this in the bug list, Installing apk from downloads isn't working.

Yes confirmed about the camera it gets stuck if you change picture size, after restarting the app it works.
Yes you can install apk from any file manager but not from downloads.
In stock browser. I have activated quick controls in tabs you can open incognito tab but when do it, it fc.

this is what I get from the v2 link
Invalid or Deleted File.
The key you provided for file access was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on MediaFire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or MediaFire.

If anybody isn't happy with what was removed in the debloated version, then flash the test version and add the mods you want.
One things for sure, everybody should be very thankful that we have ram9200 here for us, or we would all be stuck on stock. Deodexing and mods aren't as simple as they used to be before lollipop. I tried deodexing 5.0.2 and had a bunch of issues with fc. So let's be thankful and hit his thanks button every time you see him post please. He at least deserves that.

After upgrading to OF7 - bootup and go to software update to take the OTA OFE (I don't know if this is necessary, but it seemed Kosher so I did it)
ODIN Ram's TWRP 5.1.1
Boot into TWRP; Wipe (cache,dalvik,system,data); flash Ram's OFE to get all the juiciness of his work (finally!!) and any mods. Restart system and profit from my mistakes... lol

I’m presenting my 1st ported ROM MIUI6_v5.7.9 for Xolo Q3000, with special thanks to:
1)Xolo for the awesome phone at affordable price,

I haven't take any permissions from you guys, I'm sorry for that, but your work is all credited to you, so, please forgive me.
Pre-requisites:
1)Custom recovery such as TWRP, CWM, PhilzTouch(TWRP 2.8.4 rev2 prefered, as I've tested rom using this recovery)
2)Before proceeding, Back up your Current Rom (Failsafe).
3)/System minimum 1gb partition (Repartition your phone, before you flash this ROM).
4)SP Flash Tools & Stock rom (In case, If you are in trouble).
Procedure:
1)Put the downloaded MiuiV6_5.7.9_By_SmiLeToLiFe.zip in sd card.
2)Delete any files from previously installed rom from sd card & phone storage (especially /android/data folder).
3)Reboot to Recovery using root apps or by pressing (PowerOn + VolumeUp) key combination.
4)Wipe /system, /data, /cache, Dalvik Cache, Android Secure using Advanced Wipe.
5)Install MiuiV6_5.7.9_By_SmiLeToLiFe.zip
6)Don't reboot system, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache & Press Home button.
7)Immediately, Install the MIUI6_5.7.9_Patch.zip
8)Again, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache.
9)Reboot System.
10)1st boot may take 3-5 minutes (Screen will be a boot animation not a Boot Logo. If you stuck at Boot Logo, then go to recovery & flash the rom again).
WARNING:I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE. EVEN THOUGH, I'VE TESTED & USING IT ON MY DEVICE. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Hats off for ur work..nice and lagfree rom...wifi working for me...found a bug...in sound can't open audio setting got fc for setting. And only thing I miss the keypad notification light for msg and miss call..any way to get that..and how much is the camera pixel..

Notification lights are limited to LED lights, to enhance battery life.
Camera capacity was not shown in megapixels, but MIUI utilizes full camera capacity (supported by Hardware).
Perfect port bro, everything working fine, rom is smooth n stable, found some bugs like fc settings when opening audio settings

I guess!! you haven't wiped cache & Dalvik Cache before/after installing update. So, it's showing same version no. even after update.
Missing icons are due to lacunae in stock kernel( I've tried a lot, but Needs custom kernel)
