I notice that several Rockstar games are not available for Galaxy S Relay. It probable that the phone doesn't have enough cpu power to run the games, but I notice that the games can be run using a Galaxy S2, which should be inferior to the S Relay. Anyone notice this issue have a fix? I tried using Market Helper to get around the issue, but it doesn't work and the developer appeared to have retired the app. I could also mess with build.prop but I rather not.
I was wondering. Has anyone actually requested Rockstar to support the device. Since there are quite a number of S Relay owners out there, I would think that someone must have already done so.

Which games? What ROM? Or are you pure stock?

Grand Theft Auto. Virtually all of them block Relay as a device. ROM is stock. Why? Does installing a different rom makes a difference?

I emailed Rockstar game and they didn't respond, it appears I won't be getting any Rockstar games . I believe there is a way around it. If you purchase the game on a compatible phone, then extract the apk using a utility call Raccoon and install it on the Galaxy S Relay phone.

Hi, I was wondering if there was any way to port Super Street Fighter into our android community. It seems to be very possible for those who possess multi touch android phones. I am a newb so correct me if I am stating something incorrectly. I have not seen this done yet so was wondering as to how possible it was. Also, it would be pretty cool if we were to take it up a notch and make the multiplayer option for all android compatible phones instead of specific ones like the iphone.

Is there something similar to Win mobile?
just download gensoid or snesoid from the market. they have both paid and lite versions. then google a rom site to download the super street fighter rom. i have it for gensoid but i will say that with touch screen some of the moves aren't as easy to pull off. you can also download rom buddy from the market if you don't find any good rom sites. good luck
Works pretty well on our TF101. Running Megatron ICS, no lags, though it could use more polished controls. $6.99 is pretty expensive

Bought on my G2x and sideloaded
had to pull the apk from my brothers gnexus but it is a beautiful game and the combat system is super unique
Can't even buy it in the Netherlands.. there's a seperate publisher on the store for us.. Which doesn't have it.
EA is pretty bad with Android though.. Wish they actually supported my tablet with PvZ and Peggle..
This. Game. Is. So. Sick.

Are you f**king serious, not compatible with TF101..... Why? Runs weep for me...
bought it but can't install on my Transformer nor SGS2. Could someone send me an APK file?
Bought from market on my atrix 4g and moved apk from atrix to tf101 via wifi shared drive. Apk installed on tf101 flawlessly, downloaded data, and game runs perfectly.
tf101 megatron 1.1.6 guevor 20.1
How do I remove the apk. file from my SGS2 where I purchased the app?
I have a non rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 where I purchased Mass Effect Infiltrator and now I want to copy the apk. to my Galaxy Tab 10.1 so can someone please tell me where to find the apk. file? I opened up the SGS2 in Windows and downloaded the file under Android/data/masseffectinfiltrator but it doesn't appear to be the apk. so haven't tried placing it on the Tab yet. If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Also need to know where to place it on the Tab? Thanks again.
Just picked this up, didnt know it wasnt compatible as I was looking on my DroidX (love how its compatible with that and not my transformer, ugh) but its on sale right now for $.99 as is Grand Theft Auto 3 and NBA Jam, Grand Theft is compatible but NBA Jam and this are not, glad that I should be able to move over the APK and install it on my Transformer, hope that works with NBA Jam as well

Please can anyone tell me if its possible to downgrade my tab2 to gingerbread, at the moment its on jelly bean cm10, I only use this tab as a games machine and almost every game ive put on it won't work.I have a galaxy player 5 wifi and it plays anything I throw at it.If I can't downgrade then I may as well give the tab to my local charity shop.If I buy windows7 then I can run old software in compatiblity mode, why can't I do this with android?.It seems to me that ICS and JB are a complete waste of time, resource hungry and not very stable. Thanks in advance for any help
They likely aren't compatible with your tablet because the game developers haven't put support for it in the game. Downgrading to Gingerbread, even if it were possible, wouldn't fix this. The game would likely run just fine on the tablet, but the market is setup to allow/deny on a device by device basis, and the game developers apparently haven't allowed whatever model you have. I'm also guessing that you probably didn't bother contacting any of the game developers to see if they would support the tablet? That would have been more useful than posting here.
downgrade
Thanks for your reply,I did contact a lot of developers and almost all of them said that because the games were old as they put it, there was no point in modifying them to work on newer versions of android, the bottom line is that i have wasted a lot of money paying for games that are not backwards compatible with new version of the android os.I'm very disappointed as this tablet for all intents and purposes is nothing but a door stop.

