Oops! Forgot about S-ON - HTC One S

Hey, I've not installed a custom ROM since the Htc Hero days. After installing Liberty ROM on my phone its now stuck at the boot screen as I forgot to unlock S-ON to S-OFF! How can I sort this? Or am i screwed?
I'm using liberty ROM and the phone is Unlocked.
It was originally a htc ONE S locked to O2.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

This problem happens over and over. Please read this thread and see post 2

No big deal. It's just amazing how many times it happens. I think the ROM developers should put this right at the top or something when talking about installing a ROM.

Thanks so much!! Now I can continue to play away without worry that I can't get it back to factory defaults .
it is thanks to you that after 2 weeks of having my phone messed up because of a cyanogen mod stuck in an endless boot with no help from anyone in any forum..that i finally have a working phone.
THANK YOU SIR. you are a king amongst ANTS.
Is there a way to extract the update.zip? I need this to fix my phone and running the exe doesn't detect my phone.
Edit:
Don't worry about it I figured it out and fixed my phone

Just curious, would this also revert my hboot to stock, if I have an AlphaRev s-off hboot?
Thanks!
Edit: I guess it's not really a big deal to fastboot a stock hboot anyways, so disregard my question =P
You are my HERO!!
Very nice! Hope I never have to go to a Telus ROM again but it's nicer to know I could if needed.

MANY THANKS.
one question. I am using HTC Desire which i got from EU. I am on FIDO and whenever i get a text message, it lags 4 hours. Does this issue exist on this ROM or on every HTC Desire here or its just FIDO/Rogers/T-Mobile problem?
Secondly, Are these ROOTED ROMS?

Sorry for the wrong section, well i did't do anything it was S-OFF from the start so i can't use that guide. Like i said i have already rooted one phone.
I really like this Rom and a couple of the others. But they're all pretty much no good to me without the WiFi calling app.

Since you're already S-OFF and have CWM installed, just go to Step 3 in the link I provided above:

Yes, the phone was S-Off already (so no need to re-do it), you added CWM (necessary) and then flashed a custom rom (which included the SU bit so it's rooted). Exactly the same as yours that you went through all the steps to get.

if you want us to try to help you, explain your condition. Like, S-OFF/S-ON, Hboot ?, Cid number? HTC Dev unlocked or not and maybe we can surely give you a link to a guide for your problem and some links for similar questions solved.
Maybe Xda should consider a sanction/warn etc for this kind of users that really don't search before opening a new threa.
haha, without the rom i dun think u can't flash it back. can't flash an empty folder hoping it turn into a stockrom.
try searching for a stock rom zip, sure there is one around here somewhere.
anyway why do u wan to restore it? the custom roms here are pretty nice.
Flashing a stock backup will not return you to S-ON. Nor will flashing a stock ROM have the same effect as returning to stock. You'll still be S-OFF/unlocked and probably rooted.
To return to stock you'll need a RUU. But like others have said, you'll need to provide more information before help can be provided.

Sorry for my incompetence. I'm S-ON and unlocked the boot with htcdev.com. what do you mean by cod number? Again sorry for being incompetent. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
The reason for me wanting to do this is because I would like to be able to get the ics update officially when it comes out with HTC sense cause I miss sense. Sad I know but this is what I'd like to do. I'm on orange and in the UK if that's more help.

These are classic symptoms of flashing a ROM for the International One X on the One XL. When you do that, you overwrite part of the boot partition for the phone so it cannot boot up.
This is potentially fixable if you have access to Linux computer and know what you're doing.
I have CWM, although in this particular installation I suggested installing via teamviewer will say yes, and restart the recovery, install normal success, and to give restart did not turn over, my phone is an HTC one X from at&t , my CID is 111111, reading forums I saw it was the supercid and accepted any rom ..
if I have a computer with linux, I can fix it?
... HTC One X and xl are completely different devices. It's like flashing a Vivid rom on your XL.
To be honest I have many roms on my computer, I download that the link the AOKP jellybean, the download forum HOX at&t rogers telstar, then it is assumed if I should serve, but not if it was by mistake upload another roms that I have saved, I have several of the international HOX because I thought I worked, but then I found out that no, then do not know what could have happened

no chance in hell that the aokp meant for the ONE XL hard bricked you no chance ... and your running CWM should be running teamwins recovery
So how I can fix it?
Yeaaa bro if your phone would even turn on you MAY have a chance. But if there is nothing what so ever except your reflection, then yea you've rendered it useless

Caution: I have not done this myself and do not vouch for it. But here's the explanation I've seen before:
beaups said:
when the device is bricked (qhusb mode), after pushing and holding power for ~10 seconds - in linux shortly thereafter all of the partitions will enumerate and expose themselves to linux for about 5 seconds (you'll see sdX1, sdX3, sdX8, about 30 partitions alltogether). During that quick 5 seconds you can DD whatever you feel like back to those partitions.
.
This is how I've recovered bricks. Corrupt hboot --> Brick device. DD back correct hboot while in this mode --> unbricked

You mentioned "icecoldjelly" in the first post. That's a ROM for the international version. If you flashed that at any point, that's your problem.

[Help] Installing Rom

Hey there!
I'm new in this forum so yeah, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. So, here I go.
I have the HTC Sensation 4G and I'm trying to install the ViperS Rom 1.6.3 but I have a problem. I do everything, leave things at default, etc. but when it finishes installing and everything I get stuck at the Boot Animation Screen and it won't do anything else. So I would like to know if there's something else I should do to install it and make it work.
My HTC Sensation 4G has root access and everything else already. I backed up everything before installing the room, but everytime I try, I get stuck at the same screen and it does absolutely nothing.
Is there some kind of tutorial or step-by-step topic about how to install a Rom with suggestiongs or things like that? I'd really love to make it work but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I hope someone can help me because I'm going crazy! haha x)
Thank you,
Erick
