I updated from CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 to CM10.2 Android 4.3 on my Galaxy note 2 SPH-L900 and was using the Xposed framework. I oped the app and normally where it says "Install" it said "Xposed has not been tested on Android SDK version 18." i was using Xposed for the "netflix CM10.1 workaround." So my questions is 1. How can i fix this so netflix is working again 2. Do i have to wait for a new Xposed version? or netflix framework to be compatable woth android 4.3 and the new sdk? I know i could go back to CM10.1 but stupid me and i forgot to make a backup.

For me it works great, but I use only App Settings and Greenify modules.
So did KitKat severely break Pie? It surprises me that no Roms have it yet. Since I am not a dev, I don't know the specifics as to how KitKat differs from Jellybean. Any word on the progress of pie? I cannot get LMT RC6 to work properly on KK ROMs. Thanks

Pie? Are you talking about pie touch controls? If so it's in several ROMs and can be added to stock rom with xposed framework and GravityBox.If you're talking about something else entirely then igore this post.
Pie originated with paranoid android. Since they haven't released a rom yet no pie. What does lmt not do for you? Working fine for me.

I bought a nexus 5, should arrive this week, to be activated on straight talk. Being a nexus 7 owner, I already know how custom Roms and kernels can help the device be more speedy.
Since the nexus 5 is already a fast device, is a custom ROM really needed? Or would xposed framework modules be sufficient enough along with optimized bionic and dalvik patches.
As for kernels, same question. I don't intend on over clocking, but is there any other advantage?

For me I'm happy with stock rooted plus xposed. I removed the optimized bionic and dalvik patches as I couldn't run asphalt 8 without it.
I use custom ROM but close to stock as possible, with a custom kernel for additional controls over hardware and xposed Gravity to customize layouts.
If you're going to change ROMS for speed, there's honestly no point. The battery, speed, etc, are all great on stock .

After getting the device a couple months ago, I was on stock with xposed and franco for the first month. I decided to try out some custom ROMs but ultimately came back to stock. Xposed gives me all the customization I need.

I've had my Nexus 5 for about 2 weeks now. I previously had a Samsung Galaxy S4 that was rooted with Xposed & Wanam Xposed and several other modules. When I came to Nexus 5, I unlocked the bootloader, but haven't flashed any other ROMs yet. I am running stock KitKat with Xposed & GravityBox installed. I am loving it. Also using a few other xposed modules like Crappalinks, etc. Gravitybox does about everything I need and I think I am about to donate to get the newly added "light flow" like features. Great Module!
I am also running the Franco Kernel & have installed the optimized Dalvik & Bionic. Phone is smooth as butter. Of course I'm using the Donation version of Greenify also. I've read up on quite a few Custom ROMs, but right now I don't see any major advantage to flashing one. Gravitybox & other Xposed modules give me all I need. Samsungs Knox & and AT&T's locked bootloader drove me away from the S4. Even though I don't have a custom ROM right, I always have the option if something great comes out. N5 is great because it's so open. Custom Recovery was a big deal for me also. TWRP all the way! Good luck with the phone when it arrives. You are going to love it!

Not really trying to initiate a "best ROM" thread, just seeing if custom Roms are worth it.
On my nexus 7 I've found stock, elementalx kernel for OC, xposed, and the optimized patches worked best. Wasn't sure if this was also true for the nexus 5.

I've been trying to get HK theme manager to work on Viper rom. I can't seem to get it to locate any of the cm10 themes. I'm going to assume that its not compatible with sense. Anyone have any experience with HK theme manager with a sense based rom? Thanks in advance

HK theme manager is an xposed modular that allows for cm 10 and cm 10.1 themes to work on devices. Now with that being said I have used it on GPE based rom and it worked perfectly fine but on a sense based rom I've run into this issue

And im thinking its because gpe is still aosp in a sense. And sense is basically its own entity. Im not sure though because ive never used it.
what 5.02 rom can be a substitute for a 4.4.4 with xposed and gravitybox?
IF there is no such thing yet, what rom already have at least Sleep toggle, switch Back and Recent buttons on navigation bar, and possibility to install some adaway app.

Xposed and gbox don't work on lollipop. There are multiple Roms that have these features. Read the op and flash away.

Cataclysm is a modified version of the stock ROM rather than AOSP so that should give you a similar experience to Xposed with GravityBox.