How can something be "backwards compatible" with a newer version? And my tablet works just fine for me and several others. I'm guessing that you could install the games and they would work fine on the tablet, just that the developer(s) don't want to try and test them on the newer versions of Android. In the end, all they're doing is hurting themselves and losing money.

What I meant by backwards compatible is that I can run win98 or xp software on a windows 7 machine so why can't I run gingerbread software on jelly bean or ICS.And your right they are losing money my money!!,if I can't get gingerbread or honeycomb on this tab then its history and I shall be looking at an ipad, from what i've seen anything runs on an ipad no matter how old it is,dont get me wrong I'm not slagging off android but this tablet isn't fit for the purpose that I bought it for.I know this probably isnt the right place but my wifes iphone runs 3 year old software on ios6.So if anyone can tell me how to get gingerbread or honeycomb on this tablet I will be forever in their debt because they will stop me from going over to the dark side which I don't really want to do.
Backwards compatible would mean that it is meant for ICS or Jelly Bean but runs on Gingerbread, Froyo, or something older, not the other way around. And whatever games or apps you want to run likely would work fine on the tablet running ICS or Jelly Bean, but the developer is probably to lazy to even try and test it, or allow people to download it. Then again, since you think forward compatibility is the same as backwards compatibility, I wouldn't expect you to know much about how the market is setup to allow/deny apps on devices.

I can see that I'm flogging a dead horse here, my original post said that I tried all these games and apps already and they dont work with jb or ics, which is why I want to downgrade,my tab2 is now wedging the door open and I have gone back to my galaxy player 5.0 on gingerbread, the tab2 is going on ebay and the first bid over a fiver gets it.
Why not try device spoofer as last resort or changing build prop file
But make a nandroid backup first
What are the names of games you try to operate?
No gingerbread in tab2, as the device sell with ics out of the box, may be try tab1

I really like the idea of Ouya gaming console. Ive been toying with the idea of buying one as they say that it will be very easy to customize. The problem is that there will be no play store available. This means no gba/gbc/psx/n64/sega roms unless ouya comes out with their own version. This limits its ability to be a game console which will fit my needs. Is there anything similar coming to market?
Do you think the ouya will be hacked to allow custom roms?
You can always sideload apps on the Ouya.. Play Store can be easily installed on it if it is half as dev friendly as they claim..same goes for custom ROM's..

Anyone knows why is Note 8 incompatible with this game? Is there any way for me to buy this game for my Note 8?
Thanks.
I got it via (must be rooted) Market Helper. I spoofed my Note 8 to a S3 or something. Paid for the upgrades and I've been enjoying the game thus far! One lame thing compared to the IOS version is there is no online multiplayer only local via bluetooth.
Probably won't help for you to know but it installed flawlessly from the Playstore for me, unrooted latest firmware US Wifi edition.

Ur the man! I wanted to play this on my S4 and you just got me the solution! Thanked!
That solution didn't work for me. Strangely even when I spoofed it to a N7, it also didn't work though some of my apps started downloading the tablet version. In the end I installed a cracked version. It's s pity they disallowed because the game works flawlessly on Note 8.
Hi,
I was battling with the same issue on my Note 8. I noticed that the Amazon appstore also had Magic 2014 listed so i decided to give it a shot. Apparently the Amazon appstore doesnt check for compability so i was able to download it and the game works just fine. Had some issues with the in-app purchase but that was because I didnt have 1-click purchasing enabled on Amazon.com since i normally use .co.uk.
Lol. I have it installed...
2 months ago or so, when it was released, it worked without any problems. Can not test it at the moment, if its still running, but will tomorrow.

Well good for you. The thing is that not everyone got around to downloading it from the play store before they added the compability check. People were able to install it on phones as well and not just tablets. They probably added the compability check so people could only download it on tablets since everyone and their mother was down rating the app because they were trying to play it on 3.5" phone screens. Obviously things like "designed to be played on tablets" dont matter to people if they are able to download it on a phone.
Now back to the original issue. The compability issue appears to be a problem with the Note 8 since according to some sites it identifies as a Note 2 and thats why the play store says it's not compatible. Apparently there are some bank app's in the US that are having the same issue. I'm not Android savvy so dont know how to check if this is true so just hoping that there will be an update for the device to fix it before this issue gets bigger with other programs.
